They are just trying to keep up with the demand this show has. The show is already breaking records on Netflix without being avail in LatAm and some Asian countries yet. I was shocked when I saw it on the Top10 list in the US a few days ago.

KTL received so much hate and now people are loving it because it reminds them of the kdramas that made them fall in love with the genre.

Best of all it is #3 on Netflix Worldwide.

I'm loving King the Land. Glad to see that it entered Netflix Worldwide Top 10 with just 2 episodes.

I watch rom-coms for the comedy and KTL is bringing it full speed.

I think its cute how Kakao has made a webtoon based on the drama.

Of course you are allowed, which is why I said loved hating him in... My comment was that there are a few individuals who are attacking the actor himself. The hate his previous roles created have manifested into hate for the actor who is playing a role.

To those who want the EX to just go away.

I don't know how ENA markets their drama but:
1) They spent money on billboards of just him.
2) Large number of promotional clips with him. They have all been seen now but they were marketing him as a fixed cast member.
3) Magazine photoshoots before the drama aired. The shoots could just be because of his looks and popularity.

I doubt he will go away quickly as he did in SUSPICIOUS PARTNER.

He may stick around and have us love hating him as he did in MY HOLO LOVE or SO I MARRIED AN ANTI-FAN.

But his scenes will probably have us laughing as he did WHAT'S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM.

So many here are hating the actor for being able to act.

It's a kdrama, of course there is a backstory to this. They have 10 more episodes to deal with this.

They admit they have had Break Up conversations in the past. Much of what he said is supported by in the interview and what ML reads from her book. Relationships are about winning and he is the perfect trophy.

English speaking countries define it differently. Since its the shortened version of acute some countries have kept the original definition while others have changed it to something similar to adorable.

Secondary couples look fun. ML Noh - I'm going to love to hate him. ML Lee - so far is a hard pass.

I've watched ALL of ENA's dramas (new channel last year) and have enjoyed them greatly. For the most part their ratings are around the 1%. In this case I believe EAW being on Netflix was of great help because it too started below 1% but the buzz helped. Lets see how Bora Deborah does on Prime.

Its not the first time an 'older' Korean drama that does this when it comes on Netflix but its cool when it does.

Yes Korean actors like YoonA (who is th FL in KTL) do act in Chinese dramas. Usually their voices are dubbed while the remaining cast is not.

Junho does have 2 Chinese songs you may want to check out. Fellow 2PM member Nichkhun is the one who does Chinese dramas, music, reality tv and has an upcoming movie.

I'm in. Saw that it was from the screenwriter of Wok of Love which was cute (with exception of the talking horse and men taking group baths in Gatorade).

So ready to drop this at ep14. I liked it a lot before the plot twist. It's as if the writer had prepared a 12 ep drama and had to add 4 more episodes. I see comments that say the last episode is great, so I will come back to it in a week,

Cute drama. A light watch if you are recovering from a 'heavy' drama. I must have missed all of the scenes that they discussed she was a former Miss Korea or how that played out in the storyline.

If you are going to do a list like this start with a place of knowledge. The Actor is Present is a project from KOFIC - true professionals. They evaluated all actors in SK and selected 100 male and female actors. Only a few idols made the cut. These are actors being promoted globally, including an exhibition in New York.

I was considering watching it but saw that the ratings dropped more than half. Was the first episode that bad? It's been compared to Pop Up Mystic Bar, which I did not finish.
