Its thriller mystery detective genre! Secondly its Female Lead project, you see even her assistant is a female, and all the victims are women too! ML is very smart, and he has been continuously helping FL, he is just not serving a face card. But why is it important for him to know fighting? He is an astronomer, wouldn't it be weird as per his character graph to know martial arts! No offence to you, we all can have different perceptions, because this is just an entertainment platform.
