Am I the only one thinking this feels more like a vertical drama? The editing and script and even some of the acting is not what I had expected. But I’m only a few episodes in so I’ll see if it gets better before dropping
I’m really surprised by all the hate for this drama. If you take it at face value it’s a fluffy romcom with a lot of really cute comedy (from KWK- he’s adorably hilarious). I enjoyed it. But maybe others expected more for some reason. I’ve been watching a string of melodramas and period pieces so this was a welcome fun show with lots of laughs and sweet moments.
Commenting after watching ep 7: after 3 episodes I was ready to drop it for the bad editing, overly melodramatic scenes and rushing through the story. I felt like a bad vertical drama. But it does get better- so hang ln there!

Yes exactly! So much like a vertical drama with the editing. I just commented somewhere else that the editing is too choppy at times jumping scenes or adding stuff that is out of context. I’m gonna give it a couple more episodes to see how I feel. I have so many in my watchlist I don’t like wasting time on dramas that aren’t solid

I loved master of my own. Just finished rewatching it. I’m giving this one a few more episodes cuz I love the FL and I like the fast pace. However some of the editing is weird. Like we’re just jumping around to scenes that were shoved together. I hope it smoothes out soon

I don’t normally mind them. Especially the crow caw when someone doesn’t something dumb- it’s funny. But with the first couple episodes they went heavy and threw every sound plus silly music all in the same scene. Lol I did stick with it and I either got used to it or they used it less
I really want to like this but the sound effects are so over the top! Please tell me it calms down after the first episode. I love the actors in this and thought it’d be cute. But the cartoon sounds and silly music at every turn is crazy
Just started this on iQIYI and the filming is so jumpy it’s bugging my eyes. It’s like it keeps losing focus and also has a glitchy pan. Is it just their version or is that how it’s filmed?
Rewatching again and it’s still just as funny and cute! It’s the perfect palate cleanser between intense dramas. The chemistry is great and it’s got a lot of laugh out loud moments. Still a 10 for me!
Dropped after ep5. The 2 MLs are faves of mine but the FL was an annoying character and pretty useless. What a shame, I was looking forward to it. It was boring at best.
I had this on my watchlist for a while and never gave it a try. Then after reading the poor reviews, I removed it. But something recently told me to just give it a few episodes. I’m so glad I did!
It’s not a masterpiece or even the best kdrama. There are some over the top characters at times. But the chemistry with the main leads is good. And there are a lot of cute and endearing moments. I’m glad I finally gave it a chance - I binged it in about a week.
