Loved this drama; unexpectedly in-depth, as well as funny as hell.
Just recently started watching Chinese dramas and, I have to say, this is the best so far. By watching Wu Xin I've discovered handsome Elvis Han and Wang Yan Lin, the guy with the quirky, killer smile. I'm looking for new dramas starring these two right now.
I enjoyed this drama to the fullest (with the exception of the last few episodes). Loved the espionage, but felt the lack of romance toward the end; just at a time, it should be spiced up. Loved the actors, the romance (only dominate earlier episodes) and twist at the end.
Very cute drama; a quirky plot with humorous side characters. Chin King was hysterical and really kept the flames going for this series. My only complaint; I missed Chris Wu's black hair (LOL) - how totally fan-girlish of me.
Can't understand all the negativity for this drama nor the female lead character. Personally, this is one of the most enjoyable dramas I've seen this year (and I've seen plenty). The only negative thing I have to say is... the plot is cliche. However, Park Hae Jin's stoicism, which gradually fades with each episode, keeps me engaged.
Kim Ming Jun I liked right off the bat; her feistiness with both Hae JIn and Sung Woong were the highlight of the first episodes. Although it has fallen off in the later episodes, I enjoy the naivety she displays as she comes to term with her feelings. Come on people, not every actress has to look like a Miss Korea to be appreciated by fans, some are just being stereotypical of what a lead actress should look like. I think Min Jung's acting is on point with the character and I will be looking to watch other projects she has done.
As far as chemistry goes, I feel Hae Jin & Min Jung have it. The 'I know what you're thinking' and 'I dare you' glances are classic of two people in sync. Words are not necessary with these two. I find these two as adorable as I did Bin and Ji Won of Secret Garden.
With all the espionage and grand f**kery of the last past episodes, I can't stop watching; I plan to see this through to the end to see who's screwing who (not literally).
Very good drama; emotional, endearing but a classic case of good guys finish last. Jun Sae did everything for Eun Sung, yet in the end, she still chose the undeserving guy that gave her the most grief. Rated 7/10
Nothing spectacular about this drama. Haeng Ah & Ri Hwan were the most boring drama couple I have yet to see. No chemistry (IMO), they just knew eah other since forever so naturally they were meant to be. I found myself hoping they were unknowingly siblings. All the so-called couples were bland, with the exception of Yi Seul and the new guy in her life, as well as the DJ and her young man.
Sorry, this drama was just too laid back; not enough intrigue or romance; it was just... there.
Comparing this with the Japanese 2006 version, I really liked the way the ending was changed (just a tad). I feel there was more slapstick comedy in the Japanese version, but thoroughly felt the Korean version was more romantic, especially from Cha Yoo's perspective.
Great drama with the best character development I've seen all year. Positive and upbeat, I must agree with 'chibiladychoi' - "it sends a message that everything in life is possible as long you will look at it in a positive perspective".
Very interesting film! I started watching the anime and then discovered there was a live version and found it more fascinating than the anime.
First, I must express how much I love Joe Odigiri; I will watch anything this guy stars in (I am quite the stalker); however, I felt more power from Matsuda's performance as Majime. This actor really stole the show with his lacklustre character. I mean, I found him very endearing and I enjoyed watching his character develop. I highly recommend this movie; it is a must see for everyone.
Shin Hyun Joon and the older actors saved this drama; he gave it a little stability. Loved the whole 'friends forever, whatever', scenario, the music, the martial arts scenes, but the relationship aspect left a lot to be desired.
Very truthful review, IMO. The friendship bond was definitely the best part of this drama. However, the couples sucked. Not quite sure when Shi Woon's feelings developed for Soon Duk or when Sun Ah decided to look at Chi Ang as a man; it was all sort of pieced together like a malformed jigsaw puzzle. Besides, Soon Duk was so full of herself in this drama, I couldn't see her with anyone but herself. Great music though, kept humming the main tune throughout the day; just couldn't get it out of my head. Martial arts scenes were good, but the two female leads should have been trained better if they planned to play the role of top female fighters.
From start to finish... easily one of the best dramas of the year. I fell in love with Jung Suk in 'King 2 Hearts' as a support character and he really showed his prowess as the lead in this drama. An awesome cast, teamed with romance, humor, a believable love triangle, family issues... this series had it all and with a well-deserved ending. This one shoots to the top of my favs list.
Spectacular!!!! This drama had everything - humor, intrigue, great cast, and romance. Kudos to couple Go Ah Ra and Lee Seung Gi for bringing passion filled, playful and demonstrative affection, which is missing in most Korean dramas, to the forefront. I hope this will become a new trend.
As expected, Ayase is great in any role she plays. The perfect actress to portray Balsa, who is such a complex character. The fight scenes were awesome, yet not enough to compete with the anime.
Quite a few changes in the adaptation, but that's okay. With only four episodes, you can only put in so much. The relationship between Chagum and his older brother should not have been changed, it would have added so much more feeling done correctly. Overall - 8 rating.
Cute Drama! I loved the side characters just as much as the main ones. For me, they kept things lively when You Qian and Xi An's relationship started to drag.
I really enjoyed this live action, just as I enjoyed the anime. Good lead choices; Nikaido's Erika was on point, she was fresh and innocent, without going over the top. Yamazaki's Kyouya was every bit the arrogant boyfriend.
The only disappointment - not enough Takeru; not much dialogue, or input (as in the manga). Overall it was great.
Superb drama; seasons best! Terrific casts - Song Joong Ki is brilliant (as usual) and Jin Goo is now an all time favorite. I understand why the Song's are best couple; their chemistry was amazing, however, the same for Jin and Kim. This setting and scenery was a great change.

Can't wait for season 2.

This will definitely go on my rewatch list.

Chao Jet is so sexy!!!
