The family couldn't even put a picture with Eun Seol at the columbarium. That was heartbreaking to have her look at all the pictures and she's not even in a single one😪.

Hae Ra- isn’t that abuse of power to have employees wait for you to leave because you are afraid to stay in the office alone? What was Mi Ran doing all these years? She failed to raise Hae Ra properly- she only taught her how to be a brat. She is not even monitoring her work to make sure that she becomes an asset and not a liability to the company. That is a major misstep for a character like Mi Ran.

Mi Ran will be mad at herself because this idea for the 50th anniversary might be what gives Eun Seol an opportunity to join the company.

Did Yeong Hun only marry Jeong Seon for the company and power? He said he has her in the palm of his hand🤔. Jeong Seon needs to become more confident and independent- hopefully, Eun Seol will help in this regard.

Eun Seol is bailing out her family, financially- I had hoped that she would live with the lawyer and his sister and nephew, but maybe she will end up moving back home😪. Wasn't her brother in the military? How can he not see that his sister did not kill their Mom?
And how could grandna afford all that food when they've lost their house?

Looks like Seok Jin will catch a glimpse of Eun Seol in the next episode. These 30 mins are too short😭.

That will be great if the sister can help out too. Unfortunately, Eun Seol may end up breaking her brother's heart😪.

Was the Mom's phone taken by Mi Ran? The lawyer could have looked at the phone to see when Eun Seol was calling her and compared that to her time of death. But Mi Ran could have made that evidence disappear.

Nice to see that Mi Ran did not progress in her career until only the last four years. The Chairman is certainly wary of her- he was reluctant for her to become the PR manager, initially. I wonder what's the story there. He seems slightly wiser than his wife.

Poor Eun Seol- her family didn't even visit her in jail- they have all but disowned her- even her brother who seemed better than the rest. They won’t even let her stay with them😪. At least she has the lawyer, who believes in her. Looks like she might stay with him. I might already be getting SLS because the lawyer might fall for his former client.

Eun Seol will soon forgive her family and they will be by her side as she starts becoming successful 😐.

When Mi Ran said that Hae Ra is the future Chairwoman- 😂😂- little does she know that her plans are about to be ruined.
In ten years, all the characters made some progress, except Hae Ra 😂😂😂. She still behaves like a teenager 😂.

Overall, really great episode- 10/10. Eun Seol no longer looks like a teenager- I was worried about how they would age her up because she looks so young.

Eun Seol is going into this revenge journey blind, and with no official allies yet- she has no clue who her enemy is or just how determined she is. Let's hope she's up for the challenge 💪. Like Mi Ran, she has to take back what was stolen from her.

Also, in episode 5, Gyu Yeong tells Gyu Rim to get back together with the guy from 8 years ago. Gyu Yeong does not mince her words so if Mu Jin was Gyeol's Dad, she would have just referred to him as Gyeol's Dad and pushed Gyu Rim to find him, for that reason alone. Instead she teased that the feelings must still be there.

Also, the fact that Gyu Yeong thinks they can get back together easily means she does not view Gyeol as an obstacle, maybe meaning that Gyu Rim did not give birth to him so he will not be an issue.

He could be her baby brother. Her Dad could have had another kid- he was pursuing another woman when we met him. The Dad was an absent father for the twins, so Gyu Rim had to raise them. And given the trauma all of them are experiencing because of their absent mothers, maybe Gyu Rim wanted to spare Gyeol that and give him a mother. She probably told her
Dad to let her raise him as her son and in
exchange, he can live
with them.

I hope Hui Jeong was clever enough to leave some kind of note or letter for Eun Seol somewhere. She should have at least told her son 🤦‍♀️. She couldn't confide in her husband because he's such a wimp. Won't be surprised if his Mom forces him to re-marry.

I wish I could forget First Man too😂😂- writers can have such genius ideas but fail with the execution.

Mi Ran is so scary- I can't wait to see how she reacts to her plans falling apart. I wonder what life she thinks was stolen from her- maybe she was in love with Yeong Hun first but it was unrequited and he was in love with Jeong Seon, instead. And what happened to Seok Jin's Mom? She is an artist too so is she one of Mi Ran's victims or did Cheongma Group do something to her and that's why they are paying for her son's tuition? And what happened with Seok Jin's Dad? Why was it a surprise to Jeong Seon that they still had a picture of him on the walls? Did he commit some crime? So many questions.

Grandma is here to stay- in the promo videos, she's right
in front and all dressed up as Eun Seol is receiving her accolades at Cheongma Group, acting like a doting grandma who raised her😂😂😂. Eun Seol should ban her🤦‍♀️.

Mi Ran is really scary here- why would anyone think she is warm, according to the description? Imagine if Hwa Yeong in First Man was this cold and calculating and far less emotional- that would have taken the show in a completely different direction and she would have caused far more carnage. And Seo Rin would have been evil like her.

I don't think Yeong Hun had an affair with Mi Ran- he seems far more concerned about business and keeping the company's image squeaky clean. And the way he talks to Mi Ran is like he is her boss- no hint of a previous romantic relationship or any blackmail from her side, either.

This show has potential to insanely good, if well executed.

Great point about her desperately trying to get to that hospital- must have been to facilitate a switch.

They have not shown the actual switch yet but it is assumed given the negative DNA results and Mi Ran's smile when the assistant at the boutique told her that her daughter looks just like her, referring to Hae Ra.

I hope Hui Jeong will leave some kind of note for Eun Seol about the birth switch or at least to indicate that Mi Ran is dangerous. The fact that Eun Seol will start a revenge journey means that she will know who her targets are and that they were somehow involved in her mother's death.

Yeah- but generally, writers like to redeem those close to the leads, for the sake of the leads. Some leads are too kind and don't want their loved ones to suffer. So, unfortunately, even insufferable Gyu Yeong will be redeemed.

That was an interesting reveal but it's also highly likely that Mi Ran switched Hae Ra and Eun Seol as babies and Hae Ra is actually her daughter.

I wonder what Mi Ran's end will be. She might die in the end. She is just too evil.

Was gonna skip this but it certainly has my attention- I am sad that the Mom, Hui Jeong, will be dying soon. I really like her character- but from the promo videos, she will be dumb enough to confront Mi Ran about her baby, leading to her unfortunate demise.

In the promo videos, Mi Ran is shown, 17 years prior, watching Jeong Seon and Yeong Hun holding baby Hae Ra in the hospital. Mi Ran is in a hospital gown. But I doubt she could have given birth in the same hospital as Jeong Seon- an actress. If she did- then she might have switched the babies and Hae Ra is actually Mi Ran's daughter, and Eun Seol is Jeong Seon's. It would explain why Mi Ran coddles Hae Ra. And in the promos, Mi Ran is fearful of Eun Seol bumping into Jeong Seon at the company.

Hae Ra's character is seems similar to Mi Ran's too- just more emotionally unstable- Mi Ran's blood might have a strong hold on her.

I like how Mi Ran is a fixer. The show is different- I assumed Mi Ran could be having an affair with Yeong Hun but it's not the case. She is the family fixer and has managed to make them all incredibly dependent on her to the extent that they don't realise that she is plotting something.

Definitely a lot more stress and drama, especially if she tries to separate the family. Her re-appearance will give the twins some more storyline.

And if it turns out that the twins are not Seok Jung's, there will be several ripple effects- Gyu Yeong will be even more mad because she believes the twins' existence is the reason that her Dad kicked out her Mom. She already does not consider them as her siblings. It will also provide a great storyline for Seok Jung as he grapples with being tricked again but am sure he will want to continue being their Dad- this might serve as his redemption arc.

Oh- it's the friend's Mom?- I must have misunderstood. 😅 that's a relief then- still bad but not as bad lol. Will be hard for the friend to be a bridesmaid at that wedding 😂.

I just wonder how they will fill up at least 44 more hours of TV. But I love everyone's storylines- so the wait is worth it.

I hope the twins are actually Gyu Rim's Dad's kids. Their Mom might have just passed them off as his kids. Given her character, I would not be surprised. She might come back and mess everything up. She might have found a rich man and will want to take back her kids or if Gyu Seo becomes an idol, she might want to reclaim her kids. One things for sure- she will be trouble, with a capital T.

I am really enjoying this show too- reminds me of my love for Five Children.

I am really invested in Gyu Oh's story-it's the first time I am seeing such a storyline in a kdrama. I would like to see what led him to that lifestyle and I want to see him overcome it, and maybe become a police officer like he wanted as a kid. So much is standing in the way of his romance with Hui Na- the biggest being that he is 'dating' her mother. It will be interesting to see how they untangle this web while maintaining the values they have as a society. Family gatherings will certainly be crazy awkward- maybe they won't end up together but she will be instrumental in him getting back on the right path. One thing for sure- his secret will be revealed in the biggest and messiest way, which will only bring shame to his family and devastate Gyu Rim.

I hope Gyu Yeong actually moves out and does not try to weasel herself back in. So glad that Gyu Oh told her off too and did not give her any money. Why is she so broke as a doctor?

Regarding Gyeol- I am still on the fence on whether he is actually Gyu Rim's biological son- everything seems to point to that, especially with Mu Jin, and he and Gyeol's similar tastes and likeness- but if we know anything about kdramas- when everything seems to be pointing in one direction, the opposite is true. A major sticking point is Gyeol's age- he is exactly 8 years-old- the time jump was 8 years- so he should be around 7 years old. While Mu Jin was in rehab and Gyu Rim was house-hunting and planning for her family's big move- she did not appear to be pregnant. So Gyeol must have already been born before the time jump- unless they are rounding up the years or the jump was 8 years and a few months.
Maybe Gyeol was dumped at their doorstep and Gyu Rim could not bring herself to leave him at an orphanage? But she seems to know Gyeol's Dad because she told Gyeol that he's still alive. If the Dad is Mu Jin, how did she know, after 8 years, that he was still alive? Maybe she kept tabs on him, to avoid him? I wondered if Mu Jin's sister might be Gyeol's Mom because it seems like she had a love that she had to give up because of her Mom- that would explain the similarities between Gyeol and Mu Jin, but the timeline does not support this theory. Maybe Gyeol is actually Gyu Rim's brother- their Dad was pursuing another woman during that time. Or maybe the parents are unknown so far- like Hui Na's brother- the Ahjumma asked how her brother was doing. So many options- however, for now, I don't believe that Gyeol is biologically Gyu Rim's or Mujin's, but I look forward to being convinced, otherwise.

On top of everything else, too many people are finding out about Gyeol, too soon- including Mu Jin's family, and we still have 44 episodes to go. Mu Jin's Mom will definitely run a DNA test soon- but a custody battle will not happen because Mu Jin will quickly nip that in the bud. So I think there will be a different custody battle in the future- with the actual biological parents- that will add more drama.

I wonder what Yun Hui will do when she realises that her daughter is the one whom Mu Jin is in love with. Will she choose her stepdaughter over her bio-daughter? There will be a major sibling rivalry and no doubt, it will take a toll on Yun Hui's marriage.
