Maybe Mi Rae just doesn't want to break her son's heart, but when she was sitting with him and he mentioned Hyeon Jae being away on a trip, again, I thought that would have been the perfect opportunity to tell him the truth. But she chose not to. So there must be something more to it. And having a dead uncle come back to life is hard to explain to a kid😂😂. So it's better to keep him in the dark. But does it mean that the school doesn't know? It was also all over the news so some of his schoolmates' parents must know. Strange that he is completely unaware.

If Hyeon Jae comes back, I hope whoever saved him reaches out to Mi Rae, first, and she will keep it a secret from everyone. Since she has temporarily closed her café, she can secretly take care of him. She can even have Eun Guk run the café while she 'grieves' so he won't notice her disappearing act. But people will start noticing her change in mood and Grandma and her son will eventually notice her going out during the day, and will tell Eun Guk, who will follow her, one day. Then he will find out her secret and confront- especially if she still refuses to see Eun Seol at this point. This will cause strife between them because she does not want her brother to be tangled up with Eun Seol again. So she will make him promise not to say anything, to anyone, especially his family. But secrets always come out.

I prefer it this way because it will give Mi Rae something else to do. What would be even more thrilling is if she knew all along and has been hiding him. Her grief would not have been because he was dead but because she was afraid that he would not wake up again. And she has closed her café so she has the perfect cover. This would be a really insane twist but basically impossible. She really believes he is dead.

Having Seok Jin by her side would be too good an ending for Hae Ra. But maybe finding out that her entire life is a lie is enough comeuppance for Hae Ra.
They should both just be single in the end, with Eun Seol losing all romantic interest in Seok Jin. He will live with so many regrets, but would have made it to the top, at least.

I do find it interesting that on Wednesday's episode, episode 51, Hyeon Jae's nephew mentioned that Hyeon Jae is away on
a business trip. Then in the very next episode, he said the same thing again. I can't help but feel like the writers are planting easter eggs for us and giving us hints that he is still alive. Saying it once is curious enough, but to repeat it in the very next episode makes us doubly curious. It's like the writers are saying, "in case you missed what he said the first time.....".

So I remain hopeful and I also want him and Eun Seol to be endgame. Seok Jin will never be worthy of her, no matter how much they may try to redeem him later.

My greatest fear is that they will only bring him back for a flashback of his death scene😭😭. We didn't see him die so what if he someone came along and spoke to him as he died. And during that conversation, he gave that person some important information for Eun Seol😭😭. But no, the writers would not be that cruel. He has a lot of unfinished business so he has to be alive.

Yes, in the preview, Mi Ran says that. Maybe she will use Guk Cheol that way. She told him that their daughter is dead but she knows he did not believe her. So Eun Seol provides the perfect cover. But what reason will she give Eun Seol for imprisoning him? Doing so will also expose Choi as Mi Ran's henchman. I don't think Choi will want Eun Seol to see him in that light.
Next week will be very interesting. Guk Cheol is moving far too slowly, but he can only do so much with his current restrictions.

I will be delusional with you🙏🏾. If he is alive, which I really, really, hope he is, I think we will get a glimpse of him within the next 10 episodes- could be this coming Friday or next Friday- probably in a coma, which will be followed by a small bout of amnesia. If it's much later, then no coma or amnesia.

He has only been gone for 7 episodes- so more time is needed. The writers want to make us forget, then surprise us...........I hope 😂😂.

😂😂😂 I cannot wait for Yeong Hun's downfall and grovelling. I hope Jeong Seon will somehow find out that he was embezzling funds from the company. She definitely will because that's why he had Seok Jin's Dad murdered.

I hope we get a flashback about how they met and fell in love. I'm pretty sure that Yeong Hun targeted her. But it is also possible that Jeong Seon pursued him- she has it in her.

Am disappointed too 😭. When I think of how far we could be right now 😭.

While it sucks to watch Mi Ran make a fool out of Eun Seol, this is necessary for Eun Seol to see just how depraved Mi Ran is. Hyeon Jae and Eun Seol's Mom only realised this when she killed them. Eun Seol was bound to make the same mistakes, too, but this lie has saved her life, in a way. When she finds out the truth or part of the truth, she will be far more cautious and will deceive Mi Ran until she takes her down. I cannot wait for that revenge.
I really feel for Jeong Seon when she realises that everything Mi Ran did was because she was jealous of her. People lost their lives and her daughter was imprisoned for 10 years- that will hurt a lot. She will need to be mentally strong. I hope we get to see Jeong Seon in her "woman scorned" era- with darker clothes and everything, side by side with Eun Seol.

I hope that Eun Seol will not be the one to learn of Hae Ra's cruelty but So Yeon might confide in Eun Seol. I hope Seok Jin catches Hae Ra. The question is, if Seok Jin learns about it, while he end the engagement or will he reason that it might be safer for his Mom to go to a nursing home so that she is safe from Hae Ra? He is desperate to marry Hae Ra, despite his occasional doubts. I think the nursing home thing could happen. Maybe So Yeon will meet Guk Cheol there if Mi Ran succeeds in locking him up 😂.
I am surprised that Eun Seol's Grandma has not bump into Guk Cheol in some gambling hall 😂😂.

How long do you think this fake Mom thing will go on for? I think until the engagement party- not more than 10 episodes, for sure.

They didn't show the high profile lady- they just spoke about her briefly.

I think her grief over Hyeon Jae has hit her even harder than she expected. And she blames herself too, so she has guilt on top of that.

If Guk Cheol had not met Hae Ra in person, he would have been easy to fool. So if Mi Ran presents Eun Seol to him now- he might figure things out faster, and he will realize that there was a switch, and with whom. Mi Ran will be handing him the answers on a silver platter.

With the way things are going with Seok Jin, Eun Seol might discover what happened to his Dad, by accident, much later😂😂😂. I wonder if his Uncle is still coming to the show- the actor seems to have been removed from the cast line-up. Seok Jin's uncle might have more insight into things or more clues.

When Hae Ra learns the truth about her parentage, I think she will push for the wedding to be in less than a year- maybe in a few months.

It's starting to make sense why the writers took out Hyeon Jae when they did. Eun Seol would not have been this vulnerable to Mi Ran's lies if he was still around and advising her. She is easy pickings for Mi Ran. Didn't her Dad tell her that his Mom is the one who found Mi Ran? Because if he did, the money aspect should not surprise her because her Grandma has always been greedy. Her Dad has never been that kind of a person but she is suspicious of him now 😪. It does not help that Grandma wants Eun Seol to borrow money- confirming what Mi Ran said 🤦‍♀️. Eun Seol just needs to shout at her Grandma, just once.

I don't understand Eun Seol's thought process. She told Mi Ran that if she had revealed herself sooner, Hyeon Jae might still be alive. Is she insinuating that Hyeon Jae's death is related to Mi Ran's identity as her Mother? If yes, surely she should reason that Mi Ran might be involved. At least she is still thinking about the gloves in the picture. Maybe she will ask Mi Ran about them.

I wonder if Mi Ran will introduce Eun Seol to her ex and claim that she is their daughter. But that is far too risky because her ex is unpredictable- no telling what he will say. Will she tell Choi? Probably not, given what she has been saying about Eun Seol.

Mi Ran mentioned helping Eun Seol with her re-trial- will she get her a new lawyer?

The correctional scholarship program has far too many cooks now. And Jeong Seon knew that Mi Ran was against the program?

Yeong Hun basically threw his friend under the bus😂😂.

Seok Jin will finally notice that the lighter is missing. Didn't he tell Hae Ra that she couldn't go to the show with him and So Yeon because it was a mother-son date? So why did he let ger crash their date? 🤦‍♀️

Teun Teun looked so cute while relaxing after his soccer game😂.

If that happens, the writers will just use that as an excuse to put Seok Jin and Eun Seol together because his loss will humble him.

So Yeon needs to stay healthy and unscathed 🙈🙈🙈. She should also get some payback.

And Eun Seol's Dad needs a love interest 😂😂.

Eun Seol and Jeong Seon will definitely need to help to wrestle control of Cheongma away from Yeong Hun, Mi Ran and Hae Ra. I don't think Seok Jin will be on Hae Ra's side by then. He will likely be on Team Eun Seol. But even with him there, none of them are experienced enough to bring the board members to their side. Mi Ran and Yeong Hun have been working on the board members for years, while Jeong Seon has not really focused on that aspect of the business. So Team Eun Seol will need someone with a strong business acumen and far more experience- this high profile lady could help.

Yeong Hun also had an interesting look on his face while talking to Mi Ran in today's episode. He is definitely playing her.

When I saw them in the stairwell, I thought the same thing because the abuse has just escalated, and So Yeon does not want to tell Seok Jin about it. Or maybe all these altercations will trigger her memories to come back.

At the rate that Hae Ra is going, this engagement might not even happen. I hope someone catches her threatening So Yeon in the stairwell, and can that person be Choi and not Eun Seol. We don't want Eun Seol back in Seok Jin's orbit, and Eun Seol has enough to deal with. Better yet, let it be her bio-daddy who catches her. But it is a stairwell- I hope Hae Ra won't accidentally push So Yeon down the stairs.

I am so glad that Choi is the one who found Eun Seol, but it gave Mi Ran another opportunity to play Mommy to Eun Seol. I hope Mi Ran will shed those same tears when Hae Ra finds out about the switch.
Hae Ra will notice that Mi Ran is taking extra care of Eun Seol- this won't be good.

Jeong Seon spotted Yeong Hun's friend arguing with a young woman meaning that he and Yeong Hun were not together as Yeong Hun had claimed. This makes Jeong Seon suspicious but Mi Ran suddenly cancelling on Yeong Hun might have inadvertently saved them from Jeong Seon's suspicions about them having an affair 🤦🏾‍♀️. I am curious about Yeong Hun's friend, though- is he cheating too? 😂😂😂

Eun Seol saw a picture where Mi Ran is wearing the killer black gloves- that was fast. This has left her feeling really confused. I hope she finds a way to search Mi Ran's office and bedroom, at some point.

I just looked at the schedule for tomorrow- look like there is no episode tomorrow due to baseball😭😭😭. But Episode 53 reads as follows:
Mi Ran reveals her hidden wounds to Eun Seol, leading to Eun Seol accepting her as her mother for the first time. Meanwhile, So Yeon, blackmailed by Hae Ra, suffers from nightmares all night.

I hope So Yean will say something during those nightmares that will make Seok Jin more curious about his Dad's death.

This episode had some funny lines in the beginning 😂😂- Seok Jin jokingly asking Hae Ra if Mi Ran's ex would cling and annoy him any more than she does 😂😂😂😂. And So Yeon comparing Hae Ra to one of Cinderella's wicked stepsisters😂😂😂😂😂. Mother and son are funny.
Will Seok Jin actually entertain the idea of sending his Mom to a nursing home? If he does- there is really is no redeeming him🤦‍♀️. Eun Seol would never allow it. So Yeon should just live with Eun Seol's family.

Jeong Seon is only now realising that they have not been treating Mi Ran like an employee🤦‍♀️. Too little too late.

Today's show confirmed something that I have been suspecting- Teun Teun does not know that his Uncle is dead. He was told that he is away on a business trip. It explains why he has been so happy. But why not tell him the truth? He is old enough to understand death. Is this is another clue that Hyeon Jae will, indeed, be back? It would be kind of hard to explain to a kid that someone is back from the dead, so I guess the writers chose not to tell him about the death at all. We will know in a few weeks if this is the case. If it is, I think Mi Rae will be the first to find out and she will hide it from everyone, intentionally, because she won't want her brother getting mixed up with Eun Seol again. This will only work, of course, if he is in a coma or has amnesia. Plus Eun Seol will need to find the other glove first, before finding out that he is alive.

I felt Mi Ran's sincerity when she told Seok Jin that she was envious of his relationship with his Mom. I think she really meant it.

Eun Seol is going to have a lot of emotional breakdowns in the upcoming weeks. First learning that Mi Ran is her birth Mom, then learning that she's not, and Mi Ran actually switched her, making Jeong Seon her birth Mom, then Mi Ran killed her adoptive Mom, Manager Na and Hyeon Jae, and framed her for her adoptive Mom's murder, then what Secretary Choi did to Hyeon Jae, then learning that her birth Dad had Seok Jin's Dad killed, and finally, realising that she and Hae Ra are adoptive sisters 😭. A lot of tears coming her way.

I am looking forward to hearing how 'angel' Mi Ran will explain abandoning Eun Seol😂😂😂.

Good to see that Grandma will now be working. She needs to be kept busy.

Mi Ran's ex has Seok Jin contact information. He is definitely going to call him at some point. But what will he say to him...?
