So I read that XK went to BiBi’s concert. Uhmmm XK and his team have done their part to ensure they bring publicity to MR during summer airing time but all efforts seem to have been wasted. Asides the 2 promotional variety shows they filmed, we have a magazine release, concert attendance and also great escape season 7 which was the 3rd highest viewed variety show in China right now the first highest viewed being XK and TXW’s Hello Saturday episode. On the part of the FL, she also had a magazine release last week, signed new brand endorsement and also attended a concert where MR was announced to the whole concert goers. Imagine if MR had aired when it was meant to air, all of this would’ve been perfect timing.
Well as it stand I am inclined to believe the 18/08 rumor because from Narcotic Operations airing date there seem to be about 10days intervals between Tencent drama airing schedule. Coroner diary was the only costume drama airing so it got all the attention. Who knows, maybe the platform ms are now working collaboratively to stagger drama airing to maximize profits. Anytime MR comes I am sure it’ll be a bang🔥🙏🏾

Why step on XK? Why not step on fellow actresses. It’s not like xk can take resources meant for an actress. Cousin wanfu was rumored for xk and Sabrina chao. When xk refused it, sze was given and her ML wasn’t on XK level at all.

CD seems to be the only costume drama airing. I don know anything about OG or any of the cast. I have never seen w drama starring either of the main leads. There nothing wrong with airing serious dramas, but with the number of consumers during summer surely there’s room for more than one genre to shine.
