The point was not the dude in the car but the female character and what she said, it is very telling.
I figured that you will like Kiss of Death it is more straightforward.
This drama is more of non-linear storytelling. Things do not happen in the order in which they were presented. It gets revealed later though and you go "wow! So that is why she did that""

I like the story because it is about the women. Too many times we get stories claiming to be female focused but it is all about how cool the dude is.
There is no perfect handsome or rich dude to distract from the female characters.

You can also try Kakugo(Will This Love Be Checkmate). Make sure to watch the drama before the movie.
I made the mistake of watching the movie first with Ito A to E and that ruined the story for me

EDIT: Will This Love Be Checkmate is a totally different story my mistake. I need to fix the file name on my PC lol
I recommend Yong Pal, rewatching it 5 years later when it was not airing, I was able to pay more attention and the female lead is very "ïntriguing" lol

Blaming the actress for the weak plot is just pathetic.
The issue is that people expected an epic given the source material but it was more toned down.
It was fine but it was no Goblin.
I think Bride of HaBaek suffered from airing after Goblin too.
Goblin gave people unrealistic expectations.
I did not exactly enjoy Goblin myself but the production values were certainly much higher than shows like HaBaek which felt like a low budget independent drama lol

I rewatched recently. I should watch Lovers in Bloom since I love Im Soo Hyang.

Ugly Alert is the best Korean drama I have watched in my opinion. It is over 130 episodes but you just need to watch the first 10 episodes to know if you are gonna continue or not.

Hwayuki was fine. I just find it laughable that actresses get blamed for crappy writing. It is is pathetic. They did what was asked of them

Yeah, the writing and directing was horrible. I was pretty pissed at how HaBaek had zero CGI with its pathetic that I watched this for the powers and not really for the plot.
It felt more like an American series that has 10 seasons to settle things.

My Girlfriend is a Nine Tailed Fox gave us unrealistic expectations for the Hong Sisters. They are not that good. I haven't watched all their shows to be fair.
Hotel De Luna was okay but it was still quite flat.

If you like the characters from episode 1 then there is no room for growth. You cannot tell a story with perfect characters.

9 End 2 Outs is quite old and very underrated. It gave me the same vibe as In Time With You.
Some scenes even seem like duplicates.
It terms of slow burn romance, I do not think anything else can beat it.
Having zero family issues gives us more time with the couple.

I rewatched and I have to agree. I remembered many scenes incorrectly.
It was just odd watching a drama of a dude (Park Bo Gam) kissing his best friend's wife.
Rewatching after the Song divorce made it less weird and it was very good haha.

I recommend Woman Who Still Wants to Marry 2010. It has a lot of flaws but it is very great in what it does right like the comedy

Hahaha I agree. Can We Get Married was better in my opinion.
The other couples were better especially Lee Som, she was a revelation but I didn't finish the story. It is overrated.
