I am not gonna crucify a seriously ill, damaged and depressed, financially and family-wise disadvantaged, severely bullied young high school student under literate threat of being killed by a gang and/or imprisoned for making this obviously very bad decision. blingelingeling perfectly summed up below how Non possibly came to his conclusion, and I cannot put it any better. And I don't need permission to think that way.

It beggars belief how little empathy and understanding BL audience has whenever they see infidelity. It is really a trigger for them like a red cape for the bull. They stop thinking straight away.

No one denies they are entertaining and powerful, but they are extremely hard to watch.

And that is more than likely that one of them from the friends group was there at school. And we know Non and the teacher were already discovered by one of them ("I know where he got the money from")

He was crying while he was filming and also when he was about to publish the video - with which he had difficulties and finally it is quite possible he didn't do. It is still a very fucked up thing to do, but he was obviously conflicted about his feelings of love, disappointment and shock. Whatever he did was clearly not done by cold calculation. He was hurt. Whether he had the right to be hurt is a different matter, but he was hurt.

That would explain why Phee ignored Non's calls and texts, and Non's wallpaper picture of them together on his phone in episode 6 was taken when they were by the lake in episode 7. And Phee kept telling Non "I am sorry" when he rescued him.

Or Jin was not the only one who filmed them. Fluke 's reaction is very suspicious.

He might have referred to their past as they both were FWB to each other.

Actually the title "Dead Friend Forever" could also refer to the so-called friends who are being killed one by one.

Jeez, he did not want to talk to Phee about his hardships precisely because he did not want to involve him. He may have not talked to Phee about the video straight away because he may not have been sure Phee has already seen it and he may have tried to seek the teacher's help to cover it somehow. No one blamed Phee btw, I don't even know what you are talking about.

The point is Non hooked up with the teacher for the money because he though it might solve all his problems, he can forget about the past and be happy with Phee. In his circumstances that is totally obvious how he came to this conclusion.
