Ikr? I finished Scent of Time and a few weeks later was watching Love Me, Love My Voice. Then when I checked I…
Shows tend to be "clumped." They will put shows on a hold for YEARS and then release them all very quickly when an actress / actor has a hit that comes out to take advantage of the short term "heat." It doesn't mean they were all filmed at the same time.
Sometimes you get a year or two of no shows coming out, and then you can have show with the same actress / actor out at the same time (recent examples in 2023 are Bai Lu or Wei Zhe Ming)
I don't know why i think iqiyi stopped uploading in youtube 😕
usually iqiyi teases the first couple of episodes and makes you pay for their sub to watch more, it's not like tencent or the others where they stick them on youtube for free
I really love this show, it’s so cute and funny and lighthearted. Good for a break after watching more angsty intense shows.
It’s one of those shows where it looks like the cast had a really fun time filming it. It doesn’t take itself seriously, but and the characters are all endearing but hilariously incompetent so far.
oh boy. at the end of this both SF4 and SF6 will have low ratings on here because both sides are leaving low ratings…
It's really annoying lately. I feel like a year ago everything started at higher than an 8 but now I feel like every show starts at like a 7.8, with brand new accounts leaving nasty comments. And you are right, it would be one thing if it was fair, but seems like at the same time every Kdrama is rated like over an 8.5 even with people bitching in the comments.
I do not hesitate to get mad at a drama and start ranting if it sucks, but at least I watch 10 episodes to form an opinion. This review bombing at the start is unfair to people that use this site.
A clarification is necessary. There are people in comment who forget the basics of rom com and especially with…
"Ruo Nan that I have been since her beginnings is a great shy who refuses even to kiss"
this i just don't understand...I keep seeing it brought up as excuses for different actors / actresses , but my opinion is people that don't feel comfortable kissing shouldn't do rom coms. It's frustrating and makes the interactions weird (the Flinch or the Still Freeze / Dead Fish). I don't expect a lot of kissing in historical or xianxia or action thrillers, but modern adult romances, where the characters are in their twenties...and the co star is eye candy super hunk...
And if they think doing steamy kiss scenes will harm their career, that makes no sense, I feel like it is the opposite... Bai Lu is one of the top actresses right now because she always delivers chemistry with her MLs. Same with Zhao Lusi.
I think Love me Love my Voice kinda set the new standard for a Slow Burn Romance - it really ramped up at the back half and the payoff from shy girl and slow burn was really great.
It's a really good show, and I'm emotionally invested in the characters and their relationship so I just hope we get steamy kisses later!
My favorite character is Xiao Kai Zhong's. Like he is a coward and tricky but ahhh it's so relatable! Not everyone is their best self when put in a life or death situation.
I hope he survives the entire time.. I can't tell if he is going to betray the group later or have a huge character arc.
Really well done show, I like how the games are a pressure cooker for personal conflicts. Episode 8 creeeepy!!
Dropping this. The drama keeps hinting that FL loves ML but her actual actions with consequences shows she cares…
She said today in the latest episode "work is more important that love," after the ML has been going above and beyond to treat her right. Which I get being a career woman, but.... why do she need to say that to his face??? It's just mean and bitchy just to put him in his place, and why can't she at least attempt to balance work and a relationship like uhhh most people that work?
I kept hate watching this to see if it gets better, but I prefer a FL that doesn't flinch during kiss scenes. He should dump her, she is never going to be happy or treat him with respect.
Or the whole archery thing - like he uses it an excuse as a sweet flirty date, and she of course slightly humiliates him. I didn't find it romantic, it was just a way to prove she doesn't need a man to teach her, which ugh okay - we get it, she's so amazing...
I'm done as well, better to watch both Sword and Fairies instead.
i want who watch the both airing cp, to comapre it mainly for the story, characters and interactions more than…
Honestly they are both really good if you like this genre, I think it depends if you are looking for a lying, cunning ML with a sweet naive gullible FL (SF with Xu Kai) or a sweet naive gullible ML with a lying, cunning FL (SF4 this show).
It is too early to say which one is better, so go with what pairing you like more. It's honestly fun watching them both at the same time, since the characters are flipped.
My heart is falling for this show, because there is nothing like a naive young hero just saying the most romantic things to his FL because he has no idea about how the world works. And the music in this is REALLY GOOD and adds to the emotions which the actors are absolutely bringing it - they have great chemistry so far.
He is so great in this! Like ahhh I finally get why he has such a huge following.
I wasn’t going to even watch this one but I can’t stop hahah
He's is one of my favorites right now.
Zhang Miao Yi, she has chemistry with all her MLs in which I have watched her.
Chemistry is not based on age but on acting ability and these two make the show worth watching. It's not like a Allen Ren drama hahah.

I love the reference to the Bad Kids in Episode 4

I prefer him all worked up hahaha
He wasn't there! We don't know for sure!
Episode 11 and 12 feels like it’s a reverse harem and I absolutely love it.
