I personally did not see any hype around the socials for this drama. People came here after its first week of airing and from then on baseless statements kept flying all around just to undermine the storyline and after the emotional rollercoaster eps people started labelling it as a ktrauma and stirred peoples opinions eventually hyping their favs drama that was airing side by side as a real romcom🤷😑
Living in my love next door era forever ! I cannot move on no I won't move on from this drama for a long long time. The sheer serotonin boost that this drama got me was something I haven't experienced in ages🤭! My entire insta feed , my mind and even my heart has been captured by Jung Haein and Jung Somin , am not complaining tho😂. Have seen plenty of kdrama couples but this Eotte-Eotte duo has got me floored by their insane chemistry , it all just seems so natural with them🤗.
Getting emotionally vulnerable hand in hand with the characters to getting overriden with joy cuz of their party party era I have experienced all sorts of human emotions in the past 8 weeks.
This is not your typical rainbows and sunshine romcom it is a sorrow in the night but joy comes running the next morning type of drama. Realism strings through the entire storyline and is driven by the raw , flawed characters. Each character is intricately embroided with ample amount of chaos and love in this tapestry of life and am glad to be a part of this family❤️.
Thankyou for accompanying me the last 8 weeks. Never have I felt this much attachment to a drama ever before and trust me as I state this for I have watched nearly 300 dramas over the years and yet Love Next Door managed to secure a permanent room in my heart🥺❤️!
Last but not the least our JungJung couple thankful for your bond . Your chemistry , your compatibility is so precious to me. I was cheering for SeungRyu and now I will be rooting for our Eotte-Eotte couple wholeheartedly💜 chemistry so good that it will be a waste not to transcend it from reel into reality. I love the cast and I thank the writer for writing such heartwarming piece. In a world where people are addicted to fastpacing be it dramas or life the writer made this story to remind us to take some breaths , take a healing walk and enjoy the journey instead of running at different gears to achieve something that won't even matter at the end. It is so RAW and REALISTIC and that what makes it a great drama. It breaks my heart to see this beautiful drama end. I understand for some it might not be their cup of tea but to some LND was like a chilled icewater after a hot and exhausting day ❤️.
P.S : Ep : 15 last scene when Seokryu proposed in the sweetest way and Choisseung accepted it in the sweetest way and the way they kissed in the sweetest way along the sweetest voice of Jung Haein's OST playing in the background was everything to me ngl I teared up🥺! (I really hope they end up together irl😭)
There are mindblowing dramas , highly rated dramas , annoying to the point of dropping dramas and worsely rated dramas but admist all that there are only a few percentage of heartwarming dramas that goes beyond numbers and ratings. Love Next Door is such a drama for ME. I came in without any expecations and I choose to stay in this beautiful Love Next Door land even after the end. I mean I honestly dunno what is it about this drama that makes it so special but it feels like a home to me. A home I took shelter in during the weekends after a long exhausting week. I may have shed a tear or two after the articles about their final goodbyes that just came out. At the end ratings , indefinite hate and a planned sabotage to undermine the viewers watch won't matter , the only thing that will matter is how LND was like a fresh breath of air to those people who actually loved watching it. Thankyou Love Next Door you will forever be etched in my memories❤️!

The unnecessary hate took a toll on me and I had to open an account just for the sake of venting! If we take Seoryu's food analogy : if you and your friends went in a famous place to have dinner , ya'll ordered a bunch of dishes to try. The dishes arrive and you took a bite off of one dish and you didn't like it yet you gave it a 2nd try just to be sure and you still didn't get the taste that you had expected meanwhile one of your friend tasted it , liked the dish and devoured it so in this case the most idle thing to do is try other dishes and eventually you will find a dish that will get you hooked rather than calling for the manager or chef to complain about a dish that particularly was not for you but others enjoyed it 🙂!
