I don't see chemistry with ML or SML to be honest. The issue is that, as you mentioned, she has so many scenes, cute and romantic cliche scenes with the 2ML PLUS past history that right now SML seems like the ML. FL has known the ML for less than 2 months and the way they portray him is usually how 2ML behave in any other kdrama.
oh wow I hadn't watched episode 8 but what a way to destroy the little faith I had in FL first 4 min are brutal!
She leaves work on time and after work its her time to watch out WooJoo but no, she leaves for dinner with the manager, without letting the uncle know. and not because she needs permission but because, again, she is the guardian!! FL and 2ML have a much more romantic confession and follow up, come on just get together already, stop dragging this unnecessary. And lastly...her acting is terrible, she stares blankly, gets watery eyes, semi hidden sad smile and that's it for every scene!

its the not answering the phone for me every freaking time, every time, every emergency every time!! its the going inside the house when its clear someone broke in. its the I heard the ML feelings but decide to play dumb but decided to go out on dates, like you clearly liked the 2ML just be honeeeest and lastly its both of them leaving the baby with the sketchy father!!! whyyyy??? so yes, agreed!

I am watching because I want to believe it will get better. The plot is a mess, the script, interactions, characters are too forced. Main characters have no evolution and now we are spending time with another minor character... Main issues...is the FL the only one working in that team? she does all and I mean all the work and she is a contractor...with no real experience right?. Who is really the 2ML? ML is seriously getting less and less screen time. FL main issue is not choosing a man, its actually caring for WooJoo and start getting her life together so she can take care of him and its not because she is a woman or because society says so and what not its because she said she was going to take care of him that's it. not the uncle, her. At this point I would gladly eliminate the ML and FL romance.. Anyway let's see

lol... is this for me? i just started this like 2 weeks ago so I dont think its for me. but hey if i dont want to binge it and take my time watching it so I can give it the right attention thats what ill do.
wait so is this ending next week? why did I think we still had like 4 to go. reaching the ending at this place in the plot it feels a bit underwhelming tbh. there is still so much that needs to be unpacked. ive enjoyed the drama just feel there should be a lot more energy and excitement for the ending.
