I can't recall a series where I laughed _so much_ every episode. I was leery of this series after We Are, which never really reached its potential at all, but Pond was phenom in Leap Day, and the way he and Phuwin spark off each other in these characters is just fantastic. I'm having so much fun.
I couldn't have asked for anything more from the final ep. Tears, laughter, revolution...it was basically perfection.
Also, can I say just how much I appreciated Chet/Jet -- I know people feel like their relationship was unresolved, but to me they completely read as asexual, and damn it's nice to see that kind of relationship represented.
How can such a camp and silly and fluffy and ridiculous show simultaneously be so rich and deep and full of philosophy and pathos?! This is honestly SO GOOD, I can't believe it.
(Also, I've only ever seen Ping and Nut in Pit Babe (series 1 and 2) before, and, my gosh, the diversity of roles that they can play...)
I just had this conversation with my high schooler:Me: "Have you ever heard of the Omegaverse?"Daughter:…
My teen got me into K-pop, I'm slowly introducing her to BLs. We're planning a trip to Korea/Japan/China/Thailand/Indonesia/the Philippines in two years' time -- we keep adding new countries on the basis of new music and/or TV shows that we've gotten hooked on!
(Haven't introduced her to Omegaverse yet, she is still adorably innocent.)
Check out "Stay With Me". It's a very different sort of story, but the feel of RL reminded me a lot of…
@yellowWhite I had no idea it was by the same person! No wonder I was feeling a lot of the same things (esp. when it comes to the importance of found family over blood family).

I hope we can all agree that (a) Wenai is the MVP of the series, and (b) there needs to be a spin-off with him and Janine's stories.

If we didn't mortify our children by having lives, and personalities, and hobbies, and interests, would we really be good parents? :)

1. It's a love story, full stop.
2. It's katharsis.
They have GOT to give us a second season, though, with that ending!
