I do think we will see someone from her past, though. There was a lady who taught Eun Seol about design in jail. She refused to tell Hyeon Jae her name so maybe she is someone famous. She can be a good ally if she has been released.

Eun Seol's Dad is far too easygoing and easily blown by his Mother’s opinion, but he really loves his kids and actually gives great advise.

The preview says Eun Seol will come across an unexpected photo in Mi Ran's office, that will leave her even more confused. I wonder who is in the photo- did Mi Ran leave it out on purpose? Or is it another one of her mistakes? I can't believe the marternity book was not even well- hidden. Jeong Seon could have easily seen it if she was suspicious enough to snoop. Mi Ran has really trained her people well😂.

I guess the scene when Eun Seol is about to collapse is after she finds the photo? I hope Choi is the one who rescues Eun Seol while she is in that state, and not Seok Jin🙏. Or have Jeong Sin find her- I really wanted Jeong Seon to give her a hug yesterday. Or Eun Seol can just pull herself together.

Looks like Eun Seol will be down emotionally over the next couple of episodes. Her investigations might pause for a bit.

I hope he does not fall- he might fall right into Eun Seol's arms😭😭😭.

In the preview, Eun Seol looks like she is about to collapse at work. I hope Seok Jin is not the one who finds her🙏. I hope it's Choi- they need to give him more reasons to sympathize with Eun Seol.

Finding out the truth about his Dad has the potential to make Seok Jin villainous, but he won't go there because of his Mom. Not only was his Dad murdered, but he has been manipulated by Yeong Hun and Mi Ran. On top of that, he gave up on the woman he liked- but this one is his fault. But people can be irrational.

His fashion started changing last week- those must be the clothes that Hae Ra got for him. He is now dressing like the son-in-law of conglomerate. At least Eun Seol is too busy to comment on his scarves, like she did on his ring😂😂😂.

It has only been a few days since Hyeon Jae died so it will take a bit of time to replace the head of legal in the company. But there must be other lawyers in the legal department who can assist as the company goes through the hiring process.

Eun Seol is really going through it. The grief plus realising that Mi Ran abandoned her. The actress is doing a good job of displaying her grief. At least there were no awkward interactions with Seok Jin.
I feel like Secretary Choi's character has kind of stagnated. But looks like he will do anything to keep what he did to Hyeon Jae, a secret. And how can he help with the re-trial?- I have to agree with Hae Ra on this one. I don't know how he has not noticed that Eun Seol does not really trust him. And the way Mi Ran's ex is playing him right now, makes him look really dumb😂😂. Or maybe the ex is just that good at what he does.

Grandma is going to lose all that money, isn't she?🤦‍♀️ Why does her son continue to make the same mistakes with her?🤦‍♀️

Mi Ran will gaslight Seok Jin by telling him that his mother remembers some things wrongly 😂😂😂. At this rate, Seok Jin might not end up getting any revenge- Yeong Hun will just somehow end up in jail in the end😂😂.

Hae Ra is concerned that Seok Jin's Mom might have an outburst at the engagement party. That means that it very likely will happen.

Why is Seok Jin letting Yeong Hun pay his mother's medical bills? Seok Jin is a director and is well-paid. What will happen if he refuses their help on certain things? He needs to have a little pride so that Hae Ra does not throw such things in his face.

I really don't like how Eun Guk is forcing his presence onto Mi Rae and giving her a deadline for her grief- one month?🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ She told him that he and his family need to leave so she can make her way back to being happy again. And then he told his Dad that he'll never leave her🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. His Dad should have told him that loving someone means respecting their wishes.

What will happen during Yeong Hun and Mi Ran's weekend away? A lot can happen back home and Mi Ran's ex will have a little more breathing room. And since we know that Hae Ra will not be meeting up with Seok Jin over the weekend, she might end up bumping into her bio-dad, alone.

I hope Jeong Seon will remember that Yeong Hun chastised her for trying to set Mi Ran up on a blind date 😂. Jeong Seon should just keep that list of potential suitors for herself. She might need a man, post-divorce.

Eun Seol cannot go back to prison- the new lawyer will just ensure that everything is pinned on Manager Na so the case is finally laid to rest.

I can already see Mi Ran giving Eun Seol those fake hugs 🤮. And Eun Seol will call her, "Mom" 😭.

Looks like it will drag on. I was really hoping she would find out about Hae Rs and Mi Ran at the engagement party but it is far too soon. We are only at the halfway mark. Mi Ran will likely ask Eun Seol to keep the fact that they are mother and daughter a secret because she has a reputation to maintain. But this might be the only way Eun Seol gets to see the other glove- whenever Mi Ran sneaks her into the house.

Yes, she still has feelings for him and wants to protect him 😣. He is her first love so it will take some time to get over him.

I think we might have a problem. This is the preview for Episode 51: Hae Ra is disgusted by the re-appearance of Guk Cheol. Eun Seol, hurt by Mi Ran's coldness, vows to give up on finding her biological mother. Meanwhile, Mi Ran notices that Eun Seol is digging into her past, and attempts to to approach her with a new strategy.
In the preview, Mi Ran is looking at the maternity book so I think Mi Ran's new strategy is pretending to be Eun Seol's birth Mom. This way, she protects herself while keeping tabs on Eun Seol. She can even find a new lawyer for Eun Seol etc.

I also noticed the change of background music for them. I thought that maybe the writers are giving them a new song since they ended up using the other song while she was grieving for Hyeon Jae.
How I wish it was goodbye and there was a hidden meaning behind what she said, but I think that is just too deep for the writers 😂😂😂😂. That chapter is far from closed, I'm afraid😭😭😭😭.

She told Mi Ran and Jeong Seon so I don't think this fact would surprise Seok Jin because it's the truth. In fact, he would be relieved to hear that she said that because it's typical of her to say such things. So Yeon knows her son's desire to be rich- that's why she accepted Hae Ra's after hearing that. Everyone involved knows the relationship is transactional. Seok Jin only took Hae Ra back after she reminded him that she is the only heir to Cheongma, and he knows that he can only rise up the ranks in the company, through her.

Whether wealth and power are his sole ambitions, it remains to be seen.

So Eun Seol believes that Mi Ran is her birth mom- I guess no DNA test then. I cannot blame her for believing it because it is clear that Mi Ran worked extra hard to hide this 'truth'- the name change; lying to Eun Seol's Dad and Grandma; and arranging for an actor to be at the fake address. So what will Eun Seol do now? Just pretend to not know?
At least Hyeon Jae was meticulous with his notes- they helped Eun Seol put to part of this mystery together.

Wasn't Hae Ra always planning to invite Eun Seol to the engagement? She told her, previously, that she had to be there, and to congratulate her sincerely. Or was she just messing with her? So now Mi Ran wants her to invite her for real. I guess something will go down at the engagement that Eun Seol will see. Maybe she will be there when Mi Ran's ex confronts Hae Ra with the truth? That would be interesting because Eun Seol would immediately figure out that she was switched. But it's far too early for that revelation- unless Eun Seol keeps it to herself and continues investigating Mi Ran🤔. Knowing the truth about the switch now will make her more protective of Jeong Seon, though, and she will try to help her where she is allowed to. Also, knowing will help her to fight back against Hae Ra, who will become more agressive towards her after learning the truth.
But I hope knowing will not make Eun Seol want to steal Seok Jin from the fake heiress, which is highly probable 😭😭😭🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. However, I like how she handled the suit situation. She was calm and professional, and even refused his help, whereas Seok Jin keeps getting bothered. Is it too soon to say that Eun Seol has accepted the engagement and is moving on? Or is it just that she has a million other things going on in her mind such that Seok Jin is a non-issue?
Anyway, I really like the idea of Eun Seol finding out about the switch now- it will change the game, significantly. The engagement is in a few days- hopefully on Friday, and we can get a cliffhanger ending🙏.

Speaking of Mi Ran's ex- he must have a death wish- what will happen if Choi or Mi Ran sees him in the company lobby? And there are cameras 🤦‍♀️. Hopefully, he gets the DNA sample and leaves unseen. I say, he is quite astute. He even tricked the motel manager 😂😂.

Hae Ra mentions Eun Seol needing a new lawyer. I guess we are getting a new guy. Could it be Seok Jin's uncle who was rumoured to be in the cast? Or someone new whom Mi Ran will plant at Eun Seol's side so she can keep better tabs on her? Choi can only do so much and his feelings are a bit compromised.

Mi Ran is now far more confident after successfully seducing Yeong Hun🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Little does Yeong Hun know that that foot on his leg under the table, will soon become a shackle😂😂. It's sad- I really liked him when the show started. But I am looking forward to his downfall.

Of course Grandma will be upset because moving out is no longer her choice 😂😂😂. But I can't fault her that- it's the human condition😂😂.

I really feel for Mi Rae. They should respect her wishes. It's far too hard for her😪. But I know they won't move in the end.

Seok Jin and his Mom talked about her living with him and Hae Ra after the wedding. Hae Ra suggested the wedding should be in one year- that definitely won't happen so Seok Jin's Mom is safe. I have been wondering if she might get killed off but I doubt it. But at least Seok Jin knows that Mi Ran has also taken an interest in his Mom- even going with her to her doctor's appointments.
The engagement will definitely happen, though.

Yeong Hun wants to go on a road trip with Mi Ran? Something will definitely happen.

Last week, Hae Ra thought that nothing was going well for her on the day that bio-daddy bumped into her. Things will soon be much worse as she is about to find out that her entire life is fake- even her birth date😂😂😂.

I love Seok Jin in the beginning too, but he did show traits of being a bit forceful in getting his way. I actually liked that about him because Eun Seol would have never expressed her feelings, otherwise. I also liked how he saved her and was able to get blood for her.

You're right, he has not done anything horrible
to her but he has led her on, knowing that he has no intention of being with her and wants to marry someone else. He should have had the conversation and at least told her. Instead, he is mad at her for putting necessary boundaries. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. They need closure. It's annoying the way he stares at her and feels bad for her whenever something related to his engagement comes up. If only Eun Seol could just let him go and not care.

I actually like how he smiles at Hae Ra, though. There is genuine adoration there, despite knowing who she is, though he is not in love with her.

Then there's Hyeon Jae- when he came along, I realised that Eun Seol could do far much better than Seok Jin.

It's like Seok Jin is at a crossroad- he can choose to feed his ambition to the point of ruthlessness, or he can choose tamp down his ambition and stop caring about status and what people think about him. I think he is well on his way to blind ambition but finding out about his Dad might make him rethink everything.

The writers should just make Seok Jin's Mom and Eun Seol's Dad date when Seok Jin's Mom gets over her trauma 😂. Or will that be added trauma?😂

💯 If only Eun Seol can be as wary of Seok Jin as she is of Mi Ran, Secretary Choi and Yeong Hun. She should be more protective of her heart. Hopefully, she is observing what he is doing and will make her decision, accordingly, in the future. She may be blinded by attraction but I'm sure she sees.

Even though I hate to admit it, while Hae Ra is horrible person, she is also a product of bad parenting from all three parents. Will this be enough to save her character in the future ? It remains to be seen- it depends on just how far she is willing to go, and what she will be willing to do, to keep her stolen place. Jeong Seon and Yeong Hun love her and if she is willing to believe in that love, then she won't reach a terrible end. But if she chooses Mi Ran over them.....
If Hae Ra had been raised by Eun Seol's adoptive Mom, she might have been a completely different person. Or she could have been Eun Seol's jealous best friend who wants everything Eun Seol has.

We are all so fearful that the writers will actually make Eun Seol and Seok Jin endgame , despite our extreme dislike of the pairing 😭😭.

I think he will definitely help Eun Seol with a few things, like he did when he got Manager Na's notebook. But will these things be enough to redeem him enough to be worthy of Eun Seol? It remains to be seen. I like that they have their own stories, which are not intersecting yet. Usually, the ML is involved with the FLs plans on some level, or is aware of them. But Seok Jin, currently, knows almost nothing. They have not built adequate trust between them yet.

Personally, I don't see anything redeeming him to the point of being Eun Seol's endgame. But stranger things have happened. Did you watch Cinderella Game? I did not like the ML there because he helped deceive the FL into believing that some woman was her bio-Mom so that that woman could have access to her grandson, who was being raised by FL. The ML even faked DNA test results and would gaslight her when she expressed some doubt. But all was forgiven when he cried and said he loved her🤦‍♀️. He was even engaged to the 2FL🤦‍♀️.

If Seok Jin learns the truth about Yeong Hun and his Dad and ends up not getting engaged to Hae Ra, then we will definitely be headed towards an Eun Seol and Seok Jin endgame 😭😭😭. But if not, then there's a big chance they will not be endgame, even if Seok Jin begs. I hope Hyeon Jae comes back and he and Eun Seol can be together. Maybe he was removed, 'for now', so Eun Seol can know the pain of losing him and her feelings can be awakened. Right now, her feelings for Seok Jin are clouding everything. If Seok Jin had been the one who was 'murdered', I do not think she would have grieved to the same extent as she is grieving for Hyeon Jae.

The drama has been doing things differently, so I am hopeful that the writers will respect us viewers and not torture us by rewarding Seok Jin's behaviour.

I have watched a show, One Well-Raised Daughter, where the FL was in love with another guy for the majority of the show, and almost married him, but ended up with the guy who was her protector and always at her side. The first guy was not a bad guy- he just made a few bad decisions- kinda like Seok Jin.

Another question- Would So Yeon accept Eun Seol after learning she is her husband's killer's daughter?

I don't think they are trying to redeem him- he has been a consistent character. He has chosen his path and is willing to live with the consequences of his actions. It will take something really big to make him abandon ship. I think the difficulty we are having with his character is that he is a seemingly nice guy. Having a nice guy being ambitious to the point of self-sacrifice, is the opposite of what we are used to. We are used to Yeong Hun's kind of ambition and character- but Yeong Hun was never a nice guy like Seok Jin.

I actually like that he knows the type of person he is marrying- so he cannot complain in the future that he was tricked and did not know who she really was. It is a nice change. Even better, Eun Seol knows that he knows and yet he still thinks that Hae Ra is a better match for him than her.
