this is great and funny and living up to my expectations

haven't gotten into a drama since I finished LBFD and it's hitting those same relationship dynamics of a sweet / dumb girl with evil jerk - so good

and the ML chen zhe yuan is ahhh hot!! and i've loved his acting in previous works

i think they are concerned about the birth rate / looking tough and more martial like (and the usual homophobia and banning things that women enjoy)

it's so depressing and dumb

really hoping greed will eventually win out since danmei is so popular and a huge money maker for both studios and the stars...but probably nothing till next year at least :(

I'm going to miss this show so much, it was so good. It's one of the few 30+ episode cdramas that never became draggy or boring. It was paced wonderfully and everything about it was just fantastic.

I would totally watch a spin off show of the emperor - the actor was so fun playing that role and i'm going to miss him

wait this looks so amazing - i had no clue about this series (though it's got two of my fav actressess... i haven't read anything by jin yong yet), but now i'm totally in - i hope it's good, i'm so in the mood for a good wuxia

Because I like to read the comments to know if a 60 episode show is worth continuing, I'm on episode 17 and thinking about dropping it. There's a lot of complaints about it, so taking five minutes to read is going to save me 40 hours...
The original poster was confused about the ratings and compared the two shows, I, watching and rated both of them, left a comment regarding why there might be a difference in the ratings.

There isn't enough hours in the day and there are a lot of cdramas, I think people should be allowed to compare shows (especially in the same genre and airing at the same time!) and express both positive and negative opinions.

Because LBFAD is really cool and unique and is doing some things with the art direction and style that I haven't seen before.
This show is exactly like Eternal Love / Ashes of Love, and I feel asleep watching an episode lol

Yes! I'm also happy the rating is slowly going up. This show is an absolute gem and any xianxia fans should be watching it an enjoying it. And both actors are doing a great job.

The cgi is bad - compared to love between fairy and devil, this is not even close in terms of production quality

This was so hilarious, the ML was a DREAM and if you love villains, totally excellent! It's short, but really good for the obviously low budget.

Soundtrack makes it super dramatic haha

Anyone complaining of the CGI hasn't watched enough xianxia dramas. The quality of this (and art style) is better than Immortal Samsara (which I'm enjoying as well)
