How can she 'die'? She's an immortal with an immortal body. She can't die or get old. I think her 10 years punishment was up, so her powers were returned and then she went back to heaven to even the score with BJS. That said, how can an immortal body not give birth to an immortal child, considering who she is and who the father is. Even without powers, she should still be able to give birth to an immortal child with no problem.

Wow color me impressed! 2025 dramas have been giving me surprises left and right. This one didn't get high hopes and I didn't have any expectations going in, only to come out of it amazed.

I gotta say, the relationship between both leads is so refreshing. I remember commenting elsewhere that whenever I feel like the ML is softening for the FL and we're finally seeing some emotional progression, he will then kick her down and remind us who he is. I didn't blame him. FL didn't blame him either. That's who he is. At this point usually we'll see the FL painstakingly trying to get him to fall in love with her and he'll then change his mind. It's so rare to see FL sticking to her guns, realizing the core of who he is, and act accordingly. It was refreshing to see HER giving him a swift kick in the knee to remind us who SHE is. She's not some toy or pawn that can be willed around by anyone - not even the one who she calls an ally (because let's face it, he hasn't shown much proof he can be trusted.) I am so in awe of her.

Yes, part of what she did is betrayal of his trust in her, but he did the same to her. She had no intention to actually put his family at harm, though if it comes down to it, she won't falter about it either, it if serves a purpose. Likewise, he didn't give a shit about her family, only helping at the end to serve his needs. It was satisfying when he put her in a chokehold and she gave him a taste of his own medicine.

This is no longer a reliable relationship, but they both are means to an end. They have mutual interest in each other and begrudgingly help each other out of the situation they're in. They're frenemies at this point. But he should def give her more respect now than before - she's no longer capable of being a chess piece.

I don't ever see CDramas giving female leads the respect that is their due. Always in revenge dramas, the FL gets sidetracked with romance. Not here. She aims squarely at her target and doesn't allow distractions get in her way. Might be one of my few favorite female anti-heroes

Objectively, yes, ML is the better choice. There was none of that strong focus on her morals or principles when we got those first flashbacks. I don't even know if she knew his character at that point - because how can you be with someone for so long and not know? There are so many gaps in their relationship that I'm baffled about - is she really that concerned about his principles or is she only upset about being dropped from a cliff and hearing him say that one phrase? They keep dragging that voice-over reel from before of him saying "it's only a woman," which meant what? That it's only a woman he doesn't care about - e.g., her? Or that it's only a woman, meaning he can easily discard any woman so long as it's not her? There's no clear cut distinction made here. We can only speculate.

Yes agreed. To be honest, I don't mind the desire to be power-hungry or even cruel. But they have to be that way in an almost righteous manner, if that makes sense. Think DFQC from Love Between Fairy And Devil. Ruthless, cunning and unforgiving, but can decipher the difference between right and wrong and tries to do the right thing. Someone who's shades of gray. And then FL comes along and changes their behavior <3, especially for someone who used to be blind and never could ascertain who his savior was.

You don't know that those are the maids from the pavilion. Those could just be dead bodies that were already dead beforehand. As you can tell, her maids were still with her after she returned.

He had every intention to marry her, before she fell off the cliff. He grabbed and choked her under the assumption that she wasn't the one he loved. She didn't know her brother was his love's brother. When he found out, he tried to warn/threaten the brother, but he knew the brother wasn't simply a "brother." After he found out about her identity, he tried to make amends, but she simply wouldn't have it. Don't forget, after he found out it was her on that cliff, he doved into the waters and never stopped searching for her. For years. And he even obsessively devoted a whole room in his house for their marriage room.

Yes, when someone tells you that they no longer love you, you should move on. I agree. In his defense, he probably thought there was still some chance for them to get back together once he has her full time attention. However, that's not the point here. The issue I have is with the FL - objectively, yes, ML was the better choice, but the question is why she was willing to give ML so many chances, but nothing for 2nd ML.

She was gravely injured, and what? She wasn't injured when ML shot her with an arrow by accident? Again, it could've been a case where she had misunderstood his intentions, but she never investigated. She just blindly believed ML when he shot her. And when her dad went missing, she wasn't informed of the situation, so for all she knew, ML could've harmed her dad, too. Wouldn't that be a case of bad apples?

Not a bad drama, more slice of life, with some political intrigues, family drama and love interspersed throughout. It's not necessarily the "rise" of Ning, but more like seeing her how she steadily stabilizes her position in the family. Still, it's not the worst way to spend your time. I don't feel robbed.

ML looks a little constipated at times, I think it has to do with the way he purses his lips so often. It makes him look pruny or scrunchy. Or it's just how he's built unfortunately. Things always went a bit too smoothly for him, so there's not a lot of character growth. This is a bit of a miss, since he's suffered through so much abuse in his childhood, so the fact he accepts his family so easily after being abandoned and neglected throughout his youth is a bit far-fetched. His noble aspirations are drilled into the audience; he's a good guy - morally upright, etc. We get it. But can such a person ever exist? His protagonist armor is too thick sometimes.

FL is fine in most regards. The only gripe I have with her is how her love was so easily obtained and discarded. For LJX (the 2nd ML), she was in love with him. Then she overhead one phrase from him and she never thought for one second it could be a misunderstanding? She gave ML so many chances after he lied to her, but she won't even give LJX a single chance to explain after she fell off the cliff? She never thought to investigate the situation? The director did her so dirty here. We as the audience never got to see the backstory to why she gave up on him. When he finally explained what happened, she still didn't give the guy a chance; she even saw everything he did for her. When the girl who tossed FL into the cliff kidnapped FL, she said laughed and said one thing that I thought was pretty accurate: "Who knew LJX would ever fall to such depths? That the one he loves see him in such a despicable way?" Even she knew how much 2nd ML loves FL, but she was SO blind to it. Maybe the way he does things is underhanded and detestable, but she didn't know this beforehand. So how come she gave up on him so easily? And considering this huge traumatic event in her love life, she accepted love again pretty smoothly. It doesn't make any sense.

2nd ML - Obsessive, dark, broody, such a guy should be how ML should be, since their circumstances are pretty similar. He lost everything that was dear to him, as did ML. As a result, when he finds something wonderful, he holds it very dear. He was good to his nephew and great to FL. Yes, he did some underhanded things and yes, no one is saying he's faultless, but he did what he needed to, to make something of himself. He is ruthless. But could anyone say that he didn't have reasons to be that way? Plus, he exonerated himself at the end. It's obvious this character was meant to be pitiful and make the audience feel sympathetic for him. To be honest, if he was the ML, I think the story would be a lot more fun to watch. Imagine, a blind guy who had no idea who was his savior, and finally found her but realizes what he did to her. The angst, etc. could be a whole drama long.

2nd FL's family - They def skipped a huge part in the 2nd mother's situation. Like how the 2nd sister and brother resolved their differences with FL. We never got shown that part. Aside from annoying 2nd house, the rest of the family was charming and acted their parts accordingly. I couldn't hate any of them.

I disagree. Abuse - emotional or otherwise - is still abuse. Why can't she air out how she feels? All she ever wanted was an apology - not money. Imagine you were in a relationship with someone for 6 years; you've aborted a kid for them 2x and you've been kept hidden like a dirty secret for the entire time. On top of that, you're getting dragged through the mud by your partner's fans and no one came out to protect or defend you. It's been one-sided all along. He obviously doesn't love her enough, so why should she still protect him? Who cares if the love she had for him was once noble? Is love supposed to be reciprocal - if yes, then he hasn't shown it. If no, then what's wrong with what she did?

In addition, she's been providing a lot of verifiable evidence. He hasn't shown anything. I think the case is closed on this one. And there are tons of women out there that still stay with their abusers (a lot of them with domestic violence tendencies) Look up stockholm syndrome, battered women syndrome, etc. There are plenty of reasons why someone stays with their abusers.

lol if they weren't famous, would blowing their cover even matter? nobody cares about some random nugu. i'm not sure where you got the notion that they're only waiting for their exes to get famous before exposing them. if anything, it seems like once the guys get famous, they seem to ditch/betray their partners instead. funny how that works.

IMO, exposes shouldn't have time limits. If there's dirt on someone, there's dirt on someone. This was still occurring as of 2023, so it's not that long ago. When she's in the relationship with him, of course she won't reveal anything. Just like Show Luo and his ex - she didn't reveal his dirty laundry until about a year after they broke up. She's had time to process the breakup, sort through her feelings, deal with her misery and now finally come forward to say something. Maybe she's had ulterior motives? Possible, but that doesn't really erase the truth of the matter.

If I were him, and this is for sure not true, I'd come out and say something ASAP. Not hide behind the public and watch as his hard-earned reputation gets tarnished.

She did post on her page the abortion paperwork listing his real name and signature. How many "qin" work in ebiz that also has that same name? Also, having kids has to be consented from both sides. The first time she had the abortion, she was consoled by his promise that if this happens again, they'll get married. The 2nd time, he said the timing's not right - so she had to abort again. She was lulled into this false sense of security they'll have the kid if this happens again, so she allowed him to not use protection.

It does strange when you mention she is still selling things like nothing happened, but on the other hand, selling things is a part of her job. She made a living out of that. Two things can be true at the same time - she's upset about what he did to her and she can still work in her grief/anger. She still needs to put a brave smiling face on - or else who will buy her stuff.

It is industry-dependent. He started as a cross-talker, and then moved into mainstream entertainment. If his cross-talking team accepts him, he'll still have a job, even if it doesn't pay as much anymore. He has a teammate in the cross-talking group that also cheated, but he's still working. Mainstream media won't work with him as much anymore, but he will still have a job.

If the abortion was forced, then yeah, that's illegal. But the abortion sounds consensual. She did it to keep him, but still, she made the choice. Cheating, on the other hand, it depends. Wang Leehom cheated, but he's still working. If the ONLY thing they did was cheat, it's not illegal.

I don't know exactly when they broke up - i think some time in 2023. I think he had a fling with Hani Kyzy, and then after Meng Ziyi. But these are just speculations. No official declaration, so no one knows. What did his ex say in the livestream?

It is very disappointing. I thought he was just this big adult child, which is endearing in a way. But who knew he's like this. I'm sure some parts of him can still be great, as we're all multi-faceted. But he strung along his ex for so many years and he didn't even try to make it up to her. THAT is the most disappointing part.

Yes, there will be times when antifans come together to frame an actor. But this is not the work of antifans. This is the work of his ex, who has provided evidence to prove what happened. I was a fan, but it is hard to reconcile between his public and private persona.

Actually, there may now be charges. He shot himself in the foot - apparently his fans created a fake public media website claiming all allegations are false. This is a BIG NO-NO. Impersonating a public media company is illegal; his ex has already gone to the police. All his fans that previously forwarded/sent out that website screenshot have taken it down. His own profile states he had no idea someone on his fans team created a fake media site and has fired that person (unsure of this.) Compared to cheating and abortion - this is much more serious. I don't know if it's enough for the police to investigate and lay charges, but this seems really major. Well, I guess if he's not the one who created that website, then he's fine. But who knows. "Big brother" might make an example out of him...

There are no charges. He didn't do anything illegal. He's just a scumbag boyfriend. He was in a relationship with his ex for ~6 years and he's cheated on her many times. He requested she abort twice (after the first time, he promised her that if she gets pregnant again, they'll get married. After she got pregnant 2nd time, he says timing is not right and so, she aborted again. Now she will have difficulty in the future with fertility.) She acted as his personal and professional manager, and basically financially supported him through all 6 years. When he cheated on her, he always made his affair partners pay - for the cheapest hotel rooms, etc. You can pretty much call him a gigolo. He also promoted an image of himself as a wealthy 2nd generation, but in fact, had been borrowing from his ex and his ex's wealthier friends...

It doesn't look to be false accusations. His ex posted all the evidence. More than one woman has come out to condemn him. He hasn't said anything at all.

I really like his acting. It would be upsetting if he was banned - but I completely understand why.
