Renascence is a whole mess and not really worth the time. Che Zhe Yuan is good in it so if you really like him, it might be worth it, but the story is so cliche and frustrating and there are tons of plot holes. Very bad writing but very good fight scenes.
I loved Handsome Siblings, on the other hand, and it is definitely worth it and made me fall in love with CZY. It was such a good role for him and a super fun and well made drama.
I do have a heavy menstrual cramps on 1st day. Sometimes i didn’t go to work over this. I think every women…
You are being extremely rude. Just because you don't experience severe cramps doesn't mean other women don't. Some women are in intense pain that does make it too hard for them to work for a day or two and ibuprofen doesn't do anything to help.
yeah it's definitely disappointing. Immortality and SPL are so well cast I was hoping this would be too. it's…
Oh I totally agree with you on the pouty thing. I just watched him in Falling Into Your Smile and he was literally pouting the whole time (which was fine for tat role). I said somewhere that his resting face looks kind of disinterested/mean and it just doesn't work for Xie Lian. People told me I was being judgmental. I have nothing against the actor, and I think he is very attractive, I just think he doesn't have the right look for this role.
I'm not convinced that this will ever be released, but I would be very happy if it did. I love both Xiao Zhan And Yang Zi and would love to see them work off each other.
the casting is certainly disappointing and the photos from the set really don't help. obviously we won't see this…
yeah it's definitely disappointing. Immortality and SPL are so well cast I was hoping this would be too. it's very disappointing that for this they went with idols rather than established actors.
It took my like 5 months, TBH. I hated it. It was both boring and exhausting, and confusing. But I'm still excited for the drama, because I like the main actors and with a visual element I will probably be able to actually understand what is going on. The only think I liked was the relationship between Gu Yun and Shen Yi.
I don't think the issues with the costumes is the color, which can be corrected in post, but the simplicity and lack of embellishment for Hua Cheng (who is supposed to be super rich) and Xie Lian looking super pristine (he has been a beggar/wanderer for hundreds of years). The costumes in the photos look like cheap cosplay you could get on AliExpress.
I personally like her videos, she gives great reviews.
All reviews are biased because reviewing dramas is inherently subjective. She always says it's just her opinion and she's just sharing her ideas. And all the major media companies are just doing it for the money and will do whatever it takes to maximize profits. She's not wrong to hypothesize about why her and other creator's WOH videos were deleted. She never claimed to have proof. I also don't think she is doing anything to engage in fan wars. Drama fans are rabid enough on their own.
Not gonna lie, I like the title Eternal Faith better than HOB. It's more literal to the story and also I won't forget where the S goes every time I try to say it.
thank god for this new wig lolhttps://twitter.com/tgcf_archive/status/1420949247818485764?s=21
His face is so wrong for Xie Lian. He is a very attractive person but he has this resting mean/disinterested face. Xie Lian oozes kindness and humility and is the exact opposite of how Zhai Xiao Wen looks. I just don't understand why on earth he was cast.
This was a nice bit of fluff. I don't normally watch modern dramas, but I watched this for Xu Kai. It was enjoyable. My biggest complaint is that the main female lead is just completely expressionless. It doesn't completely ruin the series because it kind of works for the character, but it could have been a lot better with a more dynamic actress.
yeah I checked the actors' other shows and ....people still can surprise us? You never know...you never know...
Yeah i'm really hoping that the casting director and production team here know what they are doing. They have seen things from the actors that we haven't so I'm trying to keep an open mind and to keep my expectations low for when this eventually comes out.
He is the best part of Falling Into Your Smile and I hope he gets more good roles where he's not constantly being called chubby. (he is adorable and deserves better)
Zhai Xiao Wen has a small role in a drama I'm watching right now and I am . . . not impressed with his acting abilities. I'm having a really hard time picturing him as Xie Lian. It's a fairly limited role that is almost a total opposite of Xie Lian, so I hope it's just that this role hasn't allowed him to show his skills but, ugh. I'm concerned. I just love this novel so much it will be hard for anyone to do it justice and I am wishing they went with proven actors.
I loved Handsome Siblings, on the other hand, and it is definitely worth it and made me fall in love with CZY. It was such a good role for him and a super fun and well made drama.
