I finished this within 2 days. Although body-switching part isn't something new but I think the ending is quite unique. At least I didn't expect it to end this way. I thought the two main actresses did a good job. Tao was a teen when she acted in this drama and she could both portray the bratty daughter and the mother-role well. Tanaka Misako did well too. She got the more difficult part, playing the daughter for 80 % of the drama. Their making-up scene was touching and it made me shear a few tears. It has been a while ago since I did that for a drama/movie. So overall, I liked this drama. It is sad that there isn't any English subtitles out so that it can reach more people.
Jun Ren said to Kai Jia that he doesn't love Ruby and that he doesn't know if he did like her a little before but what he is sure of is it is not possible for him to love her if their marriage is arranged.
Since Shi Zhao Yu is the male lead I think Kai Jia will end up with him but I think it would be best for all of them if it is Zhao Yu-Ruby and Kai Jia-Jun Ren. However, since this drama has been so unpredictable the ending might surprise us.
To be honest, I feel like Shi Zhao Yu (Chou Nick) and Shen Ruo Bi/Ruby (Huang Wei Ting) should be together when…
I think so too. It would be the best ending for the four of them. Especially after having watched the preview of episode 10. Ruby is a quite pitiful character who earns to be loved by who doesn't receive that, not even from her own father.
After watching episode 9 I got a feeling that Ruby also timetravelled, which would make sense since she was the key person to why everything started. I like how everything is so unexpected with this drama.
haha Wei Ting kisses like a plank of wood T_T i don't think I've seen a female lead kiss like that in…
Haha, I think Wei Ting did get better in the latter episodes (the really long kiss they had at the place with all the Christmas lighting in episode 39 and the bed one in episode 64). Have you seen the behind-the-scene clips btw? She was blushing so hard when she filmed the accident kiss with Melvin in episode 14 (?) that the director teased her and asked her if she always blush whenever Melvin touches her. :p
I like this drama. There's indeed some flaws such as the slow progress of the 2nd couple's relationship and some pointless characters like Wu Jian Ye (Xin Yi's ex bf) and the veterinary and it did get draggy around episode 50 and forward when Guo Long got the virus but overall I like how the drama had funny and sweet scenes as well as serious moments (the sideline of Zhi Heng's dad). The best thing though with V-focus is the main couple Jiang Zhi Heng and Ding Ruo Qin. Their relationship as well as their personality grew a lot throughout the story. From getting attracted to each other and getting together in lighting speed and then also breaking up just as fast as they became an item, going through misunderstandings, deciding to give each other a chance again and from then on giving each other endless love, support and trust, that's a relationship that everyone is yearning for.
Like someone has said here before I think their best scenes were in ep 34-39, especially the hotel scene in episode 35. It was the first time Zhi Heng and Ruo Qin was so open with each other about how they feel. RQ's backhug, ZH's tears and then their kiss I thought everything was written and filmed very well here. Both Melvin Sia and Huang Wei Ting did a good job. This is my first time watching a drama from the beginning to the end with Huang Wei Ting and I'm surprised that she didn't land herself a lead role until now. I think she made Ding Ruo Qin alive and likeable. I think she has potential. Hopefully, she will have more chances after this drama.
At last, I want to say that I think this drama is worth watching. I have watched a few T-daily and this is hands down my favourite.
