I also agree with the sentiment that people hype bad scripts and hate on innovative ones. And no matter how much I disagree with a person I'm not going to write a whole response to their review, when I can write my own review. Insteading of simplying disagreeing and coming off hostile.

It's impossible for people to review anything objectively because movies are suppose to make you feels things. Therefore it all ends up subjective.

This was my experience watching the movie. Your take is yours.

I have watched films that talk about the darker side of reality and have felt much different after finishing them. I felt how I felt about the film and I can "blame" the film for those feelings because that's what I felt from it. That's why watching movies are objective and different for everyone. If the story trumped all other aspects of the movie for me. Then that's my take on it. I enjoy storytelling more than anything and for me, the storytelling was excessive and brass. I didn't like. I don't have to. It was crap to me.

If you want to recommend this movie, by all means, do so. Because your experience was different than mine and its valid.
