This season may get a 10 from me no matter the ending. It's just so well written. Never a dull moment.
I personally do not like StudEarth because it just doesn't work! Earth is still with Sam. They need to break up seriously! Earth and Sam are the worst couple I have ever seen. Still then, Stud and Earth are no good together.. I do not feel excited when they kiss. I feel sad because they are sad. These two broken people coming together for one night.. Earth has to go back to his boyfriend the next day. Stud, is he ready to settle down yet? I am not sure.
I would love to see a happy, single Earth. I am in love with Bew's character and Boyo and Bew's friendship. I want to see something like that for Earth! Stud and Earth just is not healthy for them right now. Even if Earth breaks up with Sam, he cannot handle a new relationship right away. And I do not think Stud can just suddenly be in a serious, committed relationship. It doesn't suit them. It's so bad.

I get what you mean perfectly now! I really was not sure exactly what you meant by innocence, freshness gone. Now I get it. Nowadays everyone follows the formula to make yet another, dull story that conforms with the norm. If stories were not restricted by having to follow whatever tropes or clichés, there would be lots of room for creativity. This would fix the freshness and innocence problem. You opened my eyes. I did not think of it like that before.
Making money is definitely a part of it, but some smaller productions fear that they won't even break even and they will lose money forcing them to comply unless they are feeling risky. For bigger companies like GMMTV, I guess they fear going outside of their model/what they're known for? But you are right that they don't stay true to their values and instead follow the crowd for whatever reason it may be.

Not really. I assume it's because it's 4 guys all approaching one person. In Boys Over Flowers though the four guys do not all approach the same girl though. I guess it is just because there's 4 of them and they're all attractive.. so it's like F4. To me it is not really comparable.

I admit, most of these shows are full of cliches and are nothing special when looked at objectively. Many similar elements. I guess I am hoping that I do not fall out of love with the idea of love. I mean BL is old romcoms with some new added tropes, but mostly the main freshness is that it is two boys instead of a girl and guy.. I think only time will tell for me individually if I will ever get tired of these engineer school boys drinking pink milk. For me I am leaning towards a hard no, but for you it may be different. I really am curious what are the simple things for you? What would make these shows better?
But I do think Enchante is much worse in its clicheness than this show is. What about shows like Not Me for you? That one is different.
I welcome all of these actors and actresses. I have high hopes for Mike although he doesn't seem to be one of the main characters. He has a unique humor and is great for comedy series.
I am using the news of this show for a rant of my long time feelings of OffGun. Before saying it, I 100% support this production and will be watching it.
The plot, writing, everything looks so excellent. I was originally an OffGun fan. I watched both shows with Pick and Rome in it, their Our Skyy, and I watched all of OffGun Fun Night as well as other TV appearances that were subbed. I watched a subbed fanmeet as well... BUT I was disappointed with Theory of Love. I know I am in a non-existent minority. I'd love to see Not Me turn around and make me love OffGun again, but ever since I saw TOL, I just no longer kept up with OffGun or cared that much.
Like many of you too, I never expected another OffGun series. I feel like OffGun are such good friends and they will continue to be a couple in series forever. I also agree with those who say Off is raising his acting. He usually plays (intellectually) dull and goofy/aloof characters. This is so different from that. So good for him. As for Gun. Mr. Attaphan is coming at us again to show us his amazing acting skills. Lol. May his fanbase grow even larger.
