Yeah, the ‘Romance’ genre felt completely misleading since there was no real romance at all even until the…
I didn't know they were filmed at the same time. Any idea if they hinted when they will release the second season?
I think Season 2 will bring them together too.

Happens on 8th episode but still FL has weak mentality immature for her age
Thanks....I think I might just drop and come back when I have nothing else better to watch. I'm more caught up in c-dramas right now, especially Pursuit of Jade. It's so good!!! 🥰

The c-dramas so far in 2026 have just been on point, compared to the k-dramas. I feel like the k-dramas this year lack good lead chemistry. Although, I'm looking forward to IU's new drama. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint me!

I just finished episode 4 and I kind of dislike the FL. I’m not a fan of stringing along two people and bouncing back and forth between them. Most people know if they like someone right away or by the second date. Also if this was real life, those two guys would have walked away by now with all her indecisiveness.

Does she finally make a choice and stick with one guy? If so what episode? Please give me me some spoilers so I know if I should keep watching.

Her feelings are actually valid. She witnessed her brother's death and Xinxu didn't do anything to save him, then…
I agree it's rational that she is upset.

Was what he did wrong?....Yes
Could he have chosen a better way?....Probably

However, I get he was acting out of a place of hate. Also, for the sake of falling in love with her, he was willing to put up with her brother and even saved him from the fire. Not to mention the bazillions times he came to her rescue when she stupidly ran into problems without thinking of the consequences. So, he isn't all bad.

I just feel she is being too cruel and unreasonable. If that was me I would have looked at it from all perspectives and suggested some time apart to think things over and deal with my feelings. Instead, she attacked him verbally and mentally by saying she was putting an end to everything.

Plus, she knows they are connected regardless of the pact. She will die without him (this was explained to her earlier on). I just wish she would think things through a bit more before acting.

But even after knowing her brother killed himself on purpose and that he told Xinxu he was part of killing his parents before he died, she still chose to be so hateful. I get she is torn, but realistically her brother was part of the cruel treatment Xinxu received and I feel ML is justified to feel hurt. Why is she adding to the hurt? That's like me personally watching my brother beat a puppy in front of me, but saying he is my brother and did no wrong, then going over and landing a kick to the puppy. I guess it just makes no sense to me....🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm too much of a rational thinker...lol

The FL is ticking me off at this point. I've made it to episode 30 and I for the life of me don't understand her reasoning at all. Her choices and who she decides to throw hate on are completely baffling to me. It's like she forgives the bad guys and hates the good people saving her 50 thousand times over. I hope she redeems herself...fingers crossed!!!!!!

Before I start this, can someone give me a spoiler and tell me what the romance is like. It seems like it addresses more of life's problems from everyone's comments. If it's just mediocre, I don't want to waste my time.

I went into this blindly after discovering it on a streaming site and next thing you know it's 2 am and I'm binge-watching it like crazy. I absolutely loved the leads chemistry! Their kiss scenes were actually believable. There were also some cute funny moments that kept the drama light and likable. Overall, definitely recommend watching!

Edward Chen is a Taiwanese actor. He was really good in the Your name engraved here. I also liked him in Lessons…
That's good to know. Thanks!

I remember seeing him as a guest role in Rainless Love in a Godless Land and I think it was First Frost when it comes to c-dramas. I've never seen him in a main lead that's why I was hesitant about the pairing in this drama.

This year, Dilraba and CXX had good chemistry though in LOTTL and was well liked by most people. Sword Rose had…
I actually have Love Beyond the Grave on my watchlist. I never read the novel, but that is good to know.

I've also noticed she has been trying to branch away from romance roles, but sadly that's my personal preference when it comes to her. I'm not saying she doesn't still shine as an actress in other roles...I just like the rom-com theme better.

However she has impressed me in LOTTL with her more bad-axx persona! I like seeing her come off as a stronger FL.

I don't think so. Rather, our expectations have increased. What I used to be happy with can no longer be the same.…
I respect that. 🥰

My daily life is stressful, so I tend to gravitate more towards romance/rom-com type dramas and slice-of-life (something rather light and mindless). So, in general thriller, action, or anything darker usually tends to get eliminated from my watch list. However, every once in a blue moon I do like a good psychological thriller.

Wow is that why? I’m wondering why he bullied her so much in the beginning and still no clarity from the drama.
I'm still waiting for the truth to be revealed. I hope they clarify it for my OCD obsession with details being concluded in a story. LOL!

The two of them really are similar. I thought the same thing as I watched the FL deal with Zhuang Xu.

I love this drama so far, despite it being a slow-burn romance. I actually like the FL and ML's chemistry. I'm 12 episodes in and it's starting to pick up and get interesting.

Also, I saw a bunch of comments about the ML's connection with the FL being confusing. Honestly in the first episodes FL's aunt talks about the FL's dad having a mistress with a daughter. I'm guessing the mistress's daughter was the one he was supposed to meet him and his friend had her confused with the real daughter (FL). Just my guess....🤷🏻‍♀️
