I went to Wikipedia etc. But after 10 minutes, I gave up, therefore I asked here. You clearly have thought about it, and came to the same conclusions I have. Also, giving your daughter as a colleteral for not paying rent? Marrying women off. It sounds and looks like this should be around 100 years back.

Thank you. There was also talk about the Mala period (father of Kaew talked about the gun he bought at that time in Bangkok. I googled but could not find anything about that. Only the hotpot, haha. Any idea in what time period this must have been?
I have watched the two episodes out now and I am well entertained. I had to get used to this style of BL when I was watching episode 1. But after having rewatched that, I am totally invested in the story. And very excited for next week. I am allready a bit sad that it only has 6 episodes. So, things have to move fast!

That is why I wrote for which region. I use VPN a lot. Depending on what streaming services i use, i often have to use VPN. Where I pretend to be in the UD, Singapore, Turkey etc. :)

You're right, I missed the "If"—sorry about that.
Just to clarify, are you certain you haven't edited your comment? I find it quite unusual that I would have responded to your comment in the way I did, I typically don't misread such things and comment like that, otherwise I would not have started my first sentence like that.
actor who plays Nie Xiao Long (nxz big brother) for those interested. i added his profile here on mdl just waiting…
Thanks. He looks so mature and handsome in his pictures. I guess, because I haven't seen it, that he is not talking about his role in this series on his Weibo.
Episode 4 was truly a good episode. It’s not your typical BL series, which makes it feel unique. I really love the setting and the gritty atmosphere, it’s completely different from what I usually watch, and I enjoy it a lot. It is indeed a revenge show coupled with BL elements, instead of a serie like weak hero class. Which is great, but we have to imagine that they are becoming boyfriends.
Sun, having spent three years in prison, isn’t wasting any time now. He’s determined to get close to Peace, even if it means talking someone down from jumping off a bridge.
This show has quickly become one of the most underrated BL series out there. It's truly a hidden gem. The special episode exceeded all my expectations following the finale. Both characters had their flaws but have grown so much. The story remains realistic, couples fight, and that’s natural. Given their backgrounds and Min Jun’s anxiety, it’s remarkable that they even managed to be together.
Jin Hwan’s love for Min Jun was clearly evident in this special, he’s genuinely considerate and patient with him. However, when Min Jun oversteps boundaries, Jin Hwan is not shy about expressing his discomfort. Min Jun, who used to be afraid to speak up, has grown to be more vocal, especially when it comes to Jin Hwan. Although he sometimes struggles to control his words, he later reflects on his actions and apologizes.
The chemistry between the actors and their acting are amazing. The episode even featured playful sexual jokes between them, adding to the fluff and charm. I find myself wanting to rewatch this series often, it's that good.
😭👍Did us a favour thereI'm not going to judge it because English is also not my first language but REALLY?!!🕊️…
I had to look up what glazing even means, to give you a insight in how good or bad my English proficiency is, haha. I tried to think that Nu, the character, is 18 years old, so maybe for Thai standards, his English is pretty good? I mean, I have a strong accent myself. But it did not sound outstanding, like the professor said it did.
