Kiralık Aşk was my first Turkish Dizi! That drama is seriously addicting. Occasionally, I rewatch my favourite scenes. The OST is also amazing.

I think the youngest son (Gang Soo) is Dokgo Lady's son, whom she had before marriage or something (making him Seri's brother). She seemed too concerned about him in the hospital and now this baby clothes/ photo scene. Also when our main couple gets together and Bom and he get together it won't be weird (even though legally nothing wrong, such over-related relations are frowned upon in traditional societies).

Idk what will happen to this man, whether he'll have a career or not, whether KSR will get justice or not, but one thing is for sure: Kim Sae Ron's name and the fact that she killed herself on his birthday will forever be associated with him. It will be a stain he can never wash off no matter how many people he and his agency bribe, or threaten.

This is the first time I'm watching a long-format drama while it's still airing. But I like all the established actors so when I read the synopsis I decided to give it a go. I binged all 14 eps over the weekend haha. Just like everyone else, I'm also annoyed by the 3rd brother and the salon lady. Her intentions might be good but she is unhinged. I also HATE the 2nd SIL so I'm watching their scenes on 2x.
Everyone else I like, I hate, I'm annoyed by, I laugh at, I cry for. All the fun things. And now the weekly wait begins!

I tend to agree with you on Love Scout but Imo ep 12 of WTPR was terrible. That whole jungle/ war scene killed the show. It was extremely ridiculous and against BSE's character growth that we'd witnessed so far to ghost HHJ and disappear somewhere where he could DIE (without HHJ knowing ever). I could no longer suspend disbelief (which I had been doing for eps 1-11). Why should I as a viewer still care about the ML and his trauma when he treats the FL so poorly even in the *last* episode? He was already treating her badly but we'd moved on from that and then the drama regressed to ep 1 ahole BSE. It ruined the drama for me.

Park Bo Young can have chemistry with a rock and Choi Woo Shik has the melo kdrama eyes down to a pat. The trailer looks fun and sad and romantic and I am seated. Feb 14 is for all us kdrama lovers out there.

Loved eps 1-2! The wait is going to be excruciating. Why do I keep on choosing ongoing dramas? 😂😭

I know there were comments about how the best friend was evil (I agree), but to me, the SML was more annoying. The actor was so miscast, he wasn't even a solid contender for YoonJi's affections and then you add the fact that he had this weird holier-than-thou attitude like he was somehow better than SeokJi. Idk he rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't comment on this before because I thought he'd improve. But even in his last scene, he took his "wish" without even asking YoonJi if she was okay with it. Ugh.

This is my favourite of the 5 Friends-to-Lovers kdramas I watched in 2024 (released in 2024 too). My ratings:

I love how right from ep 1 something or the other has gone wrong for Seokji. That poor guy has such terrible luck with things 😂

I know you replied to op but I too agree that the extraordinary chemistry of QoT leads was wasted by the showmakers. After the surgery ep, the plot became too ridiculous to salvage (imo).

WTPR showmakers know that the the best thing they have and what fans are tuning in to watch is the main couple and their chemistry. So even if there's suspension of disbelief at many places, I'm enjoying the show greatly!

I have such a goldfish memory because when I was watching the ep I was like this is similar to QoT but when I came here to comment, I forgot lol. That car scene was eerily similar. Not complaining tho. I enjoyed both. Just an observation. I also thought the hospital scene from last ep when they were cuddling in bed was reminiscent of QoT hospital scene.
