Depends. I felt Mo Jingli's scenes and Empress Dowager's scenes about understanding the new character Gu Zheng were important, gave a lot of information. But many other scenes just for comedy element, instead of that I would have favoured scenes between the leads. But yeah we also have episode 9 today. Not all episodes can be 100% to every audience's liking.
