Does anyone know if there will be a Season 2? This series warms my heart and it's just SO funny and witty. I can't stop laughing and even after watching it for months now, I still have great feelings about the team and the drama which is rare for me.

Title My Journey to You Spoiler
I don’t recall her saying Yun Que’s body was unrecognizable, could you tell me what scene? In episode 17,…
ya. you're prob right, i prob read to much into it. yws was describing the corpse in ep 17, saying something like the corpse was already 'xue xia mo wu" which usually describes the corpse as being irrecognizable with blood. something of that nature. but looking at folks' spoilers, i think i read too much into their relationship and they have no relationship.

I find the whole YQ death very fishy. When YWS saw her, she said her body was already irrecognizable. It could be a fake YQ. I still think SGQ has some type of relationship with YQ, but at the moment, don't know what that is just yet

One thing about SGQ is that dang the girl can cry! She's had a tear in every episode so far. Her voice is a bit weak, but she's good at leveling her voice so it sounds even. Really good start for her as a career and young to boot!

Title My Journey to You Spoiler
Am I the only one finding it odd that when YWS and SGQ had that conversation where YWS said, "we don't have any relationship" and SGQ froze? Like it was very deliberate and SGQ seems like she had something she wanted to say. Is it not possible that YWS was told she has a sister (but she doesn't know it's her twin sister), instead SGQ was impersonating her younger sister? Which is why the death of her little sister was so obscure. When in fact, SGQ was her impersonated little sister all along?

Also, can someone explain the whole front/back hill significance to me? Is the back hill considered more powerful and higher on the hierarchy than front hill? If so, why isn't the leader sword wielder selected by backhill and instead selected by the actual sword wielder from the front?

Yes, I'm regretful that women and girls in many societies have been taught that it's okay to be se*ually exploited and that underage romance is totally a-ok. I mean, that's why the Me Too movement is happening ALL over multiple countries right now, isn't it? Finally women feel empowered to speak up when previously they've been gaslit to think this crap is fine. Just because majority of women in the 30s thinks it's ok to be treated like dirt and cater to their husbands, doesn't actually mean it's right. But hey, to each their own. This is why I know my comment would be downvoted to oblivion, because of girls and women like these, of which there are too many.

What you're saying is that majority of the folks who pushed thru the first 3 episodes (without context) are doing it because they have rose colored glasses on. Okay lol. I really hope it's just rosy and not blinds and think this crap is acceptable behavior

You're throwing a red herring here. I'm advising how the plot so far for the first 3 episodes doesn't make sense and is inherently red flag behaviors - tell me where that's wrong.

Secondly, most dramas do not unfold this way. You don't see questionable behavior like this which is deemed "green flag" to lead up to an explanation of why. Usually it's the opposite - bad behavior which unravels into the why. So it means either this drama (for the first 3 episode) is trying to convince the audience that he's bad and unraveling into why OR it's just really bad misdirection of the drama's characterizations. Take your pick.

Oh and also, "jumping into conclusions" - uh, how else was I supposed to gauge the motivation and storyline of something wrong happening for the first 3 episodes? I'm literally only working with what I have and seen - I don't have to watch someone trying to commit su*code to know where it's heading and only gauge once they're dead.

Well, if he is after fortune than he just need to marry that psycho girl. That way, he will be free from debt…
It doesn't work that way. You don't marry your harasser. Imagine someone pestering you all the time - the last thing you'd want is to marry that person

Uh no. I don't have a "wild" imagination, this is literally the plotline of many dramas where the tragic heroine bounces back from being in a catastrophic relationship with her ex who treated her like a queen only to betray her later on. And there's literally NO context or details in the drama where it advises her family has been helping him a lot. Whoever does know that is either a psychic or a sheeple whose only motivation in watching dramas is to see their idols. An alternative reason is that they're poor suckers for red flag relationships (much more dangerous than being a sheeple.) Anyone else who doesn't know is just normal thinking people.

If you read the novel or just wait and watch the drama more, his “over kindness” behavior is explained. And…
Okay that explains his behavior a little more, but without that context, the first 3 episodes come off creepy AF. The director needs to do a better job

Holy moly. I'm gonna get downrated to oblivion for this, but holy moly there are SO many red flags just from the first 3 episodes alone.

I KNOW the argument is that he's not grooming her and maybe it's NOT, but there are so many ways where the ML feels like he is manipulating her so that eventually she'll be his for ulterior motives (e.g. one of those plots where he marries into her family so he can inherit her fortune.)

I mean, dude, he coincidentally remembers to buy her family (dad) a light bulb because he heard it was broken? The destitute background and working multiple jobs but has the money and time to invest in her petty affairs (dessert, lightbulb, cake, beverages)? His timely appearance when she's going thru her classmate's love confession and forbid her from pursuing relationship at that age? The constant flirtations (ok granted maybe that's just his personality, but still...eff boy vibes, no?) and then the knowledge that her family is wealthy while his is not.

Every time I think he's a gentleman who just treats women well, I remember folks here specifying that he's broke because of this crazy chick whose father his dad killed. Which means he's more than likely to HATE women because of her psychopathy than to find room in his heart to treat other women well.

Make this drama make sense

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
This drama has had some pretty big pacing problems. It's way too fast in the beginning, way too slow in the MingYe dream arc and then way too fast again at the end.

I assume that the side story will reveal the HE we've all been waiting for - which will show that TTJ has opened a new portal for the devil spirits so that they can live in peace amongst the rest of the world. If not, they've really effed up the story.

I did enjoy the edit of the ending arc between TTJ and LSS - no more misunderstandings. We are literally told that LSS understood what TTJ is doing after leveling up as a goddess (which is weird, btw, cus she's supposed to be training under "emotional void" discipline and so, why would she not be emotionless when confronting him?), so at least there's no miscommunication there.

This drama is basically a one-man show for Leo Luo. He did most of the emotional and acting work of suffering. BaiLu is pretty much just there for the pretty.

Response to 2. Pei Yin was going back to the capital to break off his engagement with someone *else*, not the…
Ohhh your explanation makes so much more sense! But I don't think Pei Yin is Zhou Yuan's father. Her mother wasn't shown to be the Guardian of the clan (although there's possibility that that wasn't the mother, just a maid) who drifted her into the river.

If we say that the powers never occurred, maybe her actual parents left the village before the meteor fell, and somehow managed to start up their own little country lol. Throwing possibilities out there.

My fav part of this drama is the ML! He's so hawt in here compared to his previous dramas. And he has the acting chops to display the earnesty of his love. I mean I knew he was good at showing a sincere heart since that drama about young heroes, but in here, he has transformed from dopey simpleton boy to handsome sly man with a heart of gold. How can you not love!

The FL is fine too, at least her cutesy and spunky moments don't make me gag. But you can't make me pretend she's not a bit mismatched with the ML's good looks! Nevertheless, her acting is adequate here.

Pei Yin is so pretty and flirty in here. Sad that they only relegated him as a cameo character. He certainly deserves more screen time than Lin Yan and Ning Lan. While Lin Yan and Ning Lan were also a fun couple, they just didn't have that coupley spark. Individually I think they were all fine actors/actresses. But together, they just don't hit the right spots. Same for Li Mian and Mong Diep.

Lol the ending is a total cop out! Like the director can't decide which one is better so decides to toss anything and everything all at once to the audience!

Here are my theories - 1) Wei Qi dies, but before he dies, Pei Yin puts him under a type of illusionary world where his consciousness has the ability to exist even without his physical body. And in this world, everything is under ideal circumstances, no special powers, no conflicts, everyone is just happy. We also heard Zhou Yuan say that she was in a comatose state after Wei Qi's death. Maybe she also passed away from heartbreak and Peiyin also took her consciousness and tossed her in this illusionary world so she could be with Wei Qi.

2) Peiyin, this b@stard, decides that this is too much death, and the only way to a happy ending is to prevent these deaths, starting with the original deaths that caused all the other deaths. He could've done this from the very start - why he did this after seeing all the alternative endings baffle me. Didn't he say he wanted to break off the engagement between him and the original tribal leader? So why was he so happy to be reunited with her?

But let's assume that's what he did. He went back in time (using little Wei Qi's nephew powers or those magical rocks) and managed to save his beloved and thus all the endings after it. Which led to the happy ending in the world where Wei Qi could meet Zhou Yuan again as just regular human beings.

3) Now that they're back in the regular world, Wei Qi still wants to remember the adventures they had in the alternate universe and writes it all out. OR this was all just his imagination/dream from the very beginning which is a really lazy ending and the dumbest of them all.

Story:

This is like a throwback drama to the 2000s. Like it's trying to make sense, and has all the money in the world to try to make it make sense with all the CGI and special effects, but the storyline and development just won't cooperate.

If we saw this in 2000, it would probably make a huge splash, but now it's already been done and we expect more. The current storyline is dated and boring and worse of all - BEING TOLD. It is not a story where the characters drive the plot. Not to mention so many plotholes and inconsistencies.

Characters/Actors:

The characters' development are also long and draggy - I do not need to see someone crying prettily for 10 min straight. It's boring and waste of time. The FL barely does anything except cry up till near the end of the drama. I'm guessing she's only 2nd billing in this series, because they really wanted her to be just a damsel in distress.

Vin Zhang hard carried the drama; I feel so bad for him because all his scenes were believable especially when he's suffering. He tried. They did him dirty by putting him in this drama. (But to be fair - there's not a single drama of his where I could say the storyline made sense and is good to watch till the end. I feel like he deliberately chooses these dramas where he's able to flex his acting chops, instead of the usual domineering idol boss ML characters. Unfortunately these dramas are also usually flops.) From what I've seen, he has a hard time connecting/gaining chemistry with his costars. It's no different here. He feels standoffish with Liu Shao, even when they are physically close and there's lot of intimate scenes. It feels forced and unnatural. But his acting is there - can you imagine those final ending episodes when he has to show he's suffering over and over and over again? Man the amount of effort he puts out is incredible.

Xu Lu is just useless as a FL. We never see her grow as a character. She's just...there. A sacrificial cannon fodder who is the main loci for Vin Zhang's and He Na's affections, but basically pointless. We don't even see her use her all powerful God power till the very end and even then, she still has to be saved by other men lol. I think she is less than 2nd billing in here... maybe like 4th or 5th. It's hard acting as a Mary Sue, because your actions are restricted to doing good only, but it's worse when you're a goody two shoes who's also boring. This project is a waste of her efforts and her tears.

And don't get me started on the side characters, like He Na who is also equally a cannon fodder. ...Yeah.

This drama is like at most 5 points on a 10 point scale considering how much money went towards it and how badly the drama was directed.

I really, really like Zhang Xue Ying. She was great in Princess Silver - the most natural actress I've seen in a long time. It's unfortunate she was paired with such a sucky plot and with such a poor actor like Aarif in that one. I lamented that they wasted her talents in PS.

I was hoping this one would be a good project, but wow the cast and plot is just plain lacking. The ML is so scrawny looking and can barely act, with the personality of a tsundere to boot. ZXY hard carries every scene with him in it and he is just coasting by with low level effort. Their story is boring too - a bunch of stuff seems tossed together with no rhyme or reason for why. It just happens.

I feel so sorry for her to be paired with either inadequate costars or costars with a lack of chemistry or a sucky plot. She deserves better.
