Great article. I really enjoyed this show. It went far beyond my expectations in both script and acting. I love your top 5 choices of scenes I would like to add The dog farm retribution scene to your list. A lot of revenge scenes in other dramas are never satisfying but this, this was just what I need.
I highly recommend this if you looking for a good mystery and a villain your going to like no matter what.
GOT is my favorite and I have to say violence and the sexuality is part of the show.It confused me the" Western…
I realized a lot of people think that Western television is too violent or too sexualized. In my last article, there was a lot of debate about if a Sex and the City kdrama was ever made it would just be pushing Western ideals on sex and the like. I guess I was trying to make myself clear that if a GOT remake was made the concept would be made to tailor a Korean/Asian audience. I wouldn't say there is Western sexuality and violence. But the way the subjects are depicted in different countries is differently. Some of that has to do with cultural the other has to do with broadcasting censorship. (i hope that made sense)
Nice article! I love Sex and The City. I moved New York and lived there for 2 years because of it. I would love…
This reply is hella late, lol sorry. But I'd choose an actor named Sung Hyuk he hasn't been in a lot of projects but I'd think he could do really well in this role. If not him then maybe Lee Jae Yoon.
I don't think it's the opposite of k-drama. The idea of a bunch of girlfriends living in the city isn't a foreign…
Mistress which is an OCN drama had a lot of risky scenes and discusses their sex lives ,may not as in depth but it does. So I don't think it's impossible for sex and the city to be adapted into a kdrama
Sex and the City can be maladapted as a Kdrama. It's a terrible idea. Sex and the City is an American show whose…
Ofc there would be a ton of issues if anyone dared to make a female character that is okay with her sexuality in kdramaland now. Today this drama would probably be awfully redone but whose to say it can't happen in the future. I'm excited for a new generation of writers to push the envelope I don't believe it's impossible to create something similar to sex in the city
I wouldn't watch it. This is the opposite of what k-dramas are, and it's why I don't watch American tv.
I don't think it's the opposite of k-drama. The idea of a bunch of girlfriends living in the city isn't a foreign concept in korean dramas. I understand if you didn't want to watch it but I am just doing this for fun.
I feel that Lee Yoo Ri, Shin Sung Woo and Hong Seok Cheon would do well in these types of roles, but I have a…
Yeah their roles could be hard to fill just because of censorship in Korea. But i'm thinking with a script tailored for a Kdrama audience the concept might work overall.
Me and my friends were hyped about this drama -.- mad we have to wait for the second half though. We did a video review, check us out if you want to holler together~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyxLzsdiEaI&t=10s
I highly recommend this if you looking for a good mystery and a villain your going to like no matter what.
