OMG, that ending of ep 10. I swear, I didn't breathe at all for those five minutes with Boston.
I THOUGHT the highlight of the ep was going to be Rome and Raffy in the stairwell, but, NOPE, that ending was the crown jewel. It will single-handedly up my rating of this series by 1/2 a star.
I have to say, as a university professor myself (who overhears FAR more than students think I do, when they are chatting amongst themselves before/after (and sometimes during) class), I laughed so hard at some of the scenes in ep1!
Somewhere between PitBabe (pretty awful), PitBabe 2 (way better than it deserved to be), and Goddess Bless You From Death (oustanding), Pooh/Pavel have become one of my favorite pairs of actors. Ship or not, they are fascinating to watch. I am very excited about this!
Of all the things that I love about this show -- and there are many -- I've got to say I think maybe the one I love best are the pieces of art. OMG, I would hang those paintings in my house.
I already thought he matured a lot when I saw his acting in "Leap Day". No comedy there, though.
100%. I'd been lukewarm on We Are, and really disliked Never Let Me Go, but Leap Day moved Pond into my "watch anything he's in" category, because he was *so good* in it. And here he's showing how versatile he's become, because, as you say, Leap Day is NOT comedic at all, and in this, Thee has me laughing every episode!
I sometimes get the impression that Korean BLs haven't gotten the memo on consent...Jeonghan has so many red flags, it's hard to see how Iljo can keep on liking him after the way Jeonghan treated him. Really wish Iljo could've ended up with Jang Suhyo instead...
So many BLs get their drama from people who never actually TALK to each other. What I love so much about this one is that Thee and Peach say exactly what they are thinking and feeling, and they STILL completely befuddle each other. Hilarious, sweet, and so much fun to watch.
This was an absolute stunner of a series. Yeah, there were a few bits and pieces that felt bolted on, but the fundamental story was one of the most psychologically horrifying ones I've ever watched, and of all the ways I thought it would end, the actual ending wasn't even close to any of them. First 20 min. of final ep had me utterly wrecked.
