can someone explain to my why it’s so common for cdrama actors to dub their own voice? what’s the point? genuinely curious as I have definitely noticed the dubbing in cdramas and have often wondered about it.

so Ive noticed this before! the audio and lips often don’t align! Don’t know why all Chinese dramas are dubbed?!

I’m confused… is this just the original 31 episode show somehow condensed into 70 minutes?!?!?!

I'm in the US and it's available on both Viki and Netflix. I'm on a second watch of this, watched Netflix the first time and tried Viki this second time and gotta say the subtitles on Netflix are much better in my opinion. Viki kept referencing FL as "Pretty Girl" and ML as "Brother Cheng" and I found that super annoying lol. So I switched back to Netflix after the first eposide.

does this have a happy ending for the main couple? anything too serious to heavy happen? I really like both main leads so i want to give this a try but need to do my research first lol. how do they both die? and please, feel free to spoil away!

Can you elaborate on the "encounter a bit of struggles" please? Feel free to spoil away too! I just watched a drama that started off awesome in the first half and then took a hard turn to awful at episode 10 so I'm traumatized and still recovering lol

Can someone explain his curse in more detail? >! I have looked at the dramabeans recaps and it talks about both the bloody hand curse and some chromosomal abnormalities time bomb illness thing… are they one and the same? like the hand tremors he experiences are directly related to the curse? or is the curse one thing and the gene disease is another? I’m not into dramas with illness plots, even if everything is happy in the end, but some fantasy curse thing is fine since I don’t find that triggering. so if ML has BOTH going on, I want to know lol. and the reviews aren’t really clear on it… so is there just a curse that is responsible for all of ML’s symptoms, or is there a curse AND a genetic mutation/disease that is unrelated to the curse?! !< Thanks!!

Just watched the trailer and saw a moment where FL is in the school nurse's office and ML says "she's really sick". For anyone who has seen it, is that just like a minor cold or something? Or is there an actual real illness that rears up at some point? I just finished a kdrama that started off all light and bubbly and then turned hardcore to the serious halfway through and it was awful and left me traumatized lol. Want something just pure and happy and fluffy and fun to watch while I get over it! This seems to fit that, but I want to make sure there aren't any surprised before committing. Please feel free to spoil away in the comments!

^and this what I'm worried about lol. I'm not down with the questionably happy endings, even if they're meaningful/beautiful/more realistic. I want unquestionably happy happy lol. I also don't watch dramas for the thrills. I watch them to relax and unwind and enjoy myself - and I don't enjoy being tense and wondering what is going to happen next (hence why I like spoilers). I think I'll buckle down and find the time to read the all the Dramabean recaps and decide whether it's something I want to watch.

Can I get an ending spoiler please? People seem to love this drama but I’ve found time travel stories can have questionable endings for me, so I’d like to know exactly how this one ends before deciding whether to watch :-) Thanks!!

Can someone please spoil the serial murder plot for me? I want to watch this and know I'll have a better viewing experience if I already know the gist of who the bad guys are, what mayhem they're going to cause, and how it will all be resolved. I see the other comments that there's a happy ending for the ML and FL (yay!) so really I just want to get a rundown of the murder plot so that I'm less stressed while watching it. Thanks!!

I’ve read a lot about this show and gather it’s pretty awesome and funny… but how’s the romance element? Is there one? I love a good laugh, but I watch these dramas for the romance ;-)
