I think there were 2 kisses in ep 40! There was another kiss which was cut! I think they might have done it because ML was too young, like he filmed for The Double when he was 20-21, and FL was a decade older! So they did show 2 kisses but it was quickly done!
In unveil jadewind, though its not romance based, they showed the kiss for a long time, I think he is 24 now, so maybe people wouldn't mind!

That maybe because FL was in the titular role, like she was the female general! I remember during the airing, it was said they had an equal billing!

Exactly! Duke Su in red robe reached FL who was standing in front of the tree they planted together, they had a daughter then lived happily ever after! This is the ending they deserve, this is the ending fans deserve! Even if God comes and tells me that the special episode is not real just a fan service, I will reject it! Duke Su's plans never failed, he can never die in that battle!

Yes yes, its the hair! Chasing jade, his hair looks great! Like in modern dramas, he looks super handsome! But maybe in historical dramas, that kind of hairstyle doesn't suit him! But a hairstyle is no reason for not watching something, I will definitely want to give it a chance!

In the Double, it was not a dream! But after she became Jiang Li she at least met her ex a lot of times. WTPR is really good, but yes FL was a damsel in distress! But even ML was a good man, like he was nothing like a strong, shrewd, cunning person! It was nice, I enjoyed it, but nothing closer to these revenge saga tropes where leads join hands to take down villains!
I watched Our universe few episodes as well, but I did not get hooked, honestly I think I am just liking historical cdramas these days! I was busy watching How Dare You and Unveil Jadewind. I really want to start Generation to Generation, as well!

She knew who the ML was in the first life, because he was a very famous person! She also did meet him once when she was drunk, but she doesn't remember it before I guess chapter 200 lol! It was just a small scene! But after her rebirth, they meet, become allies, who help each other in taking down others before falling in love! Like you saw The Double right, its like that! Just here the FL is really cunning, shrewd, manipulative, like nothing like FL in double! In this drama, FL is not at all kind hearted, she is ruthless! Initially most of the times she doesn't even need ML's help, just few moments!
Yes, in her past life, she was madly in love with a prince who was not a successor to the throne, because he was the 9th prince! They got married, because FL's family was powerful, and prince could use that, FL did everything for him to become the emperor, she became the empress, gave birth to twins, but eventually her children were killed, she was disposed then executed!
So in the rebirth she takes revenge on every person who was responsible for her tragedy!

Its my favourite historical cdrama! Nothing comes close to it!
I was so pissed when Wang Xingyue said they had shot the marriage night scene a lot more, and only a little portion made it to the final cut! Yes the ending, but I believe they are happy together because of the special episode!
But after reading the novel for this drama I was mesmerized! Like I don't know the director here, but if they adapt it well, this can do wonders!

The first schedule of this season is in New Zealand, and the shooting is between 23rd Feb to 5th March! Actors in the schedule are- Liu Yuning, Gong Jun, Wang Yuwen, Chen Xingxu, Lin Yi, Li Naiwen and Honglei!
Zhou Ye is joining as a guest for the first schedule!

Its China, its probably going to be just a dream! But if you have a thing for strong leads, who are very cunning, who can manipulate people, and palace politics, you are going to enjoy it!
The novel is amazing, and if they adapt it nicely, it should do wonders! Like I love revenge sagas, my favourite has to be The Double, but the plot of this drama is better, if they can execute it like the novel!

Honestly everything I wrote, is not because I am a fan! I have just seen one modern drama of Wang Hedi ages back, and I watched Meng Ziyi only in Blossom! I liked the actors because I have seen them a lot in Variety shows! So this is not a fan perception, I have just written what I thought neutrally!
Also people have perceptions, not everyone has to agree with you and me! But some people have just declared a toxic war. Both the actors are getting so much hate for so many things! I feel an actor should only be criticized for their acting skills, but hating on them continuously is so bad for such stupid reasons. Its like people need a face to direct their hatred into, and thus actors become soft targets! And I am not just talking about this drama!

Legend of the female General had equal billing! But ig because both of them were not traffic stars, it did not cause such uproar!
