I really enjoyed Perfect Marriage Revenge- definitely one of my faves. The revenge was ongoing and the leads suffered very few losses, with massive wins. I guess that's why it's the perfect revenge. I wish they had made it 16 episodes, though. Some things were rushed towards the end.

Oh yeah, I remember. If it flops, Jung Bae will not be saving her. Maybe her son-in-law can 🤣🤣🤣.
So Nam Jin has lost some leverage but he got what he wanted- the marriage.

I also wonder. Maybe things are changing. But even if the parents/grandparents treat the child really well- you will always get some relatives- cousins, aunts or uncles- who will only be too happy to remind them that they don't share blood 😪- especially if the adoptive parents die. All those inheritance issues etc.

But truthfully, it's not just in Korean culture. Many other cultures cling on to the fact that blood is thicker than water. I have friends who have refused to adopt because they want to have their own children, even though they are a little older.

It's worse for orphans- especially where the parents or families are unknown- some cultures believe that their unknown backgrounds make them unpredictable as they can inherit some traits which are dangerous and difficult for the new family to manage.

I also know of some women who opt to leave their child with their parents so they can re-marry. They don't want to burden their new husband with another man's child. In other cases, some women harm their child.

It takes a really strong parent to want to adopt and make it known to their family and friends that the adopted child is as good as blood.

I see many kdramas are trying to normalise adoption and remove the stigma from orphans- I hope it's working.

I can understand why So Woo didn't confirm that Sang A was being petty. He doesn't want people gossiping about them and wants to keep things about the work. But am sure a lot of people already suspect Sang A. It would be great if Sang A's pettiness costs Jin Architecture future projects- like So Woo's Mom's upcoming project. If they put in a bid, maybe someone can tell her what happened with the competition, leading her to reject Jin Architecture. Then Seon Ju can return the wet wipes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I think So Woos's Mom will hire SunWoo Architecture so that she can be close to So Woo and discover that he is her son by accident. Or maybe her private investigator is really that good and can trace him🤷🏽‍♀️ .

I was surprised that Soon Ae was able to repay the money.
We have not heard about the K-Culture project in a while.

Jung Bae should have done better with regards to Tae Ri. It will be sad if he treats Seon Ju's daughter better than he treats Tae Ri. He should love them both equally- Seon Ju will make sure of it

😂 I think they have only said his name twice- I don't even remember it. This one is easier.

Is it just me or was this episode all over the place? We might be feeling the effects of the cut episodes. I think they tried to squeeze two episodes into one. It just cut from one scene to the next- there were no smooth transitions.

That being said- SunWoo Architecture lost the competition because Sang A gave them the lowest score. Nam Jin told her to be fair but Sang A was not having it. So Woo's Mom just bought some land for redevelopment- maybe she will be in need of some toilets? Or architects in general? This could be Seon Ju and So Woo's big break.

We also got our first kiss for the leads❤❤, and they are becoming an official couple.
It was sad to hear that Tae Ri was afraid that if he got another Mom, she might fight with his Dad and leave too 🥺.
Jin Ju's son does not want a guy like Tae Sung as a stepdad🤣🤣🤣.
Looks like Jin Ju and Tae Sung only kissed- no babies were made 🤭. However, Jin Ju does not remember a thing 🤣🤣. It was hilarious when Tae Sung excitedly told her that she didn't seem to have been on a break for too long 🤣🤣. She thought he was referring to her karaoke skills- he was referring to her kissing skills🤣🤣🤣.
(We got to see how the can of beer ended up on the floor😂.)

And finally, never thought I would ever thank her, but thank you Nam Jin's mom for helping to open Jung Bae's eyes. Sang A's re-marriage might be the best thing to ever happen to him.

Looks like Sang A is moving back home after another fight with her mother-in-law. Will Nam Jin follow?

And wow- Squinters did not ask for money this time- just an occasional dinner with his daughter and ex-wife. Could it be that he actually invested the money this time🙊?

Did Sang A really just go to So Woo's place to gloat and didn't even bother to ask about her son😦🤦‍♀️?

I think they tend to do a good job with the castings, regardless of age. They do the same with Chinese dramas- they can cast women in their 30s or 40s and have them act as teenagers or as someone in their early 20s. The male leads can be 10+ years younger in real life. And it actually works because they have great genes and look youthful.
I have stopped looking at real life ages of the cast members because it can distract me from enjoying the experience. If they can look the part, and are incredibly good actors, I say why not, go for it👌.

There was a kdrama I once watched where one character had never been married but she found love in her late 40s. She got married and pregnant by accident- everyone thought she was going through menopause. Her niece was pregnant too so it was funny when they both gave birth around the same time😂.

If the editing is that bad, Tae Sung can just release the raw footage- depending on how much he is willing to tolerate.

I think they are supposed to be late 30s or early 40s. Tae Sung said he removed 10 years from Jin Ju's age for the job. I think pregnancy because Jin Ju will refuse to be involved with him romantically, otherwise. Pregnancy will force them to be together. But after Mi Ju's faulty pregnancy
tests, Jin Ju will be in denial until she goes into labour 🤣🤣

What happened with Phoenix 2020?

1) Will they remember?
2) Will there be a surprise pregnancy?

I hope you are right about the competition and they win because the preview of them at the train tracks and discussing how Nam Jin and Sang A still want to frustrate them, is not promising. But they have faced a few losses so it's time for a win, and with only 30ish episodes left, their company needs to become a success soon. With all the revelations coming, they cannot be spending all their time in the office.

So did Nam Jin's mom just forget about the swaddling clothes now that Nam Jin is married?

Jung Bae mentioned how they are now short-staffed- the company won't be able to keep up with the competition. And Sang A said So Woo was not working on many projects before she left. Doesn't she understand that losing someone as experienced as So Woo means that the company will be forced to reduce the number of projects they take on due to a lack of capacity?🤦‍♂️ She is not very bright for an executive director 🙆‍♂️.

She was good. I wonder why they killed her off after leaving her in a coma for more than half the show. Maybe the actress didn't like the script. She is the one I thought would end up with the FL's brother, after a redemption arc.

Indeed. It had so much potential but they ruined it. They didn't swap back, one of them died, and the FL's brother ended up with the 2ML's sister 🤦‍♂️. He should have been with the other lady who swapped bodies with his sister. They had really great chemistry before the swap.
Don't get me started on the ML- he really didn’t have a role. He was not needed- and the time jump at the end 🤦‍♀️

Yeah- it would be difficult- unless they submitted independently. The only issue is that they were on Jin's time when they developed it. Or maybe the Dubai people can insist on only working with the people who developed the proposal🤷🏽‍♀️.
