A fun but also emotional ride!
SWWT is a supernatural/romance/comedy drama that is rich in emotions. It's definitely not scary, rather it's fun, lovely and also emotional. I laughed a lot, but I teared up just as much too, especially since I grew on the characters, which are all so different.PLOT
The story is about college student Stone who is supposed to die but his guide (grim reaper/ferrywoman/whatever) pushes his soul back into his body and thus saves his life. Which she actually wasn't allowed to do, so her punishment is to guide 10 lost ghosts to the afterlife in the next 50 days. Our ML, because of this remarkable experience, is now able to see ghosts and helps FL with her task, pulling his friends from his supernatural club along.
STORY
The story was very interesting. So we have a main plot with some twists about the Main Leads, which I absolutely loved. And then there is nearly in every 2nd episode a story about a ghost whom they need to guide. And this was very emotional at times. Most ghost stories were very touching. I also appreciate the issues they pointed out with them. This is a drama about friendship, love, youth and parting, packed in comedy and fantasy.
CHARACTERS
The characters were all individual and very different from each other, and that's exactly the reason I got attached to them so fast. The friendship between the characters of the supernatural club was very nice to watch. I was impressed how close they were to each other and how, despite the comedic elements, they still seemed pretty realistic.
There is the ML Stone, who seems goofy, outgoing and fun. Then there is Zuo Liang, MLs best friend who is an anime fan and hygiene freak and just as crazy as ML. Pei An, who is basically the only normal one among them. Jing Fang, her best friend, who also likes animes and talks in a very soft voice, yet is very strong. Ying Chen who seems like a shy guy but is very strong physically and kind too. And our mysterious FL Xiao Lu of course, the guide to the afterlife, who is kind and courageous (she's alone with that among them lol).
Then there are the black and white afterlife guides, who I also liked a lot! They were also fun to watch! :) I wish they showed us more of them since I found their story very interetsing too. I wish they would make another season just about their story, I'd definitely watch it!
ACTING
I was actually impressed by the acting, especially from the ML. The comedy was definitely a main genre here and they choose over the top acting (ott) for it. And it was surprisingly very well done (for me). I laughed so much at their behavior, the frightened screams, their expressions etc. It was perfect for me, and lovely. On the other hand: the emotional scenes were just as well done. They put a clear line between it, and that's what I liked.
MUSIC
The music made the emotional scenes even more emotional. I absolutely loved the OST they used (https://youtu.be/NeNq5RFYubc). It is such an extremely beautiful song and the opening clip was pretty cool in general, I never skipped it. Even the background music was noticeably awesome and fitting.^^
CRITIC
Even tho I loved the story and characters as well as the acting, I felt like something was missing with the romance. Maybe they should have shown us more scenes to get the feeling of it more. I enjoyed the drama nevertheless.
ENDING
The ending was both happy and sad in a way (in my opinion). I loved how they closed the circle tho (or how its called, haha).
ALL IN ALL
I loved the drama a lot. I laughed, I teared up, and I was interested through the whole drama without wanting to skip anything. I loved the comedy as well as the emotional scenes - and also the romance (main and secondary couple). I got attached to the characters, and I'm sad the drama is over. I enjoyed. <3

I really enjoyed this movie. We got historical, romance and bad boy in a short 1h30min movie without much drama. ^-^I really liked the bad boy ML, damn he was hot and we got to see some nice shots of him. ;)
I also liked the bromance between ML and SML and also the frindship between FL and SFL. There was a love triangle or rather love suqare, but no real side-b*tch. The SLs were totally likable - even for me. They were really very kind. All obstacles were resolved quickly since its just a movie. So it felt rather light and easy to watch.
I also liked the beautiful costumes and scenery. :)
Sometimes some scenes felt a little cringe - but I didn't mind at all. The production wasn't probably the best either since at one scene I could see where the wig was attached, lmao. But such things really don't matter if the movie is good overall.
WARNING: I personally really like "bad boys". But here is a warning for picky, sensitive or easily triggered people: Bad boy means he was dominant, ordered FL around and forced some kisses (pecks) on her.
He acted cocky but like so often was actually really cute. He valued his friendship (ahem! Bromance) and yeah: the ending scene was really adorable! :3
All in all, I liked it really much! Probably gonna rewatch. :)

Sweet and fun :)
Actually this short drama was quite episodic. Although the story seems to continue through the drama, every episode features a topic from the every day life of a kid. Here: the 4 best friends. And the fact that grown up men played the roles of the elementary school kids made the drama both fun and also interesting.
The clothes, the games they played, the soundtracks and their innocence was funny and cute at the same time xD I guess lots of people will be reminded of their days when they were kids. The opening song "Young Japanese" by OKAMOTOS, singing "we are the young Japanese" was the cherry on top. haha.
The ending was a tiny bit disappointing for me. I wish they made a spin off or a special episode showing the characters as adults. All in all the drama was lovely und fun tho. :)

Lovely and addictive :)
Imagine you found an AI robot on the street and brought it home… and then? What would you do with it? Would you get attached to it or would you treat it as a machine only and buy a new one once it's broken?■ Story:
Ka Yim, who works at an AI company, accidentally hits the latest ASI robot Bo on the street. Because he is afraid to get charged, he brings her to his home completely, lol, and hides her. There Bo starts to live with Ka Yim and his family (his dad, grandma and sister) - and changes their lives.
At first they treat her like an object and make her do the daily chores etc. But slowly they grow on her and start to treat her like family, which is very beautiful to see! Bo helps the family members with their personal struggles and forms a bond with them. As Bo has activated her self-learning program, she starts to learn about human feelings and eventually gains her own self- consciousness. She also falls in love with Ka Yim, who has feelings for his supervisor Dorian.
_______________
■ Acting and Main Characters:
I started the drama only because I saw Billy Luk is the Main Lead! <3 I'm actually super scared of AI robots. But Bo and Rocky are not scary at all. They are the loveliest beings whatsoever! I got attached to all characters, because of their realistic portrayal, next to the comedy that is.
I really fell in love with Bo - Ali Lee looks stunning with this hairstyle! ❤️ Her acting is outstanding too! Those smooth but slow movements, her non-blinking eye movements and her slightly monotonous voice were perfect! Then there is the goofy and slightly dorky ML Ka Yim. His sister Ka Yee seems to be bratty at first but she is also a very lovely person if you get to know her. Especially the actors who played the robots did a very praiseworthy job at acting.
________________
■ The conflicts in the drama were:
▪ 1.) The robot-era of course with all the worries. And the question if robots and humans can be together romantically. At this topic, the drama was definitely more fantasy with robots getting feelings etc, which I loved of course.
▪ 2.) The love triangle: Although I really hate love triangles, it didn't bother me that much. It surely was annoying but since I already knew whom he's gonna end up with anyway.. xD And there were other interesting storylines that kept me watching - like the relationship between Bo and the family members :) And Bo in general. <3
▪ 3.) The family relationship: The development of the characters were not at the same pace. Bo's feeling-development happened faster than the feeling-development of the family, which led to some arguments. This was very well made!
▪ 4.) The virus in Bo's (and the other robots) system, which made her turn bad. The robots turned pretty brutal. On the side note, this is exactly my concern regarding humanoid AI usage in the possible future.
The conflicts were all pretty realistic and interesting. And I really loved all the characters <3 It was a fun but also emotional watch. I'm glad I gave it a try! The Romance was more on the slow burn side but that didn't bother me at all because the drama was interesting overall and the main leads were sweet together :3 I found the drama pretty fast paced, although it slowed down a little in the last 10 episodes.
_______________
■ NOTE
The drama is not exactly what the pink poster and unoriginal title imply. It looks like some silly fluffy puppy love but that's really not it. I mean, yes, there is romance but it's also emotional at times. And the relationship between Bo and the family members is a major thing too, which gives off a warm family feeling. And then it also gets a little dark with action and suspense towards the end. Plus, they are not puppies, lol, they are all -30+ adults (luckily).

Time Travel at its best! :3
I loved it! I think it's the first time a japanese drama got me so amazed and excited! It is defenitely one of my favorite Dramas!STORY:
Great storyline! At first I got a little bored at some scenes we already saw. But later on it got better and better and got me hooked up in the story. I think it was neither too long nor too short. It was perfect! It was addicting and interesting. With every episode I anticipated the next!
CAST/ACTING:
Kento Yamazaki is an amzing actor. He is very handsome and very talented. I believed every word he said. He fit his role perfectly. But it was Mugi Kadowaki, who got me surprised. I never watched a drama or movie starring her before. I didn't know her. But she is simply amazing! She didn't play Saiko - She IS Saiko! Saiko had an extremely interesting character. But I loved Otaros character developement the most! He changed slowly but unknowingly through Saiko. And only in the last episode he faced himself. That fitted perfect to his character too. And then there was Masaki Suda! xD He got me curious and at the same time was totally hilarious!
MUSIC:
Even now I listen to Masaki Sudas "Sayonara elegy"! Awesome song! After the 10 episodes I could perfectly sing along :D
ALL IN ALL:
A great Drama! Totally rewatchable! I got a little sad About the ending but happily there is "Todome no Parallel" ;)
Enjoy!

So beautiful (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧
My review of "Eternal Love of Dream" a.k.a "Watch God Dong Hua act like a kitten"Actually I think the main story is the same as in TMOPB. Only the interpretion is different as well as the further story. Feng Jui still falls in love with Dong Hua when he saves her, and she still wants to return the favor by serving him as a maid and follow him to the mortal realm to help his cultivation. But everything else is different. It's more clear, more interesting, more beautiful! Also the cameo of Bai Qai makes this really look like a second season but you can still watch it without having seen TMOPB. The story is more entangled and deep than that. It kept my interest at the highest to figure out those mysteries (like Aranyas Dream).
It is as slow paced as TMOPB at the beginning. The main leads only meet in their real forms like in around ep 20. But that doesn't matter. Again, the story needs the time to unfold - to be told, and I love every single second of it. It's not boring at all. If anything I wish it had even more episodes xD.
AND! In contrast to TMOPB the side chicks aren't as delusional and frustrating! They handled them quite fast and they didn't even got the chance to annoy me xD.
____________________________
ACTING&CHARACTERS:
I dont think I have to mention that the acting is outstanding since they all are very good actors. Vengo Gao is playing 3 different characters and I didn't like the 1 of them but loved the other 2. But it's the same actor, lol. So he is amazing at portraying his roles! And Dilraba was great too! :)
I love the character developement here. I always wanted to see a different side of Dong Hua and I wasn't disappointed. He always acted cold, unreachable and distanced but as as he fell for Feng Jui he behaves like a cute mischievous kitten around her. He is so perfect! But also Feng Jui developed a lot and its amazing to see that.
Si Ming is still my favorite side character. Is it too much to wish for a 3d season about him? >.<

MUSIC ♪
I LOVE the opening. The song is so beautiful. And althought the OSTs aren't my typically taste in music, I love the OSTs! Specially "Pian Pian"! They give the story the mystic and nostalgic feeling it deserves. I think the whole story feels like a secret legend. ♡ The lyrics are so fitting and meaningful - my poor heart..

NOTES
I want to say that I love the themes and character posters. They are so pretty! (❁´◡`❁)

FINAL WORDS
I just can't believe how much I love this drama! I mostly watch dramas with fewer episodes since I get bored easily and TMOPB was an exception. So I thought it would be difficult to be as good as this. But I LOVED this so much! One of the best dramas out there. I need some time to get over it. Hope this wasn't the last one. <3
Watch it! Enjoy

Battle of Lunatics
So the drama is about the corrupt detective Soo Yeol, whose bad actions start to get interrupted by the mysterious "K", who is righteous and calls himself a hero, thus bringing trouble to our ML Soo Yeol. Soon he, and the audience, finds out that K is Soo Yeols alter ego/2nd personality. It's a fictional crime-action drama, close to fantasy, with lots of fun! :)The best thing about this drama were the Main Leads! The interactions and chemistry between Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon were awesome. They are both great actors and fit very well together. In my humble opinion, roles like these are Lee Dong Wook's true calling, I tell ya. He's the hottest when he's crazy. ;)
The first half of the drama felt like a very long introduction. There was this one big drug case going on throughout the first half, which didn't seem like anything impressive or new. It seemed like the drug case was merely the stage for our both MLs performances, which I enjoyed watching a lot, of course. Well, surely everything going on was related somehow tho, but still.
Only the second half of the drama gave way for the main event: ML and his DID, his background story, and his enemy. This was really interesting! The scenes with K and Soo Yeol together were the best. They were fun, dynamic, interesting, crazy and exciting. I loved them A LOT! ❤️
What I disliked was the small bit parts of romance here. It felt super random. In dramas like this one, I actually prefer there not being any romance. Also, the truth is: I prefer Yong's character traits over Gyum's. xD
To sum it up, I enjoyed it a lot. The duration nagged me a bit. The first half felt a little lengthy, but the second half totally hooked me with our MLs story. Overall, it was a nice drama! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

A trip to Crime-Island
A fantastic start! The first half completely blew me away. I’m not used to dramas like this from China, so it was a very pleasant surprise. The story hooked me immediately and kept me on the edge of my seat for about two-thirds of the series:
Han Chuan, our cop main lead, is looking for his missing sister and ends up shipped off to an island to work. The work, of course, is illegal: there are scammers, trafficers and other scum. He pretends to be one of their kind as to not get dicovered, and secretly searches for his sister and also tries to contact his collegues outside. The drama shows some graphic violence, but only like 3-5 scenes, the rest is pretty much safe to watch, even for the weak-hearted, I'd say.
The acting of the cast ranges from decent to unexpectly outstanding, especially from the ML. Hei Ze was able to show his talent and potential. I was impressed, to say the least. The cast in general was a good choice.
Another strong point was the cinematography. I find those darker, messier and greenish-colored settings so very enchanting tbh. Also, the building and the rooms were really well done. The music was always fitting and supporting the vibe.
There were a few plot points I didn't quite buy tho. Like the handwave at the car b0mb scene or the lucky numbers of the telephone scam. I can't believe the crime-bosses didn't get suspicious of that. Even if they had no proof or didn't know what it means, I definitely would smell something fishy. But okay, I overlook that and believe they had no clue. For the sake of the story development!
I really loved the characters. Our male lead is calm, kind, righteous, courageous, and smart—a true drama hero. I also really liked the cook and four-eyes, two characters who are not what they look like at first.
But my favorite character, sadly, was the wolf in sheeps clothing: Sang Tuo. 💔 It was obvious from the very start that he is the main villain. I mean, look at the poster image, lol. Two people, looking in different directions with different coloring and expressions on their faces. One has to be stupid not to know. So his reveal was neither a real twist nor shocking. Another big hint was when he suddenly pulled out drxgs from his pocket. No one questioned where he got them from. xD Maybe they had other things on their mind at that point, but it was just so obvious.
I loved the relationship between Sang Tuo and Han Chuan. They started as comrades, with Sang Tuo helping ML in this harsh environment, calling him "ge". I know Sang Tuo probably really did like Han Chuan in his own way. That's why he tried so hard to control him to keep him by his side. But even he had to realize Han Chuan would never become like him and would always stand with the law. And sadly, Sang Tuo was equally stubborn and would never turn himself in, as we saw.
And then there were the last 10 episodes or so, which I found rather annoying. For most of the drama, the victims barely got any screen time, but suddenly Sang Tuo’s last scam victims got two whole episodes dedicated to themselves. For what? You might guess by now: To get to our emotions. To show just how bad Sang Tuo is and how pitiful (justified) the victims were. To highlight how horrible those scams can be and what they do to people. It was all to convince us that there was no other way: Sang Tuo had to d!e. I knew it by then already, but I still hoped they would make him redeem himself in prison. But nope.
But hey, that's what you get when you fall in love with the villain: only pain and sadness. lol.
What I found ridiculous was the last scene: the cops happily smiling and then a cut to the chinese flag, lol. Yeah yeah, I get it.^^
All in all, this drama was short but had incredible quality. It was an easy and highly entertaining watch for me. Just I was disappointed with the ending, but I am not surprised since it's China. Believe me, if the ending would have been different, I would have rated this even higher. ..
If you can live with this kind of ending, then I definitely 💯% recommend everyone to watch this little gem. If you are looking for a bromance, then this might not be it, but the drama is very interesting, so still give it a chance if you like the crime-genre.

Weird but interesting - yet not for everyone^^
It took me a few episodes to get used to this drama. To the humor, which was dark, bloody and also more on the dumb-funny side. And to to all the blood... that was a little much. The vibes in general reminded me of a parody. :DBut after I figured out what's going on, I actually liked it. There was one "case" per episode, and they were pretty interesting. There was a twist at the end of each case to which I was always looking forward to.
I also liked the ML. After the first half they added some depth to his character but the drama itself is neither deep nor serious.
Still, there were lots of things that didn't make sense. But somehow I feel like most of it was intentional. Like they used it as their "style". The last episode was especially senseless. On the other hand, everyone can decide for themselves what it might mean...or if it has any meaning at all.^^ It makes you question the whole drama tho xD You decide ~
The review and comments on this drama are quite negative. But I'm glad I wasn't influenced, and gave it a try. I was pretty much invested even. Didn't skip anything. It was interesting for me.
Though, the humor and also the violence are definitely not for everyone. Be aware.^^

Very beautiful!
What a heavy topic... but it's a very beautiful movie :)It had melo vibes and a very great message. I have lots of thoughts about it and it also made me do some research.
What I liked the most were the characters and the story. The only thing I didn't like was that it was too short.
● I have a kinda splitted opinion on the HIV topic. It surely hits very hard getting this diagnosis. But I also think it's sometimes a case if irresponsibility. Just because you know someone really well doesn't mean you can assume he is clean and healthy. Thats got nothing to do with each other. And especially not with trust. !Please guys, always use protection! On the other hand I feel really bad for them... so... I'm not sure how I feel about this topic.
● The characters:
The MOM, OMG Jun's mom! I loved her and I wanna give her a hug. She was not like most parents in BLs at all. She clearly didn't like her son being gay... but she didn't say anything and just let him be. And this was also kinda sad. Jun is more the rebellious and impulsive character so he did his own thing and they didn't really communicate. And this of course makes it hard for the mom to understand. Her social environment wasn't the best either. Her friend still thought there is a cure for homosexuality. As we saw, this is all a matter of education and understanding. But looking at Jun's character, he probably didn't take the time to slowly talk with his mom. How can she understand then? So they were just living past each other, both not being happy.
And Michael was the opposite of Jun. Very kind and understanding. He took the time to actually talk to Jun's mom and treat her as family... this was so heartwarming! *sobs*. And this was what changed her... what she said in the last scene to Michael.. really brought me to tears. <3
And since Jun and Micheal are so different from each other - they match really well together. Giving each other what the other is lacking. :)
●The only thing I didn't like was that the movie was too short. It started more in the middle of Jun and Micheals relationship so I didn't really feel the depth of their relationship... like.. how serious, how far they are. I'd also love to see the whole story of them, how they met, etc. And also I would have loved to at least see some flashbacks of Jun's childhood with his parents. There seemed to be going on a lot. And in this movie the relationship between mother and son would be extremely interesting. So it's sad they didn't show any of that.
_____________
● The ending:
Very happy ending :)...under the circumstances that is. Showed a lot of tolerance and development.
And because I'm also just a simple girl: daaaang, Jun is so hot xD
● All in all it was a very beautiful and touching movie! Wouldn't have minded it if the movie was a few hours longer.^^ I'd definitely recommend.

Light-hearted with nice chemistry!
The drama was about Princess Lui Ling who fell in love at first sight with commander Shen Yan, and thus she started to pursue him. And that’s pretty much it xD There were also some family feud and fight for power going on in the background, but the main interest-catcher and focus was clearly on the Leads and the romance. But I don’t mean that in a negative way: Because of this, the drama appeared very light-hearted and entertaining. There were not many frustrating scenes or characters etc. Possible trouble was always played low and resolved fast. The interactions of the Leads were fun to watch, and didn’t leave any boring minute, because the pace was just right for the 22 well-used episodes.
An exception were the last couple of episodes, which were a little messy. Some things felt a little rushed. I assume they must have cut out quite some scenes here and there. Plus, the investigation part of the drama was a little boring overall.
The acting of the Leads was really good. The respective emotions of both characters were visible and understandable, without being over the top. They also had very nice chemistry. You could feel it in the air between them.
The Female Lead was sassy, had a princess-like temper (which I liked btw) and was flirty. But she was also kind, and had her own package of backstory to carry. I really liked the actress and the portrayal of the character. The acting was pretty normal – not OTT. You could also call her a little playful, as she was the one who tried her best to win Shen Yan’s attention.
Shen Yan, on the other hand, appeared cold from the outside, but is actually quite passionate. He was always pretty laid back, but I melted whenever he actually flirted back. He is definitely the ‘forever’-type.
Noticeable was also Lady-in-waiting Xu, who had a calm, intelligent and warm-hearted character. I absolutely adored her friendship with the FL. However, FL’s maid had a more cliché personality. The crown prince was pretty cool too, and even Tuo Ba Lie was kinda fun to watch lol. There were no too annoying characters, except the Lu family for which it was intended reasonable. The drama also included some cute side-couples.
All in all it was a not-so-serious, pretty light-hearted and fun drama, with likeable characters and nice chemistry. An easy watch, I’d recommend! :)

Beautiful! ❤️
Storywise it wasn't much happening. The 'cases' weren't anything big either. But the main point was clearly Toris and Sakakis relationship. And I enjoyed it a lot! It kinda had a slice of life feeling, which I actually don't watch much but here it was definitely interesting! It felt like they live in their little own world and we got a sight of it. ^-^The tags say "extreme friendship", lol. Some might see it as friendship, some as Bromance and some might even say there is definitely something romantic between them. I think it's free for anyone to interpret. The important thing is that they will always be together. They clearly need each other and this was also very visible in the drama. It was very beautiful to watch.
I really liked Tori as a character! I got attached to him easily and the actor did a very good job! :)

Children for sale ?️✨
Wow. First of all I need to say: the story was awesome. The idea of an illegal organisation experimenting with DNA to create the "perfect" children and then sell them to the highest bidder -no matter what kind of people they are-, giving opportunity of refund and disposal, is both fascinating and traumatizing at the same time. Now, take the surviving "defects" and have them go up against this organization. I can't describe how intrigued I was by the plot. The story managed to catch and hold my attention throughout all 8 episodes. ❤️
Another strong point of the drama was the cast. The cast was noticeably hot – especially with DEX, hahaha. 🔥 I heard people say the acting wasn't that good, but I personally didn't think so. The cinematography was also very nice, I loved the old buildings the defects were hiding in, for example.
All fine so far, now let's move on to the BUTs: 😕
Some things were just too hard to believe. Like, a group of kids easily getting into the building of the villains. A quite big organization, funded and supported by some higher-ups. And you're telling me the security is that bad? Of an organization that does illegal and immoral stuff, aka crimes? They don't need to be careful? lol. It was way too effortless. Or how FL just smuggled herself under the other kids in the last episode. So they just need to show the member cards and will be let in? No need to check faces or something? We were not talking about 100 kids, but maybe 10-20. If I run an organization like that, I would make sure there would be no security holes. 👀☠️ Face-verification is a must. They should just hire me as risk management consultant. xD
But my biggest pain was: the drama was too short. 8 episodes weren't enough time for everything that was going on. I would have wanted more scenes of the kids individually. To get more attached to every single one of them. And watch more of them as a group to see their bonding. They were so busy all them time, we didn't even see much of them living together (before shit went down lol). I actually liked all the characters! That's why I would have been happy to see more of them.
Someone pointed out how we didn't even see them planning their next steps. They just went ahead and succeeded lol. Maybe they actually did plan but they didn't show us. They left it to our imagination. So, after all, it looked a bit ridiculous. If they would have added like 5 minutes of them planning together, things would not only seem more realistic, but we would also get more scenes of them together at the same time. Two birds with one stone.
And then, there were also a few deaths I was really angry about 🤣😡. But oh well. First one kid of the group. It was to be expected that one had to be sacrificed for the dramatic effect, but it still hit hard tbh. And then my sweet Jung Hyeon lol. He was my favourite character. And I swear, he was about to change sides. He already wavered when he looked slightly worried at the little Ah Hyeon. I felt it. Just a bit more and he would have given up his career and switched sides. ~ *delulu is the solulu* ~ HAHAHA
Last point: Sometimes I got the feeling of watching a series for teenagers. Which is weird, because the age recommendation is 18+, as it gets violent and disturbing. I can't explain it. It's just a feeling I got in some specific scenes. But don't ask - I can't recall :D
➡️ Anyway, to sum it up:
It might not look like it because I ranted so much, but this drama was VERY entertaining. The story was awesome, tho they could have done a lot more with it if they just stretched it a bit - make it 10 or 12 episodes maybe. Dex was hot kekeke. And yeah, it's a Korean drama I actually finished and enjoyed til the end. 🙌🏻 Making this my 3rd! Korean drama in 2025. Wow. 👏🏻
And maybe, just maybe, the drama is showing us a possible future. "Designer Babies" is not something born from the authors wild fantasy, but a research that is actually happening - even if still at the beginning and very controversial.
What are your thoughts on this? Let me know!

A worthy adaptation! ❤️
I absolutely adored it.Firstly, I'm super amazed that the drama is so close to the novel. Really, all major events that are important for the stroy were included! Less important stuff, fillers or elongations were cut or shortened.
You could say the drama is shorter, cleaner and softer than the novel, making it less frustrating lol. It totally kept the essence (and more), making it a worthy adaptation of one of my favorite novels. I love both, novel and this drama, equally. 🥰
So the story is about a guy who wants to take revenge on his ex gf by seducing her current bf. Yeah, you're asking now: who would even come up with an idea like that? None other than our MC, Wo Suo Wei! hahaha.
Wu Suo Wei one of the few characters I actually genuinely find funny and fun to watch especially. All because of his dramatic ass being stubborn and scheming. 😂 And I must say, Zu Yi portrayed him very well! I could see him come to life! Such a delight!
Of course I also loved our Chi Cheng 😘. Tho I found him less intimidating than in the novel. But that is not criticism. Just a remark. Tian Xu Ning did also amazing here 🥰. They matched so well together anyway. <3
I read some people thought the acting wasn't that good (especially of the 2nd leads), and I can't deny it. But it didn't bother me. In this case, I was too absorbed in the story to care. 🤷🏻♀️ The transitions to black were a bit weird ansd I'm sure there were other flaws. But I was mostly blind to them xD
I didn't notice much about the music either. No, I didn't watch on mute, if you're wondering.^^ The music was fitting, but didn't get a spot in my summer playlist - for now.
The quality and cinematography were really good imo. Especially the coloring of the club scene or the very last scene. Or the setting of Wu's old home. They all looked very pretty.
What I love the most about the story, is Wu's development, or 'his road to gay' if I may call it like that hahaha. From "I won't ever be together with a man" to "I can't live without Chi Cheng" is quite a long (and beautiful!) way. It's so fun how he tries to get Chi Cheng attention while trying to keep a physical distance at first. And Chi being irritated but very interested haha.
Packed in such a gorgeous comedy, the story doesn't get boring and keeps you entertained throughout. Of course, later there will also be sad parts, hurtful parts and serious parts. It catches almost all your emotions one after another.
Chai Jidan did another amazing work with this one. This and Addicted are staying in my heart rent-free forever. Thanks ❤️
Now, let's go rewatch hahaha! ;)

Who is Big Mouse?
Big Mouth is a crime/thriller/noir drama about Park Chang Ho, an average lawyer, who suddenly gets framed for being the infamous swindler Big Mouse (BM) – whose identity is unclear. As all evidence is pointing towards him, he is sent to prison, facing all the criminals BM betrayed. The Bad Part:
I hated the first episode. It's your typical introduction episode, introducing the characters and building up the story. I dislike such episodes since I find them incredibly boring. I prefer starting with a bang. So, I skipped a lot in this episode and was about to drop it, but something in the cliffhanger grabbed my attention, and I decided to at least give it a second chance – and watch ep 2 too, not expecting much.
The Fun Part:
The second episode changed everything. I got hooked immediately. The Main Lead, now in prison, decided to get himself killed as he saw no way out of his unfortunate situation. But instead of getting killed, his provoking attitude gained the respect of other inmates, lol. You can't believe how much and how hard I laughed in those few episodes. It was so much fun and I got hella excited. The story also started to get interesting.
The Interesting Part:
Soon everything calmed down and the drama got very intriguing. In order to survive among these criminals, ML started to pretend to be Big Mouse for real, climbing to the top. His whole character changed. While he was an average nice guy and loving husband before, he now had to be strong willed, violent, smart and badass – making a 180 degree turn. And I absolutely loved it. So, after all, this boring and average lawyer had a whole lot of courage inside him. Because that is what it takes to change your attitude from good to bad in front of everyone, and stand eye to eye with the prisoners.
There was a lot of stuff going on throughout the drama. To clear his name, ML also (with the help of his wife outside) tried to find out who the real Big Mouse is. While searching for the truth he came across lots of things, like fight for power, conspiracies, secret labs, crimes, two-faced people, and a whole damn network, etc etc. One clue was Seo's paper that lots of people were after. So what is written in there? Why was he framed, and by whom? Who is real and who is fake? What is even going on? WHO IS BIG MOUSE?
The guessing game about the real Big Mouse was so much fun. But the reveal was not as spectacular as I hoped. Mainly because lots of suspects got cleared one after another, not leaving THAT much options. But the road to the reveal was very entertaining. All the theories me and other watchers came up with… that was definitely worth the watch haha.
My Likes:
So, you probably noticed by now that I really loved the story and the guessing game. And I also loved how prison shaped ML to be a whole different (but sexy lol) person. I especially liked the background music, a lot. I also started to grow on most of the characters. Park Chang Ho, Ji Hoon, Warden Park and Jerry were my absolute favourite characters here! And the whole gang, ya know. While I first thought Lee Jong Suk would not be the best choice for this role, he surprised me with his acting big time.
The final resolve was a little bit easy and maybe a bit fast, but it was also kinda understandable. The actual ending was awesome tho!
My Dislikes:
I first disliked MLs wife, Miho, for being a pretty cliché character straight out of a romcom. I liked her role and character in general, but I just didn’t really love her personality – I found her rather bland and boring. Maybe it was the acting, or idk. I might have preferred a different actress. BUT after like… half of the drama, I started warming up to her. Though, sadly, I never felt their chemistry at all. Even though I never skipped her scenes, as they were important for the story, I was honestly a bit glad she didn't have too much screentime. That’s just my personal opinion tho.
___
All in all, the drama turned out to be very intriguing and kept my attention the whole time (leaving out ep 1 lol). It did not drag at all. One of my favorite dramas of 2022 for sure!
