It cracks me up when I occasionally check on the shelved BL series. It's like a reverse curse, all the actors get more and more famous and popular as time goes by. When they eventually release these series (I have faith!) , they'll be even more of huge deal and attention grabbing...
This was good - and I really enjoyed it, but could have been better. Cast and director was great, but there was a lot of padding. I wish it was a little "spicer" - with more focus on the main couple and his coworkers.
I skipped the hockey couple and it didn't matter at all - it would have been interesting if they did something with the "spoiled annoying sister" concept. It seems like everyone else were having actual life problems to deal with but they were in fantasy land and it didn't fit at all.
I also wish there would have been some lessons learned or personality changes for SY's mom - like she was HORRIBLE to kick her son out at his lowest point like that... and then made it about her feelings being hurt. But it cut to happy family and back to enabling her nonsense. I felt so bad for the dad - he should have left the mom for his nice neighbor haha.
omg his mother is trash in epi 28 ..so unrealistic, like she didn't get it.. then suggests dating apps and bs...
oh the mother gets worse - she gets mad later and basically turns it into a "well I was hurt by this because I thought we were best friends and how can this not be all about ME ME"
Is this a noona romance?? ๏̯͡๏ I saw that the actress is 8 years older than XZ. I don't like noona romances…
yes it's 100% a noona
why don't you like noona romances? i personally love the genre as the FL is always way more mature and professional (and better dressed) than a typical romance with a very young woman and the MLs are always treating them like queens
I seriously hated the way she tried to undermine his self-confidence and faith in himself. That is a horrible…
it's enraging - she's mad / bitter at her husband for not making a lot of money, so she projects it on her son as well. Difference is that JB is a successful career woman and doesn't need a rich guy - she would have stayed married to the ex if she was that shallow.
The only one in this show that gives a damn about what JB wants and makes her happy is SY. I really hope they don't let all these shitty people's opinions cause them to breakup. "Oh you can't buy her expensive things" - what the hell JB loves roadside meals and is touched by the art SY makes!
i'm afraid we'll get another dose of suffering instead of the sweet and long-awaited moments of interaction between…
yeah i think i might take a break and wait for all the episodes to come out - and just fast forward to the end if they decide to make the audience suffer for no good reason.
there is no good reason for them to break up at this point, and just like the hockey couple - i don't have to put up with it hahaha .
What is the deal with hockey boy still trying to convince his uncle to go to the hospital where JB's dad is? He…
ahah i just watched that and came here to scream about it
what the hell - that's so shitty, like they are obviously together, and he is trying to break up a couple at this point - with a guy that you know is a annoying and she doesn't like. And SY has done nothing but treat her like a queen...and god his uncle in private moments is major red flags with his attitude.
is this one worth it, please? how is it so far? i'm thinking of starting it once it's done airing, but i'm still…
it's a frustrating show with a lot of angst and not a lot of "Sugar sweet", and we aren't finished yet so it's unclear if it's slow burn with a pay off or no burn with them getting together in the last five minutes of the last episode (i'm getting nervous... we are nearing the end stretch here)
the core romance is so good - when the leads are together, especially when they are collaborating on work projects it's magic, like 10/10. They are both really good actors and it gives strong emotional reactions.
but there is a way too much screen time by other couples - especially her annoying sister. At this point it is totally worth it, but 100% skip what you don't like
Perhaps she dates the Fang guy, the leads separate, there is a time jump, she no longer dates the Fang guy, the…
that would be really disappointing. if you like and get along with someone, you don't date other people and separate for three years. that'll kill this show for me, and i'm really loving it so far. :(
Any theories on the THREE YEAR time jump? I was hoping it would just be a jump from a happy ending to a still…
ohh i didn't realize there was going to be a three year time jump
I was really hoping all the obstacles were going to let them have smooth sailing for at least the last couple of episodes
i don't think time skips are romantic without a really good reason (immortal xianxia get a pass since they are immortal). There is no obstacle for them being together, except she feels embarassed dating a younger guy.
This is the show we should have been watching all along. How many hours have been wasted on the hockey trio? I…
she's obviously using him so she has an excuse to be with her male friend all the time but she isn't smart enough to realize that is her motivation
sister really is a piece of work, FL gives her independence and tells her not to meddle in her life, and all she does is meddle. I really hope she gets taught a lesson like the ex by the end of this.
this drama is exactly what people have been begging for - the had some problems and they had a mature discussion about strength and weaknesses and resolved issues with healthy communication!
I really love her - she looks super cute as always but more mature.
I think this is my most anticipated drama (that has a chance of getting released soon).
Please please please october please!!
now i want Bai Lu x Wei Zhe Ming project
oh well to each his own.

classic narcissist behavior - i can't stand her

and it's cute, not high budget, but it's well done for what they are working with
