What I'm most annoyed about are the non-dream scenes that seem to have been cut. As others have pointed out, there are awkward transitions between scenes and stuff that seems to be obviously missing.
Just off the top of my head, in episode 17, one minute XJ is telling the others it's unlikely FR will be harmed at this time, and the next minute he's on a horse desperately galloping through the streets to save FR??? There must have been a cut scene where he was alerted that FR was about to be beheaded.
And in episode 16, when XJ is looking at FR, he recalls something a woman says about him feeling sad when he feels someone else's (i.e. FR's) sadness, etc. But the scene where's he's originally told that seems to have been cut too.

The top right corner of the video in the tweet indicates the cut scene is in the Chinese iQIYI version, so it seems the Chinese vs. international iQIYI versions are different. I'll try a VPN lol.

In one of the trailers, XJ refers to FR as his 王妃 (wangfei/principal wife). I was hoping this means FR eventually becomes his principal wife. But I'm not sure if 王妃 is also simply used as shorthand for 侧王妃 (ce wangfei/secondary wife) (XJ also refers to FR as this in the same trailer). Does anyone know??

XJ and LFY are actually really different. XJ, unlike LFY, smiles frequently, is quite playful (towards not just FR but also other characters) and even flirty, and opens up more easily (e.g. telling FR more about his backstory without her even asking).
Unpopular opinion, it seems, but I can't bring myself to be interested in the 2nd couple lol. I definitely prefer the main couple's scenes and was disappointed when one of the episode previews for this week only showed the 2nd couple. :/
