So just from seeing the spoilers…..you’re telling me that Kits BEST FRIEND just DIED and he and Mark are STILL…
THIS!! I kept yelling at the screen during the funeral to forget the stupid experiment they are doing and Mark go over to Kit. Also, all that stuff Thanu was saying should ha e been heard by Kit, so that he would spend what ever time he had left with Mark. Sheesh! So frustrating!
I don't know what I just watched (besides a total mess). I have sooo many unanswrrd questions and next weeks (maybe or was that a teaser for season 3?!?!) episode infuriates me!! Non went from being sympathetic, to pathetic to just creepy. I get he likes Kaitoon, and at first Kaitoon was kind of giving him hope. But after EVERYTHING, if he cannot get that it is probably not gonna happen (even if that ridiculous kiss the teased happens) and probably shouldn't happen based on how Kaitoon has behaved this whole time toward him, he is nuts! So frustrated with a show that had some potential!
This show is TOO GOOD!!! I am literally on the edge of my seat the whole time! I was choked up for most of episode 10. I literally hate that I have to wait an entire week for the next episode!! The scene between the real Black and Sean was freaking heart breaking! Off and Gun deserve so many awards for their performance! Perfection!!
The show is super campy and that is okay. There is room for all the genres, tropes and story ideas. In fact they should be welcomed cause it would be so boring after a while. This is over the top on PURPOSE and if you have seen enough of the world, there are people this over the top. I laughed out loud and cringed so hard at the second hand embarassment that is Toh. I will be sticking with this one and not take it too seriously as they have obviously intended.
Watched Ep 4, I want to like this story... I think it is cute BUT the production feels sloppy, the script is really…
All of this! Yeesh, I was like, what doctor prepares a blanket on the floor for someone with a severe back injury!?
And I need to add that while all thr acting is not good, the actor who play Dr. Yang is the WORST. I have no idea what he is supposed to be conveying when he has scenes!
This kiss would have been better if they had actually moved. It was a good first kiss. But I am not a fan of repressed Wayu. Like your VERY handsome boyfriend, who you are obviously attracted to, is shirtless. He is leaning in for another kiss, either lift your head up and kiss him back or step away. Standing there like a statue is just...ugh! And it was you who invited him up, you even made up the excuse for him to 'use the bathroom' again. So you obviously wanted 'something' to happen, even if it was just more time together. Virginal and shy is cool up to a point, but he did 'something' with Pha last season, so he should be less shy with Thanu. I would rather see awkward but enthusiastic kissing. Not saying he needed to do anything with Thanu, but make up your mind and set clear boundries. Otherwise, it just looks like you are 'enduring' the kiss as opposed to wanting and accepting affection from your boyfriend. (Are they boyfriends yet, we haven't had to official ask yet, but they declared their love, so I am assuming yes...)
I agree with BadPennyGirl on the Pok/Tong situation. Pok has not done enough for me to make up for how brutal he was to Tong. Tong is like, gotta protect my heart because this guy cares nothing about my feelings. I mean I want tbhem to make up, but Pok needs to grovel way more, maybe even do a grand display to prove his love, ie Mark for Kit season 1.
Was NOT expecting Pha to die. Well not totally. I mean it looked like he might after last episode, but I was fully expecting a rebound. Also why wasn't Mark there. There is no way Kit didn't call Mark, if only to be consoled by him. When you love someone and are hurt, you want to be with your loved one, they are your safe zone. Agreement be damned, they should have had Mark storm in there and hold him while he grieves his friend. Side note, Copter and Bas acted their booties off during that scene, although it was weird to me that the parents left befire he passed. There is no way they would have left his side.
Did not get the whole Phai/Sandee clip...was that supposed to be showing us that Sandee likes Phai...we knew from last season and this season with all the really bizarre behavior.
I'll admit that I skipped a bit this episode, just cause the long drawn out shots were killing me. But overall good episode.
Best thing about this show is the OST. Jeff Satur always wins in my book. And he deserved a bigger role in this show. I did like the Phuket scenes showing Valen and Kaitoon getting closer as boyfriends. This show is great at giving us just enough to be like, dang it I want to see what happens next even if I roll eyes through 80 percent of it. I used to be in it for King and Peat, but that story is an utter mess. Only sticking around for Valen and Kaitoon at this point, so this last episode was good for me. (Despite the lack of good dialogue between the character. This episode begged for a montage, instead these drawn out scenes of each activity they did). Also, someone put Non out of his misery. Enough already. He is pathetic at this point. Even if he doesn't know about Valen, he HAS to know by now that Kaitoon is just not that into him.
So it ended. I’m still not a believer of mazes feeling for Phap but if he’s happy I guess whatever. The conclusion…
Yes! All the kiss scenes in this episode were so bad. The only good kiss in the whole series was on the beach and Than and Neung's series /first kiss. Most of romantic scenes were just plan awkward.
Man, that episode hurt!!! I sort of get why Mark/Kit are practicing in case Kit has to go away. But at the same time, come on! All that time you could have been together wasted! I am wondering if Kit did this to make Mark realize he can't live without him anf beg him to stay? Kit only got upset and left when Mark insisted that he couldn't give up this opportunity. It feels like he really just wants Mark to beg him to stay. Especially after he begged Mark to let him give it all up. I wondered if Kit even wants this scholarship or is he only doing it because he's 'supposed to' and Mark is insistant he goes. That door scene killed me! Yeesh that was heartbreaking. They are both caught between what they 'should' do and what they 'want' to do.
Pok and Tong- maaaannn, why did Pok have to say that to Tong. Tong just wanted to protect him. I get why Pok is upset, but how he can't see that Tong only ever did ANY of it because he loves him, is beyond me. Yeah, it keeps getting messed up, but Tong's intentions are clearly based in love.
I was SHOOKETH and proud that Wayu actually told Pha that his feelings had changed and that he was no longer the same person. He didn't hide from Pha how badly he was hurt by Pha's actions, even if he understands them and forgives them.
The staring between Thanu and Wayu is getting better. I can finally see the longing in their eyes and it now feels like they are staring with a purpose as opposed to not having enough script to fill in the time.
The editing in this is horrible. The continuity issues are horrible. And the pacing is driving me insane and just when I want to tap out they FINALLY give us some progress with Kaitoon and Valen. And it was freaking cute. Finally we know who Kaitoon likes because up until now, including this last espisode, it could have be either of them. And the whole Peat and King story line, I am glad both Peat and his friends called him out on how he has been acting with Ice. I hope King gets himself together. I fon't even watch the June/Toy/other girl I didn't bother to learn her name. Its such an unneccessary story line, they are barely able to tell the main leads story. No need for new character. I will probably make it to the end but man this have could have a much better story.
Time for another initial thoughts on the episode!Basically: episode 6 was great! The amount of symbolism in it…
Great break down as always. I also think in the hospital scene, when Pha turns away, he is upset because Wayu keeps talking like Pha will get better easily, when Pha knows he may die from this illness. He turns away when Wayu literally makes him promise to get better for some future plans with his friends. It had to hurt Pha to be reminded that he may not HAVE a future to plan.
This last episode was sooo much better than before. I don't know about all this forgiving Sandee...what he did was nuts. And his WHY is unclear and nuts. Everything else was amazing. All the angst you could want! The pain felt from the three main couples was sooo felt! Everyone acted their booties off. I just hope they don't throw some crazy ish to keep my boys apart any longer.
I believe I watch the uncut version, but I still feeling like I skipping some scene, the timeline kinda messy…
Thank you for saying this! I was like is it me or are they skipping things. Like when did they introduce themselves, when did Phob ask for help in the dream. I thought I was missing something!
Yes to all of this. The recap was ridiculously long, and at the end of last season it seemed like Kaitoon was FINALLY liking Valen back. What happened!? I was so excited to see a cis/trans relationship but was disappointed it was yet another character. They should have stuck to flushing out the already complicated love story for the other couples. The story now seems all over the place.
Ok, so while waiting for the next episodes to air, I need your thoughts on the main cp.Who do you think will fall…
I think Sean always was attracted to Black but hated his personality. Now that White is showing him a different personality, he is going to fall quickly.
IDK if I should put this under spoilers since it's for S1, but:So Thanu/Wayu and Thanu/Phai are about two different…
This was crazy helpful, as I got that they were trying to talk about fated love versus realistic love, but how you described it clarified the writers intentions greatly! Also, Sandee! I was so frustrated by him cause he seemed so sweet at first but his actions are so wrong, understanding that in his own way, twisted as it is, he is trying to help Phai get his destined love, which he believes strongly in. This makes SOOO much sense within this story line. Thank you!!
It just gets better and better! And now they are going to switch to Kiyoi So point of view!! I cannot wait to hear why he treats Hira like he does even though its obvious he likes him too. Perfection! Between this and Bad Buddy the week is soooo long!!!
Completely agree, this entire show was realistically only maybe 5 episodes because the rest was filler flashbacks. The same scenes shown over and over! Otherwise lovely concept, and the music was beautiful. Hopefully when they do the movie they will fix these issues.
And I need to add that while all thr acting is not good, the actor who play Dr. Yang is the WORST. I have no idea what he is supposed to be conveying when he has scenes!

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode!
