And here I feared that I was the only one! I was really annoyed by Almond's and Latte's bedroom scenes both in…
I would have soo loved them experimenting with each other in episode 10. It would have fit both characters and would have been in line with where I thought this show was kind of going. I was really disappointed. One thing I dislike about these series is that they leave out the middle of a sex life. Like where is the making out. Where is the occasional groping or the ass smacking?! The little pecks as you walk past each other. Like the real parts of a relationship. Heck a simple dirty look would do these shows wonders, as it demonstrates that you are attracted to the other person. Maybe one day, we'll get a show with everything. Sex positivity, consent, sweet moments, romance up the wazoo and zero trauma for the main leads. I can dream!
As crazy as it may seem, there are still people who go along with the status quo for fear of what truth will do to there lives. Hence the term, down low. While I was frustrated by Peak at times, I mostly empathized with him, especially after this episode. Knowing that it really stemmed from being afraid to break a family that had already suffered a break, it made sense. I was so sad for him because he didn't get that by not being truthful with his dad, HE was the one who suffered, not to mention Jane. Familial obligations are tough man, and people acting like it's not a big deal to not speak to one's family for an undetermined amount of time are nuts. Families are usually our supports. And while I am sure lots of people have survived and lived better lives with out family who did not support them 100%, almost every person in the world want to belong to a family, but especially there own, if it was any little bit of loving. So I am so happy that worked out for Peak. Now, not that I feel like all series should have NC scenes (some of the best ones simply have a kiss, heck my favorite JBL has nothing!ππ) However, based on the first episode, I figured we would get more than we got in this episode. I mean, we literally watched Almond try and fail at using a vibrator/dildo but he gets crazy shy when his boyfriend gives him the mildest o'kisses?! Also, it always irritates me when shows act like people, especially young people in a new relationship, aren't all over each other, all the time. Like be so for real. While I LOVE that they aren't really showing Latte pressuring Almond in any way, it just was a weird scene that felt very filler-y since it did nothing to develop the characters or their relationship. Now for Peak and Thanwa, while it showed development in their relationship, having seen both Seng and Best's previous works, I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed in their love scene as well. I did not expect War of Y or Check Out, it would have great to get a like Cutie Pie level scene. That was beautiful and really kind of showed the magnitude of sleeping with the person you love for the first time. Ahh, anyway, while I still think this show deserves a higher score, I will say, even with Peak finally confessing, this episode felt like a filler. And what Jane is doing now is anybody's guess. I guess we'll find out next week.
Man, why does it feel like we are going to get a time skip next season. If that happens, it will piss me off, cause that means that Ryu's mom wins, even if it's temporary. Imagine, knowing that your son only came back (after he would rather live on the streets with gangsters) because he wanted to help save his coach in order to play the last basketball game only to be like, sike, nevermind! In what way does she think this will help her get her son back?! It's bad enough, you were making him move away from his boyfriend, who you just found out about. She is up there with some of the worst BL parents in history. Now Grandma, she is in the one of the best parent's/support system. That line about it being a privilege to know RyuZen's relationship status was top tier! Especially for Ryu's mom, she really had no right to know. I also want something to happen to that gross Head of Academics. He needs to be found out for being the worst! I was okay with Atom and his shenanigans, until this episode. Like seriously dude, after confessing and letting Zen know about the scholarship thingy, he should have gone home. After catching RyuZen's hug outside of the last game, if he didn't catch that GIANT clue that he had zero chance, he doesn't need to be on the basketball team, he need to focus more on studying to improve his brain. While Ryu and Zen aren't necessary out, they ain't really in, so him forcing a sleepover just bothered me soo much. Then when he went for the kiss, even the forehead kiss, I wanted to punch him so hard. Like how dare you! You literally told Zen he didn't have to respond to your confession and to not worry about it, that you wouldn't make it weird. Well, shit show, you made it assault! Frank is doing his job in this series, but I'm anti Atom now. I really hope Zen doesn't go to Phuket with him. I need Academic guy found out, money given to the team and Ryu and Zen can stay. That is all. Side note: First's little pity party about being reserve was weird, right? Like, it would have been one thing if hey had indicated, even once, during the entire series, that he was working really hard and really wanted to make first string. That scene would have been so much better, if he had just confessed to Lin and then said all the same stuff Frank said, but really meaning it. Then next episode, we get her giving him a chance, the end. One more tiny side note: It would have been nice, when Ryu and Zen were on the rooftop making the pinky promises, if when they started the scene, they were holding each other. Maybe a back hug with snuggling cause they went from living together to only seeing each other at school And it was after the Atom sleepover. It would have also been even better, if when the scene cut to them on the roof, they were making out, cause what else would 2 teenagers who are dating do, especially after they hadn't seen each for a little bit. IJS.
What a rollercoaster! I am sooooo glad that we get another episode tomorrow, cause I need to know more! I will say, this being Daou's second only series, he was amazing. Now, if I was directing, I would have wanted a bit more crying/begging when Vee was trying to leave after he saw that Vadfah girl and San hugging. And if I was directing, Offroad would be in all the workshops to learn how to actually cry on command instead of the scrunched up face. I KNOW it's not a easy feat! I admire the actors who are great at it, like Gun Atp, or BillkinPP. Barring his inability to do that, I would have made sure that "tears" were streaming down his face in every scene he was in. Much like (ironically) my favorite scene with Prapai and Sky when he is reading the diary, Peat's inability to actually cry ruined the scene a bit for me. Same with Offroad, much like Peat, he acted amazingly in all his scenes....except for the lack of tears. Man...if he had been able to shed "Billkin" like tears for at least some of those scenes, we would all be unable to recover. My girl Juu did a better job when all she was feeling was just bad for San. I truly believe that if he learns how to cry on command, he will be a top tier actor. I also wanted to see him being a complete wreck at Third's place. Like he said, his grandmother is dying and he lost the person he loves, he should be a hot funky mess, barely hanging on. He should look so bad that everyone who knows him, knows that he is doing badly. That feast he came out to at Third's apartment, he should have come out in sweats and a dirty tshirt and disheveled hair, saying that he wasn't hungry. That way, when Third asked about San and he got choked up and fell back against the chair, Third (and the audience) would get the full impact of how bad the situation is and how devasted he is. Lastly, I knew that she was fake, but I cannot figure out how she made that stone glow when it got to her. Every time she passed Third/Trai, and didn't fall back in horror, it pissed me off no one caught on to her not recognizing him. I'm pretty sure she got the rest of the details of the story from Suchart, who I believe isn't dead. Now if they try and say the boss who could barely breath on land was able to survive and get away with out the police immediately capturing him, I'm calling BS. Excited to see how this pans out tomorrow.
Listen, I don't know how Peat does it, cause if Fort was aiming all that rizz my way, I would fold faster than an lawn chair. My goodness! I though Fort as Prapai was sexy, but Mahasamut is killing me with the hair, the smirks, the consent, the voice. I would have melted if I was Rak. So glad we got Meena back. She is an excellent actor to be so you, so I look forward to seeing her in more scenes and other shows. Granddaddy is hot, but I hope we get a scene where he gets his ass kicked. I just hope we don't one of those predictable scenes, when Rak leaves Mut for his "own good". No, everyone, just needs to come up with solution to get Hot Papaw gone. Along with the crazy cousin. I tuned out the the GL story line, but got the gist with Vie's scene with Rak and Mut and the scenes I fast forwarded. Vi gets on my nerves, of course the girl you like doesn't know you like her, because all you have done is abuse your power and take away her autonomy. Imagine, making someone run all over town for you at the detriment of your own job and expecting them to fall for you. Crazy. I don't care that they kissed, because the way Vi treated Mook, poor Mook now feels like her feelings are a violation on Vie and that SHE stepped over the line. When it was Vivi who manipulated the situation. I am looking forward to next week with more FortPeat!

I put off watching this episode this week, but got caught today. Man I wish I had waited, the wait for the next episode will be painful! These were such good episodes! The only thing that bothered me was on the date and Daou was in that fantastic shirt, having the jacket over it ruined the effect they were going for, in my opinion. Later in the love scene when they showed Daou with out the jacket and it being half opened, it confirmed my opinion for me! That shirt fit him perfectly and it would have made him look breathtaking, which was the purpose of the show motion walk out with Juu. Plus, they must be trying to kill my boy Daou! He sweats easily and heavily even in light clothes, why do they keep putting these heavy, fall/winter like jackets on him, over shirts. You can literally see him melt through the shirt, poor guy! I'm excited for next week but also scared. I'm positive that scene they showed with Vee crying in San's arms is going to be brutal!
Has anyone read the novel, manga or story that this series is based on? I'm curious as to "how San could have…
I thought the same thing, but they kind of showed his workers through out the years, I think it was the same family all this time, so if he knew the grandpa as a child, I imagine that is why they would call him Grandpa.
My favorite scene in this episode was Latte and Almond lying in the bed cuddling. You don't see a lot of genuine cuddling in these series. Almond just being so snuggly and comfortable in Latte's arms demonstrated quietly how intimate their relationship is. What I feel is often left out an all the BL's is the lack of intimacy. Intimacy isn't just about sex, but so often, they don't show couple's in BL series hugging with it being for comfort during a traumatic scene or it looking like to bros hugging. The way Latte held Almond and they just talked to each other and played a bit and were silly with each other was chef's kiss. This series is really underrated and deserves more attention.
Man... I knew the second they showed Lin with Ryu's mom, she was going to get on my nerves! I get that she likes him. But after 10 episodes, he hasn't even showed interest in her as a friend, let alone like he might maybe like her back. And he was technically still salty with her from her shenanigans yesterday. How hard was it to say, "you know what Ryu's mama, he got mad at me for just asking him to speak to you, so on today, I'm going to mind my business. Something tells me that if you can't talk to him normally, something that isn't my business is going on, so I'm going to mind mine and kindly decline the likelihood he is going to be pissed at me for doing this." Also, as someone who is at minimum, Ryu's friend, why would you think tricking him to meet his mother was a good idea. Almost always, tricking someone to do something against their will is met with much deserved outrage. If she wanted to help, she could have simply called and said, hey Ryu, your mom came to the court and wants to talk to you, what should I tell her? Then follow Ryu's wishes to the letter and move on with your life. Not going to lie, her crying on the back of the bike pissed me off. I honestly don't get why First likes her. So far, she has been a nosy busybody. Writers, I BEG of you! Please stop writing ANNNOYING female characters! Other than that, I again liked this episode. I liked all the basketball shown in this series. I'm not particular a big sports fan of any sports, but I know enough to know if they are playing well, and this series is aided greatly by the fact that Meen and Ping play professionally outside of acting. I'm not sure about Frank, but he seems to be holding his own. Also, those complaining about the basketball shown in a series called the Rebound, with the cover being them literally playing basketball...ummm, are you okay? Like it's literally all over the trailer and everything. Every series has something outside of the romance to anchor it. Like for the Trainee it's an office and being new to the work force. Or in Not Me, it was the resistance to the corruption in Thailand. This one is basketball. It would be a lame series about basketball players if they never played basketball, you know what I'm saying?! Atom almost made it to the end of the episode with out being a douche, but looks like we are getting douchery next week. Like is his plan to have Zen get a scholarship and come with him, so he gets a chance to be with him. Or after that fist bump, is he going to get Ryu a scholarship to separate them? I am sad that next week is the last of the series. I definitely feel this series was underrated and not talked about enough. This is such a good show. Could it have been better, absolute, but so could We Are and everyone loved that! πΆβπ«οΈ
I loved this whole episode except for Lin. She got on my nerves the whole show. Her pressuring Ryu to get his mom to give money when it was SOOOOO obvious that he wasn't comfortable doing it, upset me to know end. It's one thing to ask and then maybe not catch the clue from how he was acting. But when Zen said, let's not and she KEPT going! And then she followed him out and hounded him, when it was crystal clear that she was making him uncomfortable and she needed to stop! I was irritated. And while the dunk tank worked out and she wasn't that bad during that time, it did irritate me that several of the boys said they were not comfortable going shirtless to do the tank. And I get that that was what was going to make them money, but I really didn't like how she just voluntold Ryu and Zen. And I didn't like how they all pressured Jet, when he said multiple times he wasn't comfortable. And finally, end when she got on her father. Once again oblivious to anyone but herself, he yelling at her father and not recognizing his pain when it was so obvious that even Ryu could see it pissed me off. Like did she not grow up with her father and therefore knew nothing of his character? I do want to know what this the first anniversary of the mother's death, cause if not, what did ya'll do last year. But her lack of empathy annoyed me the whole time. The only other thing that was slightly annoying but then they redeemed and made it crazy cute was the scene with Jedi and Chogun. I dislike how they infantilize Chogun. He is not a baby or a little kid, so please stop talking to him like that. It was making me mad, but then Chogun starting talking about how everyone was so nice to him and Jedi's tone of voice changed and he then had a normal conversation with Chogun, even relating it to his own experience. It was a genuinely really nice moment that I liked. I will say, I cannot determine if they are doing it on purpose or maybe I'm tripping, cause it always seems like they might just maybe are shipping Jedi and Chogun (why are all the moments with these two characters only with them two?) But then they have Jedi baby Chogun and I get creeped out, and then they have a sweet moment like episode 9. I really don't know how I feel about all of it. ππππ And finally to address the ending scene....listen, I have watched all three of MeenPing's series. They never lack in the NC scene department. Peen's cute face looking so shy but also like, but I really want to, so let's go! was too much! And Meen's looks could melt the paint off the wall. I will say, I feel sad for Atom. He has joined Bas in the "we would have been okay with you being picked" club. While I'm rooting for RyuZen, I could see Zen and Atom together. Not sure I could handle a threesome/throuple. Tattooed and muscular Meen and Frank with cutie pie Ping would short out my circuits. ππππ
Stalking is, by definition an "unwanted" and/or "threatening" pursuit of someone. While the term is traced back…
Wonderfully explained! It's only creepy if the person on the receiving end doesn't like it. Takara literally keeps appearing near Taeshin and seeks him out, instead of running away or avoiding him. It's clear he likes Taeshin for who he is. I agree, I loved MBM, especially because neither Hira or Kiyoi were "normal". And I am loving Taeshin, being so innocent and unaware of how to people. That and his eyes are killing me. I have a feeling I'm going to watch this on repeat like MBM.
Ter did give Dee a ride when his car broke down on the match. Then they got stuck in traffic and Dee decided to…
I know, I just meant that instead of continuing to see the match and sitting next to Taem to flirt, that the last we see of him in that scene was when Dr. Dee got out of the car and then only again when they announce the winner of the scholarship. My main point was they did too good of a job making Ter be a jerk then did nothing to make up for it, so he did deserve to be attached to Taem in the end.
I really, really dislike the GL side story. Apparently the only GL side couple that can steal the show are MilkLove from Bad Buddy. Maybe I'm an old lady, but I HATE that Vivi is taking Muk away from her job. Where is the backbone she used to stand up to Rak about going to the book fair when she has Vivi telling her what to do. And I get that it's supposed to be cute that Vivi is just doing it to spend time with Muk, but it is not working for me. Both women are annoying. And I hate the cousin, so here we go with all the female characters being the worst. Only one getting a pass is Meena. Outside of that, I love FortPeat/MutRak. The amount of respect Mut is showing Rak to earn his trust at the expense of himself is admirable. He isn't even putting pressure on Rak to define the relationship or demanding Rak to give him some concessions on the things he may want. He knows that if he is patient and kind and open and honest with Rak he will win him over. At this point, Mut is taking lead on Class A boyfriend's. Fort will never be able to play a bad guy, it would break too many hearts OR we just wouldn't believe him, even if he acted well. Imagine playing two of the "best boyfriend characters of all time". Although, a do kind of want to see a switch of roles in that in the next series Peat is the one who is chasing Fort. Fort deserves to have Peat chasing after him, he would be be unable to handle a Peat who has to be cuddly all the time on set.ππππ
Some of these comments baffle me. "Where is the plot?! Nothing happened!" Ummm, the plot is that it's couple who work at a jewelry design company and they are navigating dating and working together. Then there is the side plot of some mysterious connection to the past. Both of which where seen in this episode and furthered the plot. For the second mysterious plot, something major happened and now the other ML knows about it, which wasn't the case in the other 6 episodes. Now if something else comes up, they are both going to be aware and maybe do something about it. As for the work plot, something happened there as well. Now Sun is going to have to find away to balance being the president of a company while also defending his boyfriend from the accusation of fraud/stealing designs. Something is fishy about that chick who wouldn't let Pim see the files as well as demanding Lin give her the thumb drive instead of emailing it to her. She obviously is the stealer, and I imagine that will be reveal next week. But all the complaints about it being boring, I just cannot agree. They had the silly moments, like at the party. The romantic moments of them horse back riding. Is it hard to believe that Lin as a billionaire's son has never ridden a horse? Sure! But who cares when you have handsome Mos and pretty Bank riding a white horse together looking at each other like that?! Like it's a BL, people. None of them are realistic or plausible. That is why we like them, no?! I like this show. I think Mos and Bank are doing really well for only their second series. I don't love Bank's outfits, but they aren't that bad, I have seen worse. I also really dislike the Khun Dad stuff. That, I will agree, is just the worst and it sucks that we are probably going to be stuck with that nick name til the end of the series. But other wise, I think the chemistry MosBank have as well as the second ML have is worth a bit more grace than I have seen. I'm not sure about the GL story line. But I liked that we got to see Pim smiling at Prim and maybe next week we will see some development in both side couples, that would be awesome. I like this show. It is soft and fluffy and cute.
it's also not really explained in the novel, but phum was very obsessed with fang and his mom. And his parents…
Thank you, it is a weird reason in the book, so I see why they left it out and changed the problem with the dad, but I really wish they had then filled the gaps of the story plots they left out.
I liked the ending except for two things. 1)Ter's "redemption" and him and Taem's relationship. Like be so for real. Ter didn't just reject Dr. Dee because of reasons. He said mean things to someone who up to that point was at minimum a good friend and coworker. Then he tried to block Wandee from the opportunity of the scholarship. Then he played head games with Wandee when he realized Dee had moved on. And let's not forget what he did to Dr. Kwhan. He was a jerk through the entire series, he did nothing to make up for it and suddenly they slap him together with Taem and all is forgiven. HUH?! She was too strong a female character to be with someone like him. If they really wanted a redemption arc with Dr. Ter, they should have had him apologize, maybe even help Wandee make it to that one match when his car broke down and then congratulated him when Dee won the scholarship. Then it would have been all good. Taem could have just been there with the bike ride to the match and then at the end at the wedding cause she is their friend. Maybe have her come with her own date, a different member from the council club. But seriously, them together made ZERO sense. 2) They did Cher dirty in his wedding outfit. Make up was flawless, but the should pads of doom on top of the shorts and that one thing hanging down, cause huh? Just nooooo! Cher is too pretty for that mess. It might have been okay with out the oversized jacket, cause I liked the shirt he had on underneath. But seriously, I couldn't even look at Oyei's outfit cause I was so pissed at Cher's.
That is all that I didn't like about the finale. Otherwise, it was a great show. I liked that they didn't act like Dr. Dee going away should not happen just because they were together. And I'm glad that they made them stick together. Yes it will be difficult but not impossible. This ending did kind of give me hope for a special episode or an Our Skyy 3 slot for them. That would be great! Great ending, but I am sad not to see them go.
I just binged watched up til the last episode. Why is this show not talked about more?! The acting, the story lines, the comedy. Like this deserves a higher rating, at least an 8. I can't really find any flaws. Nothing is annoying me, I'm not cringing, I stayed up all night to catch up after just watching the first episode. It's not shy about sex, but it also isn't gratuitous in the NC scenes. It's completely age appropriate subjects for the plot and they deal with many social topics that series haven't really dealt with. Did I mention, everyone is cute and or gorgeous!? And can act?! Seriously, this is a hidden gem that not enough people are talking about.
Now, not that I feel like all series should have NC scenes (some of the best ones simply have a kiss, heck my favorite JBL has nothing!ππ) However, based on the first episode, I figured we would get more than we got in this episode. When it was Vivi who manipulated the situation.
I am looking forward to next week with more FortPeat!
Could it have been better, absolute, but so could We Are and everyone loved that! πΆβπ«οΈ
I really don't know how I feel about all of it. ππππ
And finally to address the ending scene....listen, I have watched all three of MeenPing's series.
Tattooed and muscular Meen and Frank with cutie pie Ping would short out my circuits. ππππ
