Best shoujo adaptation in a long time. For once, a series with good pacing, and great chemistry between all the cast members. I remember when I read it and watched the anime a lot of the characters didn't make much sense (especially Kou; it was obvious he wasn't a bad person, but it was hard to see how he felt towards Futaba or the natural progression of him holding his feelings in). Despite Kaito being one of my favorite actors, I was kind of skeptical to see how he'd perform as Kou, but dang. He's too good. Natsuki and Sara too. Gave me chills on how perfect the casting was. I have no complaints.
In the anime, I feel like they dragged Toma's arc too long, and made it seem like Futaba was really giving up on Kou, but I like the way they paced and expressed the dynamic here more. They made Yuri seem more real as well too.
Everything, just makes sense. The balance of a good directing, good actors, good production and good colouring is just so damn satisfying.
That would be one hell of a twist! I had my doubts about him early on in the show, thinking "no one is THAT nice",…
While he's not necessarily a bad guy in my eyes, he is involved everywhere QL is. For example he was also captured when their friend died. It wouldn't take much spinning for QL's father to pay him (and his guilt off) to protect QL. He was also the one who veered off in the car - even though he wasn't tired or drunk. He's also the one who made their group of friends keep quiet.
Went from watching him play Ryu in Kimi ni Todoke to seeing his collarbone as Yano Shota in less than an hr. BRO. I was not ready--- this is a dangerous switchup.
Desperately waiting for subs... So far, the chemistry and plotline moves slowly (alot of still talking), and is a little dry -- but I'm having high hopes for the actors.
Classic, and cute with amazing chemistry. But if you're not a fan of miscommunication animes this might be painful to watch. But it's a realistic anime where romance takes careers into consideration; and they're not tossing their careers away nor their love away
Best chemistry in a series that I've ever seen (although I feel like the first episode nor the pvs really gave it justice). -- Maybe it's because Dylan and Esther have a similar chemistry irl, but I'm obsessed. It's easily one of my favorite c-dramas, and the music is equally top tier (if not better). Really really hope they get the love they deserve.
I can't tell if it's the attention to wigs, or my favorite actors, but they're really giving the series justice... One of the few manga to LA adaptions done right
Excited to see him break into the Seiyuu industry. I'm surprised he had such a main role so soon. For his first, he did extremely well! Maybe it's his Rurouni Kenshin days, but his cries of pain made my eyes well up. I didn't recognize him at the time, but hearing that emotion made me look his character up. Can't wait to see him improve and get featured more.
Really thriving that Sejeong is getting offers to many diverse roles. I think both would be great for the role (given the face I haven't read the webtoon), but she has nailed every role since her acting debut--so here's hoping for another successful one.
I can tell I'm too obsessed with Sato Takeru, because I've been visiting this page so much (or his dramas), that I could tell immediately when someone updated his pfp. *facepalm*
I was upset they at first that they didn't cast an older guy for Sato in AJIN, but both his voice, acting and visuals really came through. He honestly is the closest lookalike (and like everythingalike) I've seen in an adaption. Hilarious too.
