The happiness that PondPhuwin is giving me is incomprehensible. I need more of them. Please announce something for GMMTV2025. I finally finished this. This show was depression city.. Dark muted colors, most scenes at night, and endless monologues of self-doubt.. self-criticism.. self-hatred. I usually like Japan's dark and slow-paced works. This has some charm to it, but not nearly enough. The endless miscommunication wasn't charming. It needed something else. This was just an okay BL.
Overall? Once I accepted Shirasaki’s awkwardness, I enjoyed. However, it did pain me that he STILL spoke formally…
Yes, I minimally study Japanese and don't understand much at all and even I spotted many weird translations. But.. this goes for every translated show ever. Maybe like Netflix-level rarely does this, but BLs.. all the time. Some translators take a lot of liberty and slightly misconstrue the meaning.
I'm glad we get 2 episodes a week. This show is really worth it. I think Oppa Gangster had a poor storyline so it couldn't really draw me in. This has a backstory and every character has a goal. It's easy to root for all the main characters! Also, I love fixed couples because I can already see the characters holding each other 🥰🥰Because I literally saw these actors do that in another series!! 😂😂
One of the few BL series to leave me wanting more. It ended so quickly because I genuinely enjoyed this start to end. I don't think they could have done anything to make this better. For the storyline they had, they executed it perfectly.
But on a serious note, I think I have finally been converted to a PondPhuwin stan. I think PondPhuwin needs to become GMMTV's number one couple, and I want them to take over the world.

Okay. I rewatched the trailer, and I see what you're saying now.. Without your explanation, I wouldn't have fully understood it the 2nd watch either. It does make sense this will be mostly 21st century since he is with a ghost from the past!! I do hope that if I watch this, it has a lot of flashback scenes. Like at least 30-40% of the show because that's the main draw of it if you ask me.
This series so far has really been good start to finish. Really congratulations to all who worked on this project. I kind of just wish all my favorite couples had non-stop BLs coming out one after another. Like.. 2 to 3 PondPhuwin projects a year? No? Lololol. I know it's not possible but I wish.. I wouldn't be surprised if the next SeaKeen project is a year and a half out till it airs.
Wow. I am so impressed by this first episode. I could almost feel tears coming on at some point. Nowadays, I cry when stuff is too cute. I know, I have a problem. Lmao. Fourth is doing an amazing job, and I love the next episode that we already have the play. I was thinking that maybe having Gem4 do another high school series was a bad choice.. If it's not too early to say.. this is not a bad choice at all. This is their 3rd time playing a high-school couple. What's next GMM? I really want to know.
This couple is quickly rising in my best couples of all time list. I don't understand why people are so disgusted by the robot concept? I believe the first time I was introduced to it was a Chinese movie before the gay ban. I would love if someone could find it.. I don't think there's more than one 😂 But this show is not the first and not the last of this genre. In fact, I am waiting for more of this genre.
