No need to rush to catch up. The important thing is to have fun! And be happy you have a lot of episodes to watch…
Actually, I do feel a bit of pressure to catch up. I'm OLD(-ish). I'm already in my mid 50s! Catching up isn't an insurmountable goal, but it is a bit "gah!" when I think about it too hard. ; )

I'm only on Ep. 3 of the live action series (Ep. 150 of the actual anime), & I am LOVING it! The actors are great! They've really brought their "A" games, imo. The writers have worked some magic fleshing out all of the characters. I'm very much looking forward to more!
**UPDATE: I just finished the last episode (Ep. 8, I believe), & I really REALLY enjoyed it! The
risk of a live action One Piece being utterly corny & cringe was so high, I almost chose not to watch it. I'm so glad I did, tho! They did an impressive job. I had so much fun watching!

Can someone tell me how is this drama? Is it good? I have watched the movie version with mikako and miura as main…
I'm very fond of this story, & was so excited to see a new version become available. It's awkward, gentle, & sincere. It can also be incredibly frustrating, but it's all part of the story. If you've only watched the movie before, I recommend watching this series; however, you'd get a lot more story from the manga or anime. Whichever you go with, I hope you enjoy!
On From Me to You Apr 2, 2023
I've watched the anime three times, the movie once or twice, & now I'm watching this live version of the series. Oh, I've also read the manga. Even knowing how frustrating the story can be, I'll probably watch any & all future versions that might come out, too! It's just lovely; even with it's awkwardness.

Michitaka (Shirota Yu) was actually my favorite in terms of delivering such an oddball character "convincingly." The fact that he was able to do so with such an AWFUL wig speaks volumes.

As an introvert, it's not as if I hate people. Most of them do leave me feeling anxious to a certain extent. It's as if my clothing starts feeling like it's too tight; like when you roll over in bed, but your clothes become twisted; constricting. It's not painful, but it becomes intolerable.
Still, it's not as if I'm crippled socially. I just find it fatiguing. Even when I've had a good time. Doesn't that sound bonkers?? :sigh:
That being said, for the most part, I'm just more comfortable & relaxed in my own company. It doesn't mean that I'm incapable of having meaningful relationships with people. They're just few. I've been married to a wonderful man for over 30 yrs. Oh lordy, how he makes me laugh! He didn't take my need for alone time personally. He can entertain himself.
I'm not trying to insinuate that there's anything wrong with people who require more attention. We're simply built differently.

[Ep. 3] Tbh, after two episodes, I thought to myself, "Oh boy, this is going to be a long one." I felt as if I was easily a few more episodes in than I actually was, you know?
Well, I finished the third episode, & this time I thought, "Ahhhh, I get it now. It's not that it's slow per se; it's just that they've been *really* easing the viewer into it." That sudden shift in perception allowed things to settle in nicely!

I just watched her in Ep. 16 of "Our Blues," & she's a lovely, little actress! She's such a cutie pie!

I really want to watch this but 20 1 h 40 min eps is stopping me eek that's long...
I made it thru all 122 episodes of "Mom Has An Affair." It took effort, & not just due to the number of episodes. Give that baby a go, & you'll eat thru a 20 episode series like a snack pack. ;)

"Wholesome." In a lovely, sweet way rather than a corny way, you know? I was around their ages in '88, but living a very different life (not just bc I grew up in the States, either). It's true that I was unfamiliar with the soundtrack & other cultural references, but although I was missing that one bit of nostalgia, it's lack did nothing to lessen my enjoyment of the story, the acting, etc. I just wish I wouldn't have taken so long to give the series a go! I've known about it for years!

I'd love another season where Junwoong is the RM Teams's on-the-ground assistant in the Land of the Living.

I can't think of another drama that had me crying for dang near half of the episodes! I even got irritated about it a few times! lol Like, come on! I need a break!

(Ep. 16) The no hugging thing was KILLING ME in this episode! lol I could feel the anticipation just dragging at me! It rarely registers any more, but when it does...! Hoo boy!
However, those scenes were some of my favorite moments of the series. They were very touching!

This was one of the coolest drama endings that I've ever seen! I just thought it was different & interesting how they wrapped it up. Nicely done!

Okay, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm going to go for it. Something about this series felt so....thin? The word kept popping up in my head as I watched so I started to go thru a mental checklist in order to discover it's source:
-Was it the actors/acting or the characters themselves?
No. I was impressed by the level of character development that they managed in episodes both short in number & in duration.
-Was it the visuals/the set?
Nope. I thought the sets were very visually appealing!
-How about the story itself?
Maybe a little bit. Given more time, I would have enjoyed seeing more of the gods' past experiences while in God-Land or wherever they were from, as well as throughout their time on Earth. The story could have been fleshed out to a much more rich degree. Still, even without all of that, I thought they delivered a cohesive story.
-Well, the only thing left is the music...? Is it really that deep?
So this is the hill on which I've chosen to die, I guess. Although the light, ephemeral soundtrack was fitting, I think it was overused. I think more dramatic music (or more typical k-drama music), peppered with the ephemeral, forest-fairy music would have gone a looooong way in adding some depth to that "thin" feeling I mentioned above.
I'm really curious as to others' opinions!

Took the words right out of my mouth. I don't know if it was the episode or his voice, but you can feel the emotion…
I did! Right after I learned his name I went & watched a couple of the show's compilation videos of his, & I was just swept away!

Thanks to @Endroine, I learned that the singer in this episode is Kang Seung Yoon. At the risk of sounding silly &/overdramatic, the fact remains that some artists, after watching them perform whatever their talent might be, leave me feeling as if I've received a very special gift. This man is one of those artists. Simply breathtaking!

The song is called Summer Flower by Heon. But someone needs to upload Kang Seung Yoons version somewhere D:
This is what I came here to find. Thank you!
