Second time around and I'm still not mad at the ending. It didn't feel out of place for me, just sad. As it was meant to be. That final moment with Hao Ting and Sun Bo with the night lights and the background music is one of the most beautiful things I've seen

So did you watch some other dramas than from China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Vietnam? If yes, could you please tell…
I have not watched any BL from Vietnam just yet, unfortunately.

But I believe thinking something is 'good' is completely subjective and my tastes will not be the same as yours, but if I am to impose my habits on you; I would say try and watch everything that interests you; be it because of the story line or the actors involved; irrespective of whether other people like it or not or the rating it has. And if you like it great, if not, there are many more to watch.

Only 3 more episodes left to watch but I gotta admit I'm a lot underwhelmed. The rating did get me thinking that we had a revolutionary BL not set in high school or the engineering department that would portray a more mature relationship. But alas, as one who has watched a fair majority of BL's from all the different countries; this honestly was a bit of a disappointment, it really was testing my suspension of disbelief multiple times. It could have done sooooo much better with just a few tweaks.

It is cute though, maybe just not how I imagined it would be based on the hype around it. To each his own though, if you enjoy it go right ahead,

(Only on ep 4) this is an opinion piece but like it had soooo much potential ? but so many tiny directive and story choices that just diluted the whole plot and really tested one's suspension of disbelief. Little changes to some points of the story that add nuance and build the character and also add to plot are told rather than shown, it just feels like a checklist of things to be said to make the story rather than watching the story unfold (Just my own desire not to have everything dictated to me like a child) AND PLEASE more sense when it comes to the gun fights, literally how do you have a gun pointed at your target and not shoot? when they're standing still? once is an oversight but multiple times of missing clear targets becomes intentional, it feels insulting, come on director. One person versus ten or more supposedly trained and fully equipped people??? and lone ranger wins? with barely any scratches?? I really was looking forward to the action of the show being realistic but nah it hurts watching some of these scenes. And I'm not one for nitpicking casting choices as I don't have biases or really follow celebrities closely therefore it rarely influences my decision to watch a show, I'm only familiar with one or two of both ML's shows, but there's something missing with PSH's performance, I can't seem to believe her tough girl act, it feels unnatural, and also wacky genius always trying to be funny grates on me sometimes. But alas, I am still watching the show and look forward to finishing it, hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Side note: ep 1 and sitting on top of the train but somehow still managed to dodge ALL those people? unless it's just an audience misdirect and she'll turn out being part of the Control Bureau, who knows, my braincells are tired of overthinking things.

honestly when I saw no hint of engineers I cheered but apprehensively. This is definitely a rollercoaster but so refreshing and endearing that I fell in love with it
