I've been a fan of Lee Joon Gi ever since I watched his absolutely BRILLIANT performance in "The King and the Clown" (2005) many, many years ago, so listing a slew of great things about him is really just a given at this point. However, what *isn't* a given, for me, is truly enjoying a K-drama's female lead. There's probably a 60% chance of that happening...& I might even be overstating it a bit. I'm actually embarrassed to "out myself" on that fact, tbh. I find many FLs characters to be dull...predictable, if not downright irritating. Moon Chae Won, on the other hand, is not to be found in that group. I've enjoyed what she's brought to anything in which I've seen her, & her work in "Flower of Evil" did not disappoint.
I feel as if I just watched a 10 hour long "Most Unsatisfying Video Ever Made." You know, the kind that features somebody cutting a cake all catawampus.
Ji Chang Wook. Hands downl! These last couple of projects have been...unremarkable, at best. I'll refrain from listing the "at worst." Kim Yoo Jung (co-lead in Backstreet Rookie) deserves better, too.
Jeebus... Gorgeous AND talented! His eyes are so expressive! I'll be checking out some of his past work now that "A Piece of Your Mind" is finished, & I definitely hope to keep seeing him in future projects, too!
omg! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this series! It's funny & delightfully risque! I've been watching Kdrama for YEARS (I don't know how I missed this one!), & have seen too few that feature relationships, including the sexual issues, which refuse to treat intimacy as if it was shameful. In fact, way too many shows have the main, consenting adult characters kiss as if they were nothing more than two dolls having their faces clacked together by a five year old! Oh, this is a GEM!
I just have to give big props to the actors for having to do so much crying in this drama! They must walk around with puffy, red eyes & faces for months! I'm really very impressed!
Seo Yi Sook is one of my favorite actresses! If I see she's in the cast, I know there's a good chance it'll be a decent show. I might despise the role she's playing, but that still means she's doing a great job!
For some reason, Shin Ye Eun reminds me of the wonderful, older, Korean actress Seo Yi Sook. I don't know what it is about them, but it keeps popping up in my head!
Although I could have easily watched another dozen or so episodes, just to see how their lives were going, the ending was actually pretty satisfying. Great series!
It's just a perfect all round horror-comedy. I love how the tension really builds up and then at the reveal it…
As you mentioned, the director's control was downright maestro-level, imo! Also, I laughed throughout the entire movie, as well, which is a rare. Good comedy is harder than people realize. Good Comedy/Horror, without sacrificing either, is damn near impossible. It was a great recommendation!

Good things really do come in small packages! ; )
