I agree with you so much. They keeping cutting out all the scenes that adds meaning to the story, the very scenes that madr this story feel flesh and blood. Yet they kept dragging the shit out of everything, add useless XiZhou scenes. The fact they decided to cut out the before surgrey scene with YunShen and JSN makes me feel like they missed a huge opportunity. Like that was such an important scene and they cut it

This is about the only type of moments in cdrama that makes me cry... which is sad bc supposed these angst emotional scenes should make me cry but the music and often times dubbing (admittedly) makes it hard for me to empathize. Im literally just watching these scenes like its a pretty piece of art but not something I can connect to on a personal level
