I watched anime as a kid and then rediscovered it around 2015. Towards the end of 2016 I came across a discussion…
Omg same.. I don't have any interest in US series anymore ^^ Boring ><

I never visited any asian country... I can read Hangeul tho^^ but not translate xD

Kdramas were always dominating for me too. But since the beginning of 2019 I have watched only chinese, thai or jdrama.. ;)

My sis is the only one around me also watching asian dramas.. but others don't understand me xD But I don't care. I love asian dramas and I love MDL :)

My introduction to Dramas is basically the same as yours.I've started with Anime as well since I was really little,…
I still play Pokemon, hehe ><
I also think USA tv series are boring^^ except "Criminal Minds" - I still watch it sometimes...
I'm german and I hate all german TV shows/series^^

I haven't watched BOF either^^ I think the japanese version is the best ;)

That's so cool. I also thought about subbing but I'm not sure if I have the time :/

Article How I met Asian dramas^^ Spoiler
I started watching K-dramas back in 2014 and my first one was The Heirs! I was part of a leadership programme…
Leadership programme? Joined university's korean society? What the-.. that really sounds interesting! ^o^

I also liked "A love so beautiful" :3 and I still mostly watch dramas with fewer episodes (12-20) but there are exceptions like "TMOPB" ans "Eternal love of dream" with around 60 ep's and I love them! <3 They could have even more episodes! xD

I didn't learn any asian languages. >< I love those languages but I just don't have the time and I'm a rather impatient person xD I know some words and can read Hangeul.. but I wouldn't be able to translate it^^

Absolutely. I watch only with eng sub. Even though there are subs in my language and even some dubs in my language. I tried once a dubbed trailer of a drama and already hated it. So many funny scenes get lost because the koreans for example have this special pronunciation that makes funny scenes even funnier! :) And I love the languages too much! I would never watch it dubbed. How boring that would be ><

Anyways..thanks ;)
my comments was also pretty long xD

I needed to get used to the chinese language first too^^ But now I like it. Same with thai. I didn't like the language but now I love it! xD

Oh thats cool! Actually I also thought about subbing from english to my language somewhere but I don't know how and I am sure I can't make the time^^ I'm so busy with university and stuff T_T'

I'm also so glad I found asian dramas! :) But I don't have a problem with the length. ><
