I’m having TWENTY (the movie) flashbacks during the fight scenes. I don’t know where one director ended and the other started.

ppl saying there's too much negativity in the chara's work life i'm wondering if y'all have ever actually worked…
to anyone who thinks these work environments are exaggerated, the writer worked 17 years in the service industry in Korea before writing KTL

My favorite silly romcom just reached 1 Billion viewing hours on Netflix with 53 M views.

Continues being the 2nd most watched show in 2023/2024 in terms of viewing hours according to their most recent report (date range Jan 2023 to Dec 2024).

Title Screwballs
This might be a dumb question, but are they all actually siblings?
No, but in the year and a half HK Coin/ BeatCoin was on air they blended into one. Most of them are variety show veterans used to being on shows that get cancelled but it was different when this one was cancelled for them. It had low ratings but high OTT viewership.

This is the 4th drama I've watched with the same writer. I'm placing it on hold (ep4) because I have a feeling it will be like Wok of Love - messy beginning, messy ending but funny in the middle.

Kdrama world is big enough for both. Dramas like Business Proposal and King the Land make me happy. I also enjoy…
if this brings you comfort - according to kmedia KTL script had been floating around and was rejected by networks (including JTBC), OTT and studios. It landed in the leads hands and the wheels started to roll.

Normalize kdrama romcoms being more slice of life like this one and not just pure silliness and unrealistic goofy…
Kdrama world is big enough for both. Dramas like Business Proposal and King the Land make me happy. I also enjoy slice of life dramas but this one is in a gray area that is turning people off.

Hello MDL the viewers rating who completed is 8 and verified users rating whatever that is also 8.1 ...so reduce…
The ratings were attacked at least twice with people creating burner accounts to bring the ratings down. The first one was halfway through airing and included attacks on imdb and rotten tomatoes. That group was vocal on SNS about what they were doing. The second one was after the drama ended.

King the Land literally saved me from my kdrama slump. 2023 was such a bad year for dramas that I was dropping way too many more than halfway through. I was gravitating more towards Turkish and Latin American dramas. I get that some didn't like KTL but it re-engaged me and had me give over a dozen kdramas a second chance.
