I just watched it recently and I totally loved it. Gave it a 10 rating here. I was sooo super amazed. Especially the story with the Crow lady got to me... damn I teared up.. <3 I wouldn't mind a second season with even more stories, haha

But has this really something to do with them being lesbian? They were murdererd because they angered the bad guys and helped the main leads with the money robbery from the bad dude, lol. We could debate now if they especially made them lesbian or if it just helped the story. But actually I'm more happy they even included a lesbian couple - and in such a natural way. Of course they ended up death but even if they weren't in a relationship they would have been murdererd because of the locker key. So I'm not so sure about that. But it's true that sadly there are a lot of movies where LGBTQ community members end up death. (I'm thankful for Thai BLs tho at this point xD). And thank you. It's really fun discussing these things. I couldn't talk to anyone here in the feeds about BOK because like.. nobody watched it xD

I have to say tho, that in "Barrack O'Karma" they also had a lesbian couple. And they didn't degrade it or anything. Everyone was pretty ok and open about it. No stupid comment - nothing. Just acceptance. Just because that of the time (50s) they couldn't really be open about it themselves and such. And in "Threesome" they approached LGBTQ in a funny and a little awkward way - but definitely not in a bad way. And these are also TVB dramas. I just wanted to say this because these were my first impressions with HK and TVB in relation to LGBTQ. And I was actually positive surprised in comparison to chinese dramas. :)

Then it's the best to start a HK drama now ;) ~

Thats true. Subs for the HK dramas are even harder to find than some others xD For me it was love at first 'listening' with Cantonese. The first time I heard it I was smitten ❤. I can really highly recommend "Barrack O'Karma" but I understand that it might not be for everyone. ;)
