I love this and I agree with you on this. the drama is deep in all you mention and that is what Im enjoying and taking out of this. the messy, the unknown, how you're forced to grow and how just life happens whether youre ready or not. what i meant with not that deep was in regards to the semi political, brainwash conspiracy comments of seeing a cute baby and a single female character and just catalog it as baby propaganda, tradwife etc... when what we're seeing in this fictional drama I would literally catalog it as the opposite. it focuses on the wrong depth IMHO.

i watched this as it aired and i didnt mind the second couple throughout, i just couldnt get past how terrible those last eps were for the main couple so it annoyed me that we spent a good chunk of the series' last episodes and 2 specials dedicated to the second couple instead of developing more the characters, their relationship, the past, etc. I agree with you, at the time this aired 12 eps was rather new right? and it showed they took out filler stories and essence...not sure if they have the hang of it now but i still prefer the 16 even 18 with good side stories and enough time for character development

one wonders what drama you're seeing or if you're seeing this one at all since you focus success mainly in appearance. its clear acting and storytelling might not be your thing. im ok with people not liking the story or the acting but the beauty comment just invalidates any other reasoning you share.

For the time period this is set in, the amount of sadness and darkness was absolutely needed. its heartbreaking but necessary to show how rough that period was economically and mentally for individuals and families. reinforces why jang mi goes so far to show the companies wrongdoings
wow ep 9, we got a major turning point and loooove where it's heading. also, standing ovation to the level of acting we got in this episode, special shout out to PSH and HYK! their interactions are gold. chairman is vile, so LDH is playing it wonderfully. okok cant wait for new ep.
Well that's a wrap! this was just amazing drama super funny, utterly cute, no unnecessary misunderstandings or filler stories and above all we got a healthy respectful mature relationship. I'll miss this drama
