I've watched upto ep 10, but the 1 thing that annoyed me and I just cant let it slide is the scene where their…
She did not abandon her children?! Like why did you think that? Her children are adults who live independently in Seoul while she lives in the countryside (presumably since the air is better and she has/ had cancer).
The kids were asking for forgiveness because they did not tell her they lost the house.
He did. She was also a minor (younger than 20). He went to prison too. Are you going to argue that the judges and court ruled wrong? Please stop defending rapists and abusers.
@Lucina I know how you feel. I've had to not watch so many dramas with actors I love watching simply because of this guy. I also think it's onto these actors to not accept projects with a rapist. Like how Uee did by not accepting the weekly drama with Park Shi Hoo.
Also Korea (entertainment industry specifically) might be okay with misogyny and child rapes, partly because us viewers are okay with it -_-
He was charged with raping a minor back in 2002 and he served a jail sentence too. He ended up taking a break from dramas for 10i-sh years but he's back.
I also found out only a couple months ago after having watched a couple of dramas he's in. But no more.
I love everything so far except the second female lead, she's so annoying. What is her relationship with male…
Who knows? She wasn't in the webtoon. The only characters so far who were in the webtoon are the FL and ML and I think some of the team members (though I could be wrong as they had only like 1-2 lines if even those)
After ep 2 I'm liking all the changes they made (which is a LOT) because the webtoon really doesn't have much substance or plot in it, so in order to adapt it a lot of other stuff needs to be added.
I liked the focus on work and the dynamics of the colleagues, the doctor plotline (and even the actress who I'm guessing will be the SFL), and especially how Hong Yesul is clumsy but not dumb or stupid. She is calm, mature and sensual while still being funny and lovely. And Cha MinHoo definitely has that sexy charm of a competent but aloof team leader.
I loved how he reprimands her, but still is looking out for her, trusts her abilities and tells her so. I am so happy they aren't going the 'he's mean to you because he likes you' route, because not only is it trite but also very 00s and immature.
Same. I've read the webtoon too and think this casting much better. In the webtoon, the Fl is bubbly and cute…
No apparent love triangle. The SML is the FL's ex-bf so there were feelings at one point. And he could be considered irritating since he is the ex (so they have conversations etc), but not really.
There is an actual irritating character, but the Fl has no feelings for him whatsoever. And I doubt he'll get as much screen time...
I have read the webnovel, and I am currently waiting for the 2nd season of the webtoon. I agree that the actors'…
Same. I've read the webtoon too and think this casting much better. In the webtoon, the Fl is bubbly and cute while the ML is the typical hotshot young guy in a power position. I feel like we have so many kdramas having this character dynamics (WWWSK, The secret life of my Sec, SWDBS, Clean with a passion for now, Business Prop, My Secret romance, Suspicious Partner, etc), it gets repetitive.
So I like that they've upped their ages and maturity level. We rarely see this trope with characters in their 30s. Hopefully they are able to bring in their own charm, while maintaining the humour of the webtoon. Can't wait!

About 95 % of the webtoon has the ML and FL.
