Maybe a mosquito landed on CSS’s face? 🤣

I read somewhere that she’s a very jealous lady who schemes against the Crown Prince’s ex gf to get her into trouble with her current husband. The way that she dragged CSS into the picture to save her husband when he lost the seals shows that she’s conniving and selfish. Could tell from LBY’s face he saw through her act and was rather annoyed. This lady knew that CSS is LBY’s kryptonite and hence betrayed CSS’s trust to use her to control LBY. Very manipulative.

I’ve noticed in a few of the YouTube videos out there about LLTG a very brief snippet of CSS in soldier or general garb hugging LBY in what looked like the end of a triumphant battle scene. Did CSS become a warrior like her mom in the end? It seems so unlikely because she has never demonstrated she could fight. Unless LBY continued to train her in self defence until she could go fight in a war?

Hahaha okok I think I need to be more imaginative. I actually don’t find any of those scenes sensual. 🤭 The wine dripping scene I felt was to show that CSS is very attentive to his needs. If instead of wiping the wine off with her sleeves she had licked it away then yah, I’ll agree it’s sensual. 😅

I think I will because:

1) LBY could demonstrate that although he abandoned her physically and that was wholly due to circumstances beyond his control at the moment (mostly to protect her and her family I’ve read) he never once abandon her in his heart. He didn’t once forget about her even when he was banished for years and going through hardships all those years. To the extent of even ensuring the well being of his love rival in a bid to give her a happy and secured married life with another man! Such self sacrificing unconditional love I d suspect that even CSS herself may not be able to give LBY.

2) The humiliation and abuse that CSS received from the palace maids and palace people shd not be blamed on LBY. He’s the last person who’d want to see her bullied. He didn’t plan for it to happen and it was CSS’s own choice to return to the palace. Blame it on those palace meanies.

3) LBY has already taken his big revenge. It is All Over. There’s nothing left for LBY to do now except to make it up to her, redeem himself and love and pamper her to bits! She shd give him and herself a chance. She deserves it after all these years of suffering. This argument about her fear of being abandoned by LBY again is unfounded.

4) He opened her heart and taught her what love is. It is not puppy love or teenage infatuation. This is strongly supported by the background story of both LBY and CSS - both desperately deprived of love and family warmth from young. So for these two to end up falling for each other is quite something. The slow burn love development depicting CSS‘S many self realisation moments that she actually loves this man further affirms that LBY is irreplaceable in her heart. Their love for each other is so deep they will never be able to love another person the same way. So why torture herself and go marry a man she doesn’t love?

Really? I thought the bedroom scene was the only one? I wouldn’t count the arrow pulling scene as one even tho our man is topless because I don’t think either was in the mood for any hanky panky then. So what are the other sensual scenes that I’ve missed pray tell!

Did he really groan?? Alright I’ll have to rewatch this episode too and pump up the volume at the bed scene! 🤣

Omg I just read it! I’m so glad things turn out well eventually for LBY and CSS! But I really didn’t see any physical fights coming. LBY has been so incredibly gentle towards CSS. He doesn’t even raise his voice at her so how is it possible that he’ll beat her up? I hope the director does something for this scene to make them less out of character. Don’t destroy our lovely impression of LBY as a fine gentleman please.

Oh dear Lordy! Hahaha. No wonder it’s so confusing! In fact when I was watching the earlier episodes I asked myself this “Wait a minute, who is Ling Zhi Sheng again? “ 😆😅 Why do they have so many names? So is his name LBY or LZS?

Totally agree with your points. Just wanted to add that for LBY and YS, yes they are constantly harassed by fan girls who swarm around them like ignorant flashy shallow flies. It is precisely this reason that makes CSS stand out like a trophy before their eyes. Here’s a young lady who is beautiful but don’t bother to doll up, immensely intelligent yet not academic, truly kind and genuine, independent and bold and who doesn’t care two hoots about these two men! I’d be intrigued and captivated by such a lady too if I were them! So novel and refreshing!

That would be really great! This is actually my first ZLS drama and I must say that I really like this ZLS and WL CP both reel and real! Their BTS clips are so funny and sweet. Would you say this is one of the best or the best ZLS CP?

Certainly it was the best WL CP as far as I know. But then I only know one other WL CP and that is the one in The Long Ballad. Not WL or D’s fault. It’s just that the script didn’t really focus much on the romance I felt.

Omg now it all makes sense! I thought he just wanted to make her hug him! But the whole scene seemed a bit awkward and the line （abt her having his life） that came after seemed random and hence somewhat cheesy! Thank you for the clarification!

Huo Budo , Young Gong, Zhang Jin, Liang QiuQi, Ali Si, Liang Zhou Mu, Huo Lou, Huo Bu, Brother A, Azhu, Quer, Huo Bu Xuan, etc etc and the list goes on….all these I got from just o from half a chapter. Also the English is strange. Not easy to understand. 😅

That would have made a lot of sense! The problem is, she only asked him to teach her self defence after he mentioned about the pressure point out of the blue.

But I agree with what the rest said, he mentioned it either as a distraction to take her mind off the matter that made her cry or as a lure to find out the truth. Looked like it kind of worked. When she blurted out teach me self defence and what if you are not around to protect me LBY made a brief facial expression that probably read “oh I see, someone bullied you physically”

That’s what I saw in some random YouTube video. Hahaha. The video explained that that’s why CSS turned her face away from him suddenly. She needed to curb her urges. 😆😆

Right after the tear jerking heart wrenching sobbing scene where NN cried so so hard in LBY’s arms, why did LBY suddenly decide to teach her some pressure points? So random and irrelevant! 😆 NN shd have responded “Huh?? Pressure points? Now? Seriously?” 😆

1) When did LBY fall for CSS? Did he fall for her after just seeing her hand sticking out of the window of her carriage?

2) When did CSS fall for LBY? Was it when he rescued her from the fire? That’s the first time we see her look at a man in awe.

3) When did she realise she love LBY? Is it after he kissed her forehead or after QiQi straighten out her thoughts about LBY?
