I want to give a shout out to the cousin of Shi De. His acting is on another level. I went on his profile and he won an acting award like he should. I am curious why such a talent man took a supporting role in a short production, but I guess he saw some value in it! (I see in the comments he is part of the LGBT or at least LGBT movement -- makes sense) The mains are good actors too, but his skills are way out of their league. He's just naturally gifted.
I agree with everyone else.. The acting is bad, story progression is not that good, etc. But I enjoyed it. Lol. It's not that great but ehhh. It gets a pass.
Hahah. I actually felt bad for Sam. Didn't know it was possible. For me, my favorite characters are Boyo and Earth. I didn't always agree with what they did or who they chose, but at the end of the day, I love their spirit. When they are at their highs, they are definitely my favorites. I support them through their lows as well no matter how painful.
Let me say I love the endings for all the characters! Some of them aren't exactly what I wanted, but most of them are spot on.. Cheers to the relationships that started and ended.. in the friend zone. ;)
It looks like Aaron and Charles are the main couple, yeah? I really like what I've seen of on the HIStory IG account. It seems to me that those two have lots of chemistry. Trying to impress a girl accidentally fall in love with a guy is not a new plot, but I am willing to sit here for it. And I love the stepbrothers plot.. Lol. I am just so happy to have HIStory back!! I looovvveee HIStory and I want it to be with me until I'm 50. I hope this one gets overwhelming support so there will be a 5, 6, 7, etc.
Personally, I liked it way way better than other BL due to intense emotions and chemistry. For me I felt the suppressed…
Yeah this is a great series. I just always find myself being harder on these ones that are so popular because I don't see the difference between it and others.
The look in Jang Eui Soo's eyes is great and powerful. 100% agree there. But that for me alone is not enough because I found the rest of the development of this story average/on par with others. So it's not all so different.. That is why I say what I said.
As for the side story of Wish You, I admit that even before Sang Yi meets Kang In Soo, his life is all about Kang In Soo. Lol. But at the beginning, the movie focuses on his relationship with his boss, the other people at work, his living conditions, and eventual promotion. They do it all while his admiration for Kang In Soo is floating albeit. But there needed to be a good development in the story before he met Kang In Soo. Much of the story also focuses on Kang In Soo's struggle within the company and then yes his dad. And then all the employees decide to quit the company and come together to help him. Sang Yi also has his band and aspirations to be a performer as well. This is a lot more side content than Where Your Eyes Linger has albeit integrated into the story rather than being a completely separate story that has nothing to do with the romance.
I prefer the relationship where the two characters already have a pre-existing relationship. When I think about it, I like the idea more. I mean, I love Addicted. But it did not play out as well for me. I think it comes down to lack of satisfaction because of the England situation and then when they meet again they don't explain how Tae Joo got there!! If it had been more coherent, maybe I would have liked it more. For me lots of satisfaction in a show also comes down to execution. That's how I would explain it.
Wish You and Craving You are better than this one, but out of these short dramas this one gets so much more praise.. I wonder why. This was still a good one though. Although, endings in these short series tend to be abrupt. We never know the details of why or how.. but whatever. I find since this one is ONLY about the main couple's relationship and has no real side stories, it's a little harder to forgive an ending where all the receipts don't add up. Maybe that's why I rate it a little lower than Wish You and Craving You. I think for many people, they just love this master-slave relationship? It has its strong points but does not make the whole show.
I have a feeling that the movie version is better like y'all all said. It would probably be better without the internal dialog. While it can sometimes be nice to hear what they think, the script seems a little forced. Like the writers are trying to think of the perfect thing to put as inner thoughts. Silence is a lot more meaningful to the audience because reading their feelings based on only actions and expressions is that much more satisfying. I will watch the movie version some day.
It's really good. I really liked it. The ending could have been a little better because it seems a little unrealistic, but other than that.. it's pretty great!
I am so shocked everyone has such negative things to say. This series reminded me why I love Taiwan. And other people are trashing this show like no other.. Talk about preferences. I'm upgrading my original 9.5 rating to a 10 to offset y'all even if it's only a little bit more.
I loved the ending? This show is a sweet short story. I expected no more. Short shows like this always have rewatch value. This was just amazingly executed. I loved the story of the married couple. Many couples break up after they get engaged, and I love that this show explored this issue. It reminds me of HIS the movie however this one is much lighter. They didn't explore any of the chef's past, but I find this okay and to be understandable since the show is so short. This is one of the better stories and is just my type too. It was lovely.
Thank you for giving it an 8. The shows being good or not really depends on the viewers. Some may find it good,…
No. I haven't seen that one. Two show up when I search "tokusatsu." Can you tell me the actors in it so I can know which one you're talking about or the full name or something?
As a college student, I really enjoy KR Build. I find the show is perfect to watch in between classes, while I'm eating, at the end of the day, and stuff like that. I will definitely check out more of the same genre stuff after I finish 49 episode KR Build. Lol.

You are definitely right! I rated it an 8 because I think it deserves an 8. I just don't have the same opinion as those who rate it a 10. I am also an Akaso Eiji fan because of this. ;) I almost finished Kamen Rider Build.
