Honestly that's not her boyfriend. Like she never met him once. Like when you see latest episodes you would realize she doesn't even know how her bf looks, because again that's not her bf, its the bf of the character! I am glad he is a scumbag too, but even if he wasn't she would technically not be cheating on him, because she is not the real book version character!

Wang Yuwen's character is adorable here, FL is such a cutie. Also I really think the hair styling of ML when he is in casual wear in the terrace of his house, suits him so much, really handsome!

I never liked him because for him Bong Soon was the second choice! So yeah, like for me to consider a person red flag would be just a little less than a criminal. That's why I actually never even considered him. Like he didn't do anything wrong like you creating misunderstandings, forcing FL etc, so I was like okay whatever.

He did some mistakes. That shouldn't take out the fact that he was there for FL when she was ill, he took care of her did everything. They broke up, he came to Korea for her. As a person who has loved her and still does, he just took some steps to regain that love.
Honestly it was not even that of a screentime which he got, to understand his character properly. When I replied to that comment, I just meant the exes of the leads were not bad, toxic or do anything huge.

SML in Bong Soon, had a girlfriend before, and never really saw FL as more than a friend until it was very late and she fell for ML. I wouldn't say he was a red flag, because he again he cared for FL as a friend then when he fell for her, he did not force her or anything! They really did not have any chance together.
But in this show, FL and SML loved each other, they were about to get married so it was pretty serious. According to me, if SML tried to force FL to get back or something, I would have considered him red flag, but no, he took a little time to understand, but eventually did and they went their separate ways. So I really don't have anything against him.
Again just my perception, you are free to have yours! FYI I did not ship SML with FL. FL and ML were truly better and deserved each other.

The drama team has apologized, and the said person of the publicity team has been dismissed. Wang Yuwen has accepted the apology and has decided to resume the promotions, as posted in Weibo and X. So the issue is sorted now.

Scheming would be a big word. He just wanted FL back. So he tried few things for it. He never as such forced FL. They clearly went their separate ways in an coordial way. Might be different for you, and different for me though.

The system had told her only her boyfriend can breakup with her, she cannot do it.He has stopped calling and paging her as of now. But yeah as he comes to the picture in ep 11, they could break up now.
