I literally cannot bring myself to watch the last episode..
What in the abysmal work is this in the last three episodes????? The beginning was good and had potential. Then the middle was fine but still watchable. Finally the end was just.. so rushed and so BAD. LIKE WHAT???
I’ve never rated dramas low before but this has to be a 6.5 for me. I’m open minded to every drama I watch and usually don’t mind the plot holes or if the script is a bit wishy washy. Unfortunately I literally cannot ignore it this time. The casting was good, costuming was presentable, osts were good, acting was actually pretty good. I liked the chemistry between the leads it was nice. However where did the plot go?? Did it get on a unicorn and just fly away??
This is just too ridiculous even for me who has more tolerance for illogical stuff in cdramas 😭🙏
I’m so confused. Was she just acting the whole time? Or did HRY take over LQY? Because nothing ever indicates she’s been acting since we’ve seen her thoughts and actions whilst alone?

Although they originated from the same source and are part of a series, technically speaking they are stand alone dramas. I’m also pretty sure this one year rule only applies to dramas with episodes that exceeds 40 or 45 I think. Only then do you have to split it a year apart but it’s still the same drama.
In this case each story isn’t in one big drama so they shouldn’t need to wait a year. Instead it’s in three diff dramas.
Love it so far but two things that bothers me is when the two lead argue. To me they argue like angst teenagers instead of grown adults and I’m so sorry but it’s starting to get on my nerves 💀 they go back and forth then blow it off with “afterwards we’ll be done” or “we’ll be even” I also find that every time Bai Shuo and Chong Zhao run into each other they have the same damn conversation EVERY TIME.
This is the 10th they’ve seen each other and they ALWAYS have to talk about the past. I GET it. I don’t need to hear the same conversation 100 times. Well that was a rant. Anyways, other than that I’m quite enjoying the drama so far. :)
I’m liking it so far. Although it’s a little slow paced with nothing much on the line I like it. I quite enjoy it actually. It’s nice to just sit down and relax while watching something fun and simple. It’s not overly complicated nor are things at high stakes. Technically it is but it’s not super tense and usually resolved easily. It’s fluffy and cute.
However I do have a complaint or more. My biggest complaint would be the ml. Nothing is wrong with the actor himself. My problem comes with how the ml was written. Yes, he’s tsundere and stubborn but he honestly acts too childish at times in my opinion. He’s a 27year old adult but acts like a high schooler which drew me out of the story with his antics. There’s a certain extent to where to can push that behavior before it just feels immature and dumb.
Another thing, their relationship in the beginning is rather illogical. Realistically, I don’t think people would allow themselves to be treated the way he did to her in the beginning. It’s just a drama so who really cares? It was for the plot lol. Other than that I like the ml and the drama so far.
I also love the fl. I love her character sm! Although she is bubbly and bright she doesn’t allow herself to be taken be bullied. (besides the ml lmao) I like how she stands up for herself and what she believes in. I quite enjoy this drama so far so hopefully the ending is done well!

I've watched, Legend of Yunxi, Legend of White Snake, Love under the Full Moon, and In Blossom. I'd say she has improved throughout the years, but it's still not quite there yet for me. Although I'm concerned I'm hopeful she does a good job in this drama.
I'm a little nervous to have Ju Jingyi as our fem lead. I've watched her previous dramas before and her acting isn't that bad. My issue is when it comes to an emotional/serious scene. Ju Jingyi usually fails in that aspect to truly move the viewers. So I'm not the biggest fan of her as the female lead having watched her other dramas before. Although Tian Jian Rui and Yan An are in the drama, I'll watch it for them as I really enjoyed their performance in FOF.

Just to add on more, if we are to have a tense and serious scene let the audience really feel it. Don’t break it so often with something funny. If done well it can work but so far it’s done at the wrong scenes sometimes.

The show is decent so far but I feel the switch between the tense and funny scenes is too much. I get what the director is trying to do. It can be comedic when a serious is suddenly stopped. However, I feel that it’s happening too much and it brings me out of the story instead of brining me in. It can be a little frustrating to watch.
I also feel that the group bond is too close except Wen Xiao and Zhuo Yi Chen (they’ve known each other seemingly for years) while for the other three they barely know each other? So it doesn’t make sense to me how they’re all already so warmed up to each other. Because of this the group doesn’t exactly click with me as well.
So far the story is somewhat intriguing. Though there are some things that bothers me. Only 5 episodes have come out so maybe I’ll get a better feel for everything later on.
Honestly was so fun to watch. It’s definitely not the best ofc. If sometimes you just wanna sit down and watch some cute fluff romance with not too much drama or complexity, this is a great drama. I really enjoyed it. The acting was good for what the production and story was about. Although I wished there would have been a bit more spicy drama it’s still good.
The male lead could use some more work but overall I don’t mind. He can be quite funny and cute. Although his earlier scenes are not the best. Later on his acting does improve and is good enough to watch. The female lead’s acting is also quite good throughout the whole drama. I have no complaints. The side couple actors aren’t the best of the best but again for what this drama was the acting was good enough.
The story isn’t too deep and complex. Some things don’t make logical sense as someone mentioned that fl is a med student but she’s always finding the time to bake is questionable to me as well. In the field of medicine it doesn’t make sense how she has this much free time. Then again it’s a simple fluffy drama so there’s no need to dwell on it. Just watch this drama with a light heart and don’t take it too seriously. Because after all it’s just a fictional drama. Of course it’s not going to be that deep. So just sit back and enjoy it when you’re eating or something! Lol.
My overall rating: 7.5

I’d say it’s pretty good. There’s many cute, funny, and awkward scenes. The acting is also good and enjoyable. Although the pace of the plot may feel a tad bit slow and draggy at some parts that is more of my personal opinion. I quite like the chemistry between the leads. Right now the plot hasn’t fully moved onto the super angsty parts yet so it’s relatively light hearted in a way so far.
Production and quality is also good. Lighting and color contrast is not bad. It can depend from person to person. Overall, it’s good but you should watch maybe the first 5-10ep to see if you like it or not!
