Halfway through, and it's all good. A pretty light, easy watch (by my standards) with enjoyable characters. But the subtitles. Omg, they are so bad. In the first 5 minutes of episode 7, for example, garage is not synonymous with office. And you do not ever need to add an s to staff ("staffs" is just wrong)... everything really needs a proof-read. Very unprofessional.
I haven't really been enjoying episodes 2-4, but it looks like next week some truths will be out, forcing them to communicate. (I hate miscommunication, or in this case, the complete lack thereof)
From now, I'm going to guess about 2.5 hours, maybe a bit longer. This is allowing for it to start airing in 20 mins, run for probably less than 1.5 hours, then have a 30 minute delay before it's available.
It's very polished with a big name cast and an accomplished screenwriter. Only two episodes are out atm, so it's hard to call (I wasn't sold instantly, but I'm very picky). We'll see in the next few weeks.
Can someone recommend me any other dramas like this, specifically murder mystery?
Solomon's Perjury. (Kdrama version) A kid jumps from the roof of the school, and the case is ruled as a suicide. Then an anonymous letter circulates claiming that he was murdered. A student-led investigation ensues.
It has been many years since I watched it, so I can't recall how the quality compares to this drama, but I remember finding it very compelling at the time.
I've been avoiding this because I don't particularly enjoy Cha Eun Woo's (lack of) acting. But genre wise, this drama is right up my alley. Has he improved at all?
We all know that she won't take the revenge. She is a bright person who deep down trusts him alot. Plus we also…
Yeah, with all the drama that went down in episode 4... it was like everyone forgot about her father. What happened to him? Did they get around to sending him to Qing?
I disagree. Subtitles on Viki will have an A/N for context when necessary. Subtitles on Netflix, they will change the meaning entirely - not all English speakers are a familiar with American culture (and I shouldn't need to be to watch a Kdrama) Also, they get the names wrong (always reversed, with surname last). I much prefer the usually more literal translations on Viki. Even if it doesn't quite flow so well in English.

(Also the bad rep for the gay bar was uncool. Very much lacking nuance and playing into negative stereotype.)
